Ok so I don’t do social media or anything, can someone explain what happened with the klopp resigned thing? Has he actually? Or is it made up?

1.) 15 Feb 2021 10:15:43
I hope klopp doesn’t resign but I wouldn’t be shocked if he did.
With his mother passing away, that alone makes it such a hard time for him (never mind the poor results and the media) . So maybe resigning and spending time away from football and the limelight will do him and his family the world of good and will give him proper time to grieve the loss of his mother.
He’s a work class manager a top top guy and I’ll back him if he stays and he’ll have my support if he chooses to resign.
Jurgen Klopp YNWA.

2.) 15 Feb 2021 10:37:38
I am of the opinion that if he cannot give 100 percent I would rather he walked or took a break, the players are playing like he is not inspiring them and who could blame klopp for not having the fire rite now .

3.) 15 Feb 2021 11:06:41
Ed002 said it best: Klopp is not a quitter.

4.) 15 Feb 2021 20:21:24
Complete Twitter fabrication is what happened. There wasn't any substance whatsoever in it.

Who let the Utd fans in then? Was it Mr G Neville himself just so he could say how right he is?

Totally get the protest and frustrations, I am with them to be fair.

Hope the game is on though 🤞.

1.) 02 May 2021 17:11:00
Gary Neville now sprouting about fsg being dangerous owers after carra saying he agreed with utd fans protesting because of what there owers have done over the years to supporters and warning are fans what will happen to us and what fsg have already tried to do has if we don't already know this there for almost saying it's now your turn to protest are we not still in C.V. restrictions and also giving the green light for any scally watching to think its right to do so.

{Ed0666's Note - was you absent for the punctuation class at school?

2.) 02 May 2021 19:32:44
Hi Ed sorry it's me Roy Keane
Didn't do school mate.

{Ed0666's Note - no worries mate google is you’re best friend 😂

26 Apr 2021 12:51:43
Well it’s been a costly week redmen, two draws feels like two losses to me. Especially as in both games it was late goals that cost us. I bet the team feel the same.

Not looking forward to Sunday. The Utd games are always awful as it is. Can’t think about loosing there aswell 😭.

1.) 26 Apr 2021 13:19:56
We will get the result we deserve!
We’ve been off the boil for over a year on this form
We don’t deserve CL!

2.) 26 Apr 2021 14:56:39
Either they’re going to absolutely spank us, or it will be the dullest match in creation settled by a fluky goal or iffy penalty (obv scored by United) either way, at the moment I wouldn’t bank on us getting anything out of it.

3.) 26 Apr 2021 17:39:12
We will beat the mancs.

22 Apr 2021 12:32:53
Does anyone else feel like they can’t wait for this season to be over 😂

Feels like since C.V. hit, everything has gone a bit haywire!

Roll on next season, get the fans back in.

🤙.

1.) 22 Apr 2021 13:50:46
haha it does feel like there is a whole lot of crazy going aye lol.

2.) 22 Apr 2021 15:58:15
Honestly, if I wasn't watching my kid grow I'd be perfectly happy being in a medically induced coma for the next 18 months and try life again in 2023.

3.) 22 Apr 2021 16:58:10
It's been an anti climax of a season, but I don't want it to finish early. It was bad enough having that enforced during lockdowns without wishing it upon ourselves.
I still want to watch my team play as often as possible, the habit of a lifetime for me.

4.) 22 Apr 2021 19:18:33
We have to get top 4 otherwise next season will be another drag. 😣.

14 Apr 2021 13:36:44
Any news on where or if Gini is going?

I probably am in the minority but I think he is a great footballer who keeps the ball beautifully and would love him to stay. I know he has had a couple of poor games where he goes missing but one of my favourites I suppose 🤷🏿‍♂️

🤙.

{Ed077's Note - Barcelona seems the most likely right now, but things can change..

1.) 14 Apr 2021 13:44:47
He won’t be staying at Liverpool, Klopp has decided he doesn’t want him. Gini at least stayed fit you can’t say that about any of the 8 who are left.

2.) 14 Apr 2021 15:05:20
Klopp doesn’t half pick Gini a lot considering he doesn’t want him.

3.) 14 Apr 2021 15:35:41
Klopps kind of had to pick Gini a lot, fab and Hendo have been putting shifts in defence, Thiago has been injured, Jones is still a kid and the less said about Kieta the better. Gini has at least been fit and available all season, about his only redeemable feature this season. He’s been played a lot because we have had little choice to.

4.) 14 Apr 2021 14:08:04
Cheers Ed, appreciate it. They seem to have been linked all along but the longer things go with nothing agreed on the more you think they don’t want him or have other priorities. Have read they have financial problems but they obviously will look to strengthen or it wouldn’t be popular in Catalonia!

I don’t know if it is a case of Klopp not wanting him, he plays nearly every week and has captained us this season, it seems more that if everyone was there he wouldn’t start (thinking fab, Thiago and hendo ideal 3) I kind of guessed when we got Thiago that Gini is the odd one out especially with Curtis coming through.

Not knowing him obviously, he doesn’t seem the type like Coutinho or Suarez to agitate for a move, does he want to go? Or is it more of a case that he is exploring options?

🤙.

{Ed077's Note - Barcelona need to generate a lot of funds and probably need to shed some wages off the books first, before adding more. And they still need clarity in a lot of fields.

5.) 14 Apr 2021 17:18:31
Mikey you may be right but I believe Wiji is the most selected outfield player in Klopps whole time as manager here. That surely can’t be down to injuries. I don’t think Wiji is as good or as important to us as Fab and Hendo but he has very Much been a mainstay in that Title and CL winning team. I see lots of people say Origi won us the CL but everyone seems to forget Wiji’s two goals against Barcelona also. For me Wijnaldum when he does leave he can leave with his head held high. He doesn’t float everyone’s boats but he also doesn’t get the respect and appreciation he deserves.

