Quick question Ed's. What is the point of FFP.
We've seen with Chelsea that a transfer ban had meant them not suffering Ada result of it but just mitigating the ban and now pumping two windows worth of money into the next available window.
I know Chelsea ban wasn't FFP breach but
Surely any ban should Be in line with FFP and money generated in the banned period be discounted Otherwise the richer clubs just defer when they invest not if they invest.
Will Man City get transfer related ban if found guilty of FFP breach and if so what's the point as they will do same as Chelsea have.

{Ed002's Note - You seem to be rather confused trying to mix FFP and other transgressions. The issue for which The FA and Chelsea were charged relates to many English sides (including Liverpool) and if The FA lose their recent appeal FIFA could go after the other clubs as well. FFP deals with clubs living within their means and avoiding turning out to be another Portsmouth. Chelsea has money to spend not just because of the sale of Hazard but because of the sale of players in January and £75M worth of sales already agreed for the summer, and there being a number of sales yet to come. Manchester City are not going to get a transfer ban. So there is no issue with FFP.}

Are they already sold players or just options to turn loans permanent? Just a more general point regarding player sales do you think we will see a lot of clubs pull out of deals due to financial problems?

I guess an example I am thinking of is Moses.

{Ed002's Note - They are already sold players not options. Moses is not one.}

What I’m trying to understand is what is the point of a transfer ban if you just bide you’re time and double your spend in the next window. Should the two not work in tandem (Ie ffp being based on a time period) so that the ban actually has an impact?

{Ed002's Note - (a) It is completely unrelated to FFP. (b) FFP is based on a time period.}
