Hi Eds.

First of all thanks. I'm sure these last couple of weeks have not been easy for you on here.

Secondly, there are lots of rumours linking us to Gravenberch and Amrabat. There are also lots of stories about how they both want moves to Man U. Having been through a similar situation already this summer I wondered if you had any insight into the reality of the situation.
For example, are we talking would delay a move and hope Man U make a counter offer because it is their dream move or are we talking Man U have spoken to their representatives and they would be interested but they would also be happy to move to Liverpool if a suitable package was in place?

I suppose what I'm really asking is would we be wasting our time and potentially risking another public disappointment or would they be genuinely worth pursuing?

With the end of the window getting ever nearer will the fact that we have already had our clearout help in these situations as I believe Man U are looking to offload the likes of McTomminay, Maguire and Van Der Beek before looking to bring anybody in?

{Ed002's Note - Sofyan Amrabat (DM/CM) Fiorentina were expecting to lose money on a sale but an excellent World Cup has changed that. Spurs contacted Fiorentina through a third party to take him as an Ndombele replacement in the summer, and Liverpool, Barcelona and Nice have had scouts watch him and have spoken with his representatives, but seemingly not Fiorentina yet. His repressentatives walked out on a discussion with Liverpool due to something Klopp said in January and if they wish to revive interest they will need to resolve that, which seems unlikely and the player has made it clear he has no interest in joining Liverpool now. Fiorentina reported Barcelona for making a direct approach to Amrabat in January but they have patched things up and something may be possible, albeit unlikely. Agent has spoken with Arsenal and Chelsea as well. The player says he wants to move to Manchester United, Barcelona or Atletico Madrid and I understand that Atletico Madrid are keen to strike a deal but expect Manchester United to make an offer. Barcelona would be open to a deal but this summer looks to be a problem. Napoli consider him an option to replace SMS. West Ham give an unlikely option. A whatif answer may be PSG if they appoint Mr Mourinho as their new coach - but that never happened. A wildcard option will be Inter Milan who are looking to replace Brozovic and will guarantee a starting place for him. Al-Ahli will offer an option. Manchester United offer a serious option and I expect a transfer can be completed but they will need to pay more than they want to.
Ryan Gravenberch (CM/DM/AM) Versatile midfield player who only joined Bayern Munich last summer and wasn't to be for sale, unless the Head Coach decides he can join the lengthy list of players now available as he looks towards a rebuild and with Brazzo Salihamidzic being sacked that has become more likely. I am not aware of any approach by Liverpool to Bayern Munich at this time, but that may change and they have spoken with his agents. There have been enquiries from a number of clubs, including Manchester City and Manchester United. The player is making demands about being a starter and game time and Bayern Munich have told Team Mino he can be sold. Newcastle may offer up an acceptable bid, they are certainly interested. There is interest from Italy but that may not suit the player. The player has made it clear he would like his next move to be to Manchester United and they provide an option and have spoken with Bayern Munich about him during discussions over another player. A wildcard maybe Juventus.}

I feel I may already know the answer to this - but would it be possible to shed some light on what Klopp said that caused friction with Amrabat's representatives? I appreciate this may be seen as unimportant but it's helpful in understanding how we behave behind closed doors.

{Ed002's Note - No, it is unimportant and done to death in January.}
