Hello eds! Ed002 do you have any idea when Jordan Henderson and Jon Flannagan will be fit again? I think Jord may be the answer to our problems. A midfielder with a calm head. And Jon Flannagan is a local lad who looked promising before this injury nightmare. Thanks Eds.

{Ed002's Note - I have not checked any football press releases today but the last notes from the club were that Henderson should be available for selection at the end of November. As for JF, there has not been a recent update I can find by searching the PRs, so the last I could find is the club "hope to see him back for the "New Year". There is a web site (physioroom.com) that monitors the PRs and work to try and get a little bit more from the clubs where they can, it would be worth checking there as I don't pay that much attention to these updates always. I am sure that the club will be avoiding rushing players back too soon - at least I hope so Davies.}

We need our local lad back! Wasn't the United game the first one against the two without a scouser for Liverpool playing or a mancunian playing for them? Sad really!

I think it's best not to rush back Flanagan. Remember he has missed over a year of football now, and that is a major amount of time. He needs to be slowly introduced, and even then I don't expect him to regain full sharpness for a while yet. And while we are struggling to express ourself with our fittest players, it is not a good idea to throw him in yet even if he is back in January.

Have to admit it would be great to finally get Jon Flannagen back, just to put a proper local lad in the side which I really believe the 1st11 severely misses, the team has no real indentity since Carra and Gerrard have gone.
Up the pool.
