Think Wijnaldum is a good player don't understand the negatives . Mind you most people like markovic can't get my head around that one has been out Shorne by a 16 year old boy in pre-season.

Woodburn has probably been the most impressive out of all the players in preseason not just marko, so by your logic, mane is pretty average as well then. Marko has actually looked pretty good in preseason. He's a type of player we have missed badly, especially last season. We have so many attacking midfielders, why add another to that list just because he's a decent player? Why not spend that sort of money on areas that we actually need to improve, like central midfield and left back.

Mane has looked good in preseason, markovic hasn't, he looks shot of all confidence. Think for him and us he builds his career away from Liverpool. Maybe he will become a great player, but I don't think he will here.

I think Wijnaldum's a reasonably good player, but we have no need whatsoever for another attacking midfielder.

Wijnaldum found his level in a relegation side. He's not what we need and I'd be very disappointed if we sign him. That will be £20m+ down the toilet.

Wijnaldum isn't anything BUT a good player. He's lazy, poor, no bottle and even got benched at Newcastle during the relegation fight. Nothing great about a player with those "qualities".

If that's correct that's a mighty big call from Klipperty. Playing Can after 3 weeks out with only 3 days training, goes to show what a weak central midfield we have at the moment. I hope they've pumped him up with some Sakho juice and the kid has a stormer, by heck we need him. I understand the cb position might need looking at in the summer but I really like Gomez and from what we saw of him I wouldn't put him that far away from being a good back up cb.
But I can see matip and lovren being first choice with another cb being bought no matter what happens to Sakho.

Kolo leaving next season isn't he? Isn't matip his replacement. Kolo, skrtel and now banned sahko leaves us with Lovren and matip as our only real senior centre backs. We definitely need another in the summer that's for sure, and maybe even keep one of the others depending on how long sahko is banned for.

Joe Gomez is a cb not a lb Rodgers just stuck him there like he did Flanagan. I really like Gomez he's got a lot of promise, good with the ball at his feet, is comfortable with a challenge and not bad in the air. just hope he comes back from injury well.
