Eds how's things? Do you see it as a good or bad thing that Liverpool aren't taking part in the EFL trophy? I can only see it was bad myself as it's competitive football for the youngsters.

Isn't it the case that we (and others) declined our places because our youth squads will be decimated during the rounds which clash with international youth football?

At the moment I care more about us winning a trophy again soon, rather that playing homegrowns to be fair. I would love some scouse blood in the team, but if the quailty ain't there, it just don't make any sense.
