I am a bit tired of all those 'show support and don't criticise' posts. This is not Enfield. This is a fan banter site where fans share their enjoyment after wins and frustration after losses. Nothing to do with support or lack of support. A fan should be able to tell to his fellow fan that a certain player is not good enough for us or that he was rubbish on the day. If you can't stand it you can open an 'only positive comments' banter site.

I have never seen you show support to the team or the players, Last night was by no means a perfect peformance but it does not warrant the amount of abuse being thrown around by so called fans.

@fanobip : ok after a regular game if you bash some players, we can understand.

But this was a final. There was no doubt about the efforts put in by the players. We equalized in the latter part of the game, throughout the game we showed an attacking intent and were rewarded by some good chances.

Its very very easy to criticize the players but you need to understand that these are OUR players. You can't change them halfway through the season.

If Klopp is what we all believe, then he will be looking at the performances and quality of these players and make suitable changes at the season's end.

They gave it their all. We lost, I am hurt but I am also proud of our players.

P. S. : not trying to tell you or anybody how to support your team. I know it hurts to see lack of quality in almost every part of the pitch and with maybe only 2 or 3 really good players but Rome wasn't built in a day.

Plus sometimes passion > talent. City with all their talent still came to penalty shootout stage!

When I am in a match I show my support to the players, when I discuss it with friends I say what I think. when I go to a film with a friend if I don't enjoy it I tell my friend it was a bad film or that actor isn't great. I don't feel a need to support the actor. Of course if I am ever invited to the Oscars I will clapp my hands when he gets a prize out of redpect.
