One word for last nights game - Woeful.

What was the defence doing all through the game?

We still pass the ball without an end result, the talented dribblers are not dribbling enough and we didn't appear to have a striker at all.

The keeper looks like he is 10 years old and scared of everything, he did pull off a couple of great saves I might add. But clearly has no confidence on set pieces, because our defence does not defender protect him.

We won and Stevie G showed us what we will miss when he leaves (I mean that as fond memories and no bitterness, as wish him well), but there was no other positives to take from that.

Well done Wimbledon, you really done yourselves proud by the way.

Wimbledon are local to me but the game was a sell out as they only have 4, 850 capacity .
Liverpool were allocated 850.

Two pub teams ? That would be unfair to Wimbledon.

How the owners can be content with the way things are going after spending all that money. Is beyond me.

Improve in one game, everything changes back to awful the next.

Rodgers was their choice. Perhaps they don't want to lose face by sacking him?

If things carry on as they are. I would not like to say where things will end up ?

I don't think it's about losing face. They are businessmen first and foremost, they are ruthless for a living. I think it really is about investigating the process and why it has failed, and then finding the right setup. If you pull everything out now then it may go even more tits up. At least with Rodgers they are guaranteed a solid mid table finish.

I wouldn't be so sure about that.
It doesn't look solid anything at the moment.

Good teams are built on a sound defence. Something about building a house on sand?
