I've been very critical of Mingolet this season but he'd has played very well lately making some supeerb saves, great save wth feet today denying certain goal, well done lad. Allen another improved greatly, but again Skrtel MOM for me today, he's took a hell of a lot if stick this season(and last) but he's done very well last ten games or so in particular. Oh yes, what a strike from coutinho.

Allen was my MOTM. He more than held his own vs Wanyama and bar the rash tackle that should have been a peon, I thought he was great. As for Mingo, he has been brilliant and whateva he is doing, he should keep doing it.

Allen was excellent in the second half and poor in the first half. Koeman did a blunder in playing through the middle in the second half.
Moreno made the real difference shutting Clyne completely in the second period.

Southampton played through the middle in the second half because we played 5 at the back instead of 3 and there was no longer the space behind the wingbacks to play into.
