This one is to the Eds or anyone on here. I keep seeing comments that Julian Alvarez and his partner hated living in the UK and won’t be coming back. I keep asking for sources and I’m just getting “trust me bro”. Is there anything concrete to confirm this was ever said? Not saying that Alvarez will be joining us, just something I keep seeing that nobody can source.

Hi everyone, long time lurker, first time poster. Thanks to the Eds for all of their hard work and updates.
I've been following the Akira theories re the World-Class striker for the past few days. Could they mean Harry Kane? Apparently he's keen on a return to the Premier League and there's rumoured interest from Bayern Munich in Gakpo.
I know that he doesn't fit your typical FSG signing but there's a real lack of world class strikers at the moment.

@Iamnoonoo - Where did you hear that Lautaro Martinez doesn’t speak English?
I work with a couple of Argentinians and I asked them if Lautaro can speak English, and they said yes he can.

Have to agree with Ed on Semenyo. I watched a lot of Bournemouth towards the end of the season and I’d previously believed Semenyo to be their star player. But I thought he was pretty poor with Kluivert and Evanilson standing out much more.

He only had 1 year left on his contract, so £18m with add ons feels fair. I see the usual suspect accounts on Twitter are trying to drive the narrative we’ve been robbed, but I’d be interested to know if a backup GK with 1 year left on their deal has ever been sold for more than £18m inclusive.
