Hey eds what is the rumour going around on twitter about Liverpool and Israel? Sponsorship or something like this some are even talking about a flag on the shirt etc I know its probably nothing but still can you clear things up?

{Ed002's Note - Liverpool shirts will not be having the Israeli flag on them. This goes back to August or September and I imagine has arisen again due to some contact between the city and Tel Aviv.}

Forgetting the shirts Ed. Is this purely financial or is political aswell? Do you think it is a strange move by the club to to even put themself's in a position where fans might see this as a political stance. It's a very sensitive subject for a lot of people.
I understand completely if you can not or don't want to post or reply to this post. Thanks anyway.

{Ed002's Note - Chambers of Commerce from different cities meet with representatives of businesses all of the time, and that includes sporting clubs etc.. There is nothing political involved - you think the Iranian Messi would move to a club with white sirts and a blue Star of David on it?}
