I really can't see Slot staying, with the vast majority of fans really not happy, and the team being booed off the pitch, the owners will have noted all that disquiet. Plus his refusal to use the academy will also feed into the feeling he isn't right for the club.

It may well be he thinks he will be at Liverpool next year and the club probaly haven't dispelled those thoughts but the writing is on the wall for him.

Where did Ngumoha and Nyoni come from. Slot should have been gone a while back, but making stuff up and presenting it as fact doesn't add weight to the argument for getting rid of him.

Ngumoha and Nyoni came from our youth teams as any proper fan knows.

Alwaysred, when you say you don't see Slot staying, do you mean beyond this season? Or till the end of the season.

If the later is what you mean, then I see him staying till season's end. Been saying this for months esp. as soon as that window to sack him (9 losses in 12) passed.

as a point of clarity Ed001. How long would a player need to be at your academy to say that they're a product of your academy?

{Ed001's Note - it is more than that. It is the fact that both of those were pretty much straight in and around the first team squad, which is why they chose us. You can't really sign a pro footballer and then claim you developed him through the academy, especially when the contract you sign them on promises they will be in and around the first team squad, rather than working in the academy.}

Yeh, but as far as the 1st team manager of a club is concerned, they're the two most promising academy or reserve players we have. He doesn't care how long they are at the club.
