My fear for Ibe is that he is a bit of a 'one trick pony'. I feel he runs out of ideas.
However is is young and time to be coached.
I think we all felt that he would replace Sterling and be the next big thing.

Ibe is young and not playing with exactly in form players. It's a learning experience for him.

Unfortunatly he dwells on the ball too much and is not sure what to do with it. This uncertainity is also one of the reasons for whoever is further forward is perplexed and they are made to look awkward.

Not sure if he can ever learn the basics at this stage.

However has a good shot in him with such short backlift.

I agree he is young but what has he done that makes everyone think he will develop into a star? He always has head down on the ball, and is so predictable that his feign left go right maneuver only worked once or twice and is irrelevant since he can't cross. I think he is played since he is our only player who offers anything on the wing, even if it is very little indeed.

I think he needs to keep being used as he is so he can develop into the player we all want him to miraculously become over night. I like the fact that he isn't scared to take on a defender and run with the ball. I guess it's easy to compare him to Sterling, but I see him as more direct, stronger and less inclined to faff about with the ball. He is not bullied easily and I like that. At 19, and with the pressure of playing for a club like ours I think he is doing just fine.

Miracles at 19? Come on guys. Sterling had Sturridge and Suarez constantly making space for him. What does Ibe have? A static Benteke!
