Below is a superb comment posted by a dritmund suporter. Pls read and hopefully people understand what negativity does

"Greetings from Mainz, Germany. I can assure you, 2/3 of the fans enter the stadium one hour prior to the match start and cheer their team during warm-up. Of course, there are people leaving before the whistle, but you can count them with two hands. In general, people will stay and applaud even if the match was lost. You acknowledge the effort, the fight.
A little off-topic, but another thing that comes into my mind is the way how (some) LFC fans see their players, especially when they are underperforming. Here in Mainz, even without having such a background as LFC we regard ourselves as a family, too. Small one, granted, but a family nonetheless. And there are things we don’t do very easily with family members. Bashing them for instance, and oozing a plethora of comments about how unable, rubbish or worthless they are. You just actually don’t do that with anyone. I think the players in Dortmund or in Mainz perform so well because they know that even if they should have a negative run.
Take a look at Mhktarian in Dortmund for example. His first season was horrible, his second very mediocre. Visible quality yes, but he just would continue to make bad decisions in the majority of cases. Jugding by my impressions of the last five weeks, I am sure that most of the fans would have wanted to trade him if he was playing in England. But both managers Klopp and Tuchel, his team and the fans believed in in him. There has not been a single word doubting his value for Dortmund. And since the beginning of this season, he is paying back, you can see, feel and smell his dedication to do so. Five superb goals and six assists in 11 matches. There are quite a number of examples like him in the Bundesliga.
I am thinking about Origi, Can and Millner, and I wonder what LFC could achieve with an atmosphere like that. "

Ticket prices are the reason the most passionate Liverpool fans are not at the game. Blame it on the low minimum wage and the ever increasing cost of living. It's just too expensive these days for the real fans. Liverpool is actually full of deprived areas and poor people, like myself.

Availability is the key issue for local fans.

Locals should get priority, should have a ticket box in town for x amout of seats.

As I do agree that the average working joe is getting priced out of seats and that the tickets are way over priced take my home town of hartlepool 20 pound to watch a lower league team is a disgrace but with the tickets in the town for local people is abit harsh isn't john? where a worldwide family and it shouldn't just be for the locals I'd love to be able to afford to take my son down to anfield but at the prices I could afford a last minute deal in the sun once you put petrol and ticket prices into it. I'm sure I read somewhere you could get a bayern Munich season ticket and still have enough left over to fly there and back cheaper than it would cost for a arsenal season ticket. which is a joke in my opinion and the sooner they lower ticket costs and make it affordable to all people not just the upper class the better it will be atmosphere wise and people staying until the final wistle because if I was paying the price of tickets these days and saving just to watch my team play I would be a little disappointed paying all that money and travelling up to see my team get beat.

{Ed001's Note - what happens if you are a local working away as well? Do they get priority or do they no longer get classed as locals? Do you have to be born in the area? The whole idea is silly. Making a bigger ground with cheaper tickets is the best answer.}

Anyone else read that in their head but in Hans Grubers voice from die hard?

I don't agree with giving any priority to anyone, locals or tourists, and we have already been over this discussion plenty of time.

John Lemon, try not to be so narrow-minded.

Its a bizzare statement the people who attentd the match need to be from lower class. Football has become like a movie, Where there is excitement you have cheers and claps.
Who attended the matches 2 years ago. If i remeber correctly we had excellent home and away support when we finished second.

Depends on ones definition of lower class though does it not Mr glory? Also I only said x amount of tickets should be available in the center of town. Like a thousand maybe. I think it would encourage more locals to go. Also not everyone fancies going anfield or buying online. Proposing an idea that is not in effect is not narrow minded. Dismissing it in the blink of and eye is though. The rael ag.

Clearly not a local like myself if you don't think locals should get some priority for a phew tickets. Not even just 100 tickets. I personally think it would encourage more locals who don't usually go the game to go. Don't see why its such a bad thing. I don't like people who support liverpool when they've never even been to england . That's why there's no passion anymore. Too many non scousers at the match who don't even know any song or sing along.
