I have heard whispers that Liverpool might be considering adding Jamie Carragher as a defensive coach for the first team. Is there any truth in this?

I would genuinely rather have our U18s coach play in our defence right now, at least he would be switched on and get stuck in and play for the shirt. I’m not saying this would happen at all but it tells a story when Gerrard the youth team coach is the best player out of the whole defence probably still now lol.

Eds, two players I have seen little information about on this page are Ryan Gauld and Dennis Praet. I know it was mentioned on here about a year ago that we were interested in Praet. Do you know of any interest we or others might have in these players. Thanks.

Liverpool, Ajax and AC Milan declared an interest in Anderlecht's Dennis Praet last year. Interest remains from Ajax.}

Eds, I didn't find anything by searching. Do you know if there is any link between Karim Bellarabi and Liverpool? Or what is happening with him?

Eds, I was recently checking the stats of players previously of interest to LFC, and noticed Luuk de Jong has scored 54 goals in 97 appearances for PSV . That is impressive. I know he did not shone at Newcastle, but he seems to have improved since then. Any interest in the premier league?

Eds, I have seen a rumour that Brendan Rodgers will be replaced by Frank de Boer by the end of this month. My question is: Do you still consider it a possibility that Rodgers will be let go? It seems a common assumption he will be saying but the silence from Anfield and the sackings and promotions make me question it. What do you think? Thank you

Eds, in the case of konoplyanka.
I have read that he is holding out for a move to LFC. Is it likely that LFC still holds interest but do not want to pay the 15m sum they offered in January? Being aware of kono's interest they could be holding out to the end of the window when he is likely to give up and a smaller club will offer a smaller sum. In this way LFC can then offer that same lower sum and because of kono's desire to join LFC he would naturally seek to go there and LFC get to fork out only the lower sum. Is this a likely strategy/scenario for the situation?
Because Dnipro president messed LFC around he would learn his lesson well. Please consider!

Cavani rumors are heating up again eds. Apparently positive talks were held with Cavani's representative over the weekend and they are meeting tomorrow to discuss a bid being made. Are you aware of this, can you conform or have you more information? Do you think a deal is possible?
