Any truth to the rumor Liverpool is looking into American Yunus Musah?

{Ed002's Note - Yunus Musah (CM) Valencia have no intention of selling the ex-Arsenal youngster and are not comfortable with his agent talking to clubs in England including Liverpool, Manchester City and Chelsea.}

Hey Ed002

Out of curiosity, does his club have any leg to stand on with regards to their irritation at the agent speaking to the clubs? Your previous notes made me think agents do this regularly don’t they?

Obviously they could prohibit direct conversation with the player - I was just curious how all this works.

Thanks in advance!

{Ed002's Note - They don't like agents offering players around without the permission of the club. Generally all of the decent agents will abide by this}

Thanks for the reply Ed! I think he could be a decent, young, less injured Keita replacement. But if his club have no interest in selling there’s not much you can.

{Ed002's Note - It may well disrupt the player and the club could be forced in to a corner.}

I’d rather avoid American players they get so hyped and never seem to deliver. Admittedly they had a good game against England. But really have any of them shown enough.

Pulisic hasn’t delivered because he is either hurt or not played. Tim Ream has done fine with Fulham over the years. Adams and Aaronson are doing well at Leeds. Tim Howard has a nice career at Everton. Dempsey was ok at Spurs. This is a different generation of US talent but for the most part nobody in the past has been a superstar. Perhaps the link with the Arsenal academy and growing up in England would help with Musah. Who knows.
