Great win today, hopefully we can push on now with a bit more confidence.

One thing that I'm not sure about is the criticism of Milner and Lallana. I didn't see the first half and so can't comment too much, but it is interesting to me that both the commentators on the match and the Live updates from BBC and Liverpool all were saying that Milner was playing well. As I said I can't comment, but I think perhaps some posters are being unfair and not giving him credit where it is due. I'll admit that when I saw him in the 2nd half, he didn't impress me, but even so I'd like to hear.

{Ed001's Note - hmmm I am not sure what game they were watching, he was at fault on the Chelsea goal and the ball bounced off him continually. His best performance of the season, but awful nonetheless.}

Didn't think he was great, kept losing the ball or was out of position.

Agree with you Ed001. Milner was useless as usual and we looked a far better team when he got subbed.

I thought Milner was our worst player on the pitch. Dreadful performance from him, and he needs to step it up because Klopp doesn't believe in nonsense like Rodgers.

Milner was absolutely Dire and to be honest if we sign good wingers there will be no place for him, NOT captain material either, worst I've ever seen in a number 7 at our club second touch is usually a tackle or a header,
Sorry for the negativity on a great great day.

Moreno was massively to blame for the Chelsea goal also Ed01, not just Milner. Moreno I thought did well enough but stood still for their goal.

{Ed001's Note - yes he was caught out, but it should never have got to that point.}

Gareth
Moreno was at fault for the goal. He was ball watching and rameriz had a free run however apart from that he had a good game for me. Still a lot to learn defensively.

Moreno was caught out, but for heaven's sake, the lead-up play involving the 'dave' overlap, I saw that coming what felt like minutes before it happened, and I have no idea why Milner was so bloody slow to react to it. Not only that, the guy has completely forgotten how to control the ball. Every pass he receives wildly flies off his boot like an u7 learning to trap with his weak foot, and it totally disrupts the rhythm in attack.

Anyway, no more negatives, because this is a f***ing awesome win. Sorry ed002.
