No chance, owners drumming up a bit of press interest to keep us all keen and thinking we're in the hunt, whilst really knowing our business is done.

You rather like Chelsea fc don't you Mr. Ed002?! ?.
{Ed002's Note - Not as much as Klopp seemingly.}

Salah, finish?! God love him but a finisher he isn't unfortunately.

IBuzzer: "Personally I'm OK with Fab, Hendo, Thiago and Jones being our first choice midfielders" -mate, year after year, god love 'em- there's not a goal in any of them barely, there's very little creativity. we need more than this moving forward. we're crying out for goals coming from all parts of the team!

re: the other options available bit, possibly anyone in world football that came in would be understudy to Andy so they were never going to play regularly anyway. we just needed someone good but above all else, content to warm bench- a lot! a rare combination.

City and Chelsea are pools winners. Lottery winners. It's sickening but we have to accept it, and as time goes by, it'll prove astonishing in years to come how we won that title ahead of city last year.

Chaps, mostly re the top of thread posts. Can't believe first reply began "sigh", and talking of billionth time. Even more amazed at the "we have tons of midfielders able to play advanced roles and score goals ". Wow, as much as we love hendo, gini and co. look at the absolutely woeful stats since countinho left re: goals from midfield.
This season more than most has proved how totally reliant we are on Mo and Sadio (and Bobby to a lesser degree) . We are crying out for goals from midfield and to add that won't detract one bit from the way we play.
We get bodies into the box, well how about looking at a midfielder or 2 who can finish for a change?
We need more goals from all over the team and this takes the weight off Mo and Sadio's shoulders. God knows I'm no fan of fernandes but imagine what old Freddie Mercury there, could add to our team? And another weapon against those teams that sit back. no brainer.

Like your spirit Z, but yes there are a few there, that while we'd like that ££, we may have to be bartered down a touch. I just hope we don't stand too firm on our prices, and show some flexibility.
Suspect keita might be a casing point, we're going to have to take a massive hit and we need to accept it rather than squabble to the point that he's here next year.

ED02 Can I ask why you continually antagonise and belittle liverpool fans on here, on such a regular basis? Do you not think that millions of LFC fans worldwide are embarrassed and ashamed of our owners actions of late? We're not blaming anyone else, We're not throwing any toys out of prams. Many of us are humble football people. Why are so many of your replies laced with barbed wire?
{Ed002's Note - Have you not thought that the usual suspects are out yet again to look for feeble excuses for the club and to try and blame others. These are the people who denied the racist Suarez; the same ones that supported the biting Suarez; the same ones who gave up Dalgleish in support of Suarez and it goes on and on and on. You need to accept that FSG threatened the Premier League and UEFA when the plan of Liverpool and Manchester United was rejected last year - they were the ones who went behind the back of the the authorities to organise the meeting in Paris last year, the ones who leveraged compulsory purchase orders to buy local properties following the cleansing of the area that they have now mortgaged along with Anfield to raise funds - and now have sold 10% of the club. I can give you plenty of other examples if that would help.}