6.) 14 Apr 2021 17:35:25
Gini has suffered with the midfield been torn apart and him having to fill in at DM for a lot of games with Thiago and Jones in front of him. He’s basically playing in a role that doesn’t suit him with 2 players who don’t even know their own roles so he’s been very isolated.
He’s also played a lot of games so is probably tired. We allow Robbo that excuse so why not Gini?
He’s easy to criticise right now because he hasn’t signed a contract but he has been consistently available when called upon and I believe has done his best in a difficult situation.
If he goes I wish him all the best but if he stays we are keeping a solid player and a great professional.

7.) 14 Apr 2021 17:48:34
Gini has to be the most used midfield player over several seasons not just this one.

8.) 14 Apr 2021 19:14:22
I'd love to see him and the club come to a compromise.

{Ed0666's Note - I’m pretty sure he’ll be playing in Italy next season

09 Apr 2021 11:32:17
Massive week for us isn’t it. With the other games going on this weekend teams above us will drop points and we need to capitalise and beat villa tomorrow.

Then the big one against Madrid. Two goals we can get, just have to go for it now.

Nervous before it starts!

🤙.

1.) 09 Apr 2021 12:35:14
If we don’t play wijnaldum or Keita we have a chance at both. If we do play them, i highly doubt it. If that happens then it is on Klopp for constantly giving chances to people who don’t care about the club, i’m worried he’s turning into a bit of a nicey nice RE substitute teacher who all the kids take advantage of.

2.) 09 Apr 2021 14:50:01
Key selections for the Madrid game, imo, are that Milner and Thiago play alongside Fabinho in midfield. I'd also leave Jota out and go with the regular front 3. Yes, I know that Jota brings more of a goal threat and Mane or Bobby currently, but at least we can depend on Mane and Bobby to put work in. Even if they're playing poorly, they won't stop chasing and closing down. That can't be said for Jota.

We have to start the game by getting Madrid's faces, put pressure on Kroos and Modric and not allow them to settle. If we don't do that the game we'll be picked off. So that means taking guys who we can depend on to work to stop Real from getting a foothold in the game. We can bring on Jota if we need him.

In terms of the impact on the Villa selection, I think we have to leave Milner out so we have 100% from him on Wednesday. He is 35, after all. Jones can play instead. We should give Robbo a rest too, but with Tsimikas being out of favour I don't see it. Could rest Mane or Salah, most likely Mane if we do.

3.) 09 Apr 2021 15:07:30
Mane is my favourite player but for me he has to drop out and be rested for a few weeks. Taking out one out of form player for another out of form player in Bobby though doesn’t really solve the problem. Wed will be a massive night for Trent because you can guarantee Real will target him again.

4.) 09 Apr 2021 15:41:06
Something Red, I fully agree with your post. Literally, nothing to add to it as you covered all the bases. I hope Klopp does exactly what you have suggested.

5.) 09 Apr 2021 17:00:31
Winning two games in a row is something unheard of at anfield. Yall crazy bruh.
Also i bet fabinho is dropping to the CB in that madrid game. He will play kabak and fab. Jones thiago and milner. Jota firmino and salah.
Which i think will be the right thing to do. Gini on at 60 to score the required brace.
And origi on at 80 for trent to reclaim himself.

6.) 09 Apr 2021 17:35:51
Why would Klopp put Fabinho back in defence?

7.) 09 Apr 2021 17:43:08
Flash I agree. Why would Klopp put Fab back at centre half. Sadly after he did it in the 2nd half of the Real game midweek I don’t think we can rule anything out. I really hope Fab stays in midfield though.

8.) 09 Apr 2021 17:46:08
I’d play all 4 against Madrid. It’s an All or nothing mountain to climb.

9.) 09 Apr 2021 21:21:32
I’d drop Mane for the game and go Fabinho, Thiago and Milner in midfield, with Milner being assigned to putting some early “reducers” on Kroos and Modric. And only change him as soon as he gets a yellow for Gini. Playing all four attackers will give Madrid the game as we need to be effective in midfield to win.

The main thing is that Keita does not get on that pitch as he was hopeless.

{Ed001's Note - why Gini? He was as bad as Keita.}

10.) 09 Apr 2021 21:42:36
It’s quite possible that Madrid will play on the counter.
We don’t have to go gung-ho, at least not for the first hour.
Origi has to get at least 30 minutes for me, get amongst them and go aerial and direct if necessary.
But if we concede first, it becomes hugely difficult.
I don’t fancy the Liverpool central defence though unfortunately.

11.) 09 Apr 2021 23:18:03
Agree with LiverpoolFC8. This is an all or nothing game. Might as well play all 4.

12.) 10 Apr 2021 00:50:53
Unfortunately Juicer Origi is yet another squad player who cannot be relied upon, who in all but one half of football this season has spent every single game walking around the pitch aimlessly. The divide between who can be trusted and who cannot is so clear yet we have so many players who are lingering around like a bad smell.

Absolutely agree. Nevilles rants, while funny most of the time, boarder on inciting riots against Utd owners.

What’s worse is carragher tries to copy him, needs reeling in both of them.

{Ed0666's Note - They are reveling in their status of poster boys of the de-escalation of the ESL. It’s one thing to condone a breakaway league but to condone beating up policemen is another thing altogether.

How does one find the hobknob for such occasion? I have always been a particular fan, especially the chocolate swirl said buiscuit leaves behind

🤔.

{Ed001's Note - the caramel chocolate digestive is good, as the caramel melts and holds the biccie together.}
