So Liverpool finds itself at another crossroad yet again. While a rebuild is clearly needed, stability and consistency in personnel and playing together is essential as well. Players need to really get to know who they are playing with, how they will react in certain situations and to trust that they will do their job, so they can concentrate on their own. Leaders are also sorely lacking. And let's not of course forget the financial implications of constantly buying and selling.
But the reality is that we have at the moment a mediocre squad. Individually we have some good talents but collectively we are not consistently good enough.
As a fan I have been supportive of our players but now I believe it is time to cut loose some dead wood and move some players on for the good of LFC and their own careers.
Mignolet - Too inconsistent and doesn't command his area or the respect of his own players or opposition. I think he has a great attitude, is clearly under pressure but he is a mid table GK, I know Liverpool is a mid table team at the moment but we are clearly looking to be at the top once again.
Moreno - Pace and determination to get back at times, mainly due to his own error. Plays like a headless chicken at times and sees the red mist too often. Poor in defence and he has the skill of a great final ball but too often his delivery is poor. Time to move him on or maybe if he was dropped, it would be an opportunity for him to focus and prove that he is a quality player worthy of wearing the shirt.
Henderson - Needs time to recover from his injury, if possible, a shadow of himself at the moment. Is clearly talented but time will tell if he will be able to regain his form. As a captain, he is not vocal enough and I am not sure if the players really respect him as a captain and leader.
Benteke - I was excited by his signing. But he doesn't fit into the way we want to play and he doesn't seem bothered. But we will take a huge loss on him.

So for me those three players out and we know that some others will leave as well.

Where to strengthen in the summer. GK, left back and possibly a Defensive midfielder. Assuming everyone comes back fit I believe that we will have enough strength and talent in depth. Give the players a chance to play together and make sure that we know who are strongest starting 11 are. Then hopefully come January and subsequent transfer windows just minor tweaking will be required.

But a priority for the rest of the season must be to sort out our set plays both defensively and offensively. It can not continue any longer.

But in Klopp I believe that we have someone who can drive the club forward and establish some sort of identity.

{Ed001's Note - you listed four players but said three out, which is it? You can't seriously want rid of Henderson because you, for some reason unbeknown to me, believe falsely that the other players do not respect him, can you?}

I think most fans agree with a goalkeeper and a left back but I think most would keep Henderson . And I also think we've been a bit better with set pieces of late, not great but we're improving .
