That's nonsense. Trent's ego is the reason he's leaving. He truly believes that he is capable of winning the balon dor and believes that can't happen anywhere else but Madrid.

If it is true then it could be a good thing. Always good for players to have it out every so often and call each other out. That's how you maintain standards. I'd be more worried if they were all happy and pally after that standard of performance.

Ed, can I ask . If a part exchange deal can be agreed with Barcelona. Will it be Liverpool or Barcelona who would have to pay the additional money or would they both be valued at similar prices.

I think we need a massive overhaul in the next 3 transfer windows. Who knows what's going to happen with salah van Dijk, trent but even if all stay we still need a complete overhaul. Robbo offers nothing going forward anymore and defensively can be caught out. midfield looks to lack legs . We really struggle when a team man mark gravenberch as we have no one else to receive the ball from the back and then we are forced to go long which doesn't suit us and now on to the biggest problem of them all, the front 3. We have no top quality 9, gakpo in my opinion is only a squad player and Diaz is not consistent enough . Salahs performances this season have probably covered over the cracks but as you can see from the last few games when he's kept quiet we are found out. Big changes needed and I just hope the owner's will put there hands in there pockets because this could take hundreds of millions to fix.

I actually agree with you that we looked more solid with kelleher in goal. I heard a stat this morning that since Ali came back into the team he's faced 15 shots on target and conceded 9 goals. The other thing is he's turning into a liability with his feet, looks like there's always a mistake waiting to happen when he's trying to play out from the back . Kelleher far superior in that area.
