Al hilal have tonight approached Liverpool regards Nunez, same terms as January believed to be in the region of 60-70million.
Nunez is believed to be holding out for athletico Madrid but tentative enquiries from them were for a loan to buy.
Liverpool reluctantly are looking at a loan but has to have an obligation to buy - minimum of 50 million quoted.

I thought the ‘Doubting Thomases’ had gone off on their summer holidays.
No doubt (excuse the pun) they’ll be back in August telling us that Hughes is crap and the club has wasted money as soon as we drop our first point.
You’d have to say, with the arrival of Mamardashvili and Frimpong the probable arrival of Kerkez and Wirtz and the possible arrival of Martinez, who incidentally scored 9 CL goals in 14 games this season, and, dare I say perhaps another DM, it would be quite a transfer window.

Very much doubt isak to Liverpool happens, too many things outside of our control. Wilson is leaving so they are looking to replace him. Their first choice in pedro has rejected them for Chelsea (who’s strategy of let’s just buy all the players so no one else can needs looking at)
The market for a 20+ goal a season striker is so sparse at the minute. There aren’t many available and a lot of teams need a striker.
I think Liverpool will offload a couple with an agreement with Napoli for around 50 million for Nunez and end up with ekitike. I don’t see osimhen when he could potentially miss 6 games at AFCON when Salah is also missing.

He won’t have been charged with drug offences yet, when in custody he will have had blood samples taken which will have been forensically taken and sent to a lab to be analysed. Although this is a high profile incident this still takes time what will come is further charge (s) once this comes back saying how much of what ever was taken was in his system.
I imagine that due the the scale of the victims involved there will be a hell of a lot more charges to come and a heavy custodial is very very likely.

Although about the mancs this is a good read. I had this conversation with one of my good friends who is a Utd fan and I likened it to us selling coutinho. The money from that obviously went on van dijk and Allison and the club haven’t looked back since. Although it’s been nice to see their downfall it could be the reset they need but let’s be realistic their recruitment has been poor at best so would not necessarily work.
