Hi Ed002 hope all’s well mate. Today I see us linked with Antony and apparently in negotiations for him, are you aware of such a scenario or twitter nonsense? Thanks in advance.

Oraujo

{Ed002's Note - I am not aware of any approach from Liverpool - and Sarah has agreed to stay.}

1.) 14 Jul 2022 22:21:36
Thanks mate.

2.) 14 Jul 2022 23:16:08
I always fancied Sarah. Uesed to play spin the bottle with her at teenage discos, happy times?.

3.) 15 Jul 2022 02:55:01
Is Sarah the Egyptian equivalent of a Karen? Just kidding! Doubt we're in for another attacker when we're well stocked at the moment. I think they are just trying to drive the price up, so that MU has to pay more for him.

4.) 15 Jul 2022 08:00:21
I’d be quite happy going with the squad we have and thought Antony would be odd as Salah has committed thank god. Although the 5 sub rule you could argue it but a lot of money for a sub lol.

5.) 15 Jul 2022 09:41:06
I can just imagine a teenage Barry in his Stayin Alive outfit, full head of hear included. Sarah wouldn't have stood a chance with those moves.

6.) 15 Jul 2022 10:37:01
Maybe we are changing formation to a 2 : 2: 6?

7.) 15 Jul 2022 11:25:40
If i was a betting man, i'd say that Mo will desire one last big move, like the other older greats tend to, and could be off in 1 or 2 years, for a decent fee. In that case, we would need a rotational player, as surely the amount of games Mo plays has to be gradually reduced if he is going to play until he's 37/ 8.

8.) 15 Jul 2022 13:34:56
Lots of sources seem to be saying we are in talks to sign Antony from Ajax. Can't say I've seen him play. I know you said you haven't heard anything so do you think this is all talk to get man united to make their move?

{Ed002's Note - There are several clubs with a declared interest in Antony.}

9.) 15 Jul 2022 15:04:17
Staying Alive was a tad before my time Stuie BUT if you had said MC Hammer pantaloons you'd be on the money??.

10.) 15 Jul 2022 19:02:15
"You can't touch this", Barry.

11.) 16 Jul 2022 07:04:04
You can't ArAy but Sarah can?.

In amongst all the talk of Liverpool not getting gems before they move and then paying big money, can we take a moment to applaud the signing of Stefan Bajcetic who we signed from Celta Vigo for 220 thousand euros from Celta Vigo and now looks to be in our first team and possibly here to stay. New contract valid until 2027 ??.

Oraujo

1.) 26 Jan 2023 21:42:08
Hear, hear. ??.

2.) 26 Jan 2023 21:50:48
Early days yet we’ve said the same words on plenty of players and turned out to be nothing!
I hope and pray he’s the next big thing.

3.) 26 Jan 2023 21:57:26
Me too Jay, he is a much welcomed bright spark in a pretty dull time for us as supporters, he certainly seems to have the drive to make it. I for one will be in his corner!

4.) 26 Jan 2023 22:12:46
He is the perfect example of what I have been talking about a lot recently.

Liverpool don’t need to be paying 60 million or 100 million on talented players when the need becomes apparent. They need better scouting and better long term planning. Looking at the squad from that perspective and it’s pretty promising.

5.) 26 Jan 2023 22:27:07
Doak and Gordon at the same level too. three players for our squad for pittance.

6.) 26 Jan 2023 22:48:36
We have said this about other youngsters but there is definitely something different about him. For him to come into the team at this time when even more experienced heads are struggling and show the calmness and quality he has is a breath of fresh air.
Let’s hope he continues his progression with us he looks a real talent.

{Ed025's Note - he does BP but lets hope that if he does have a couple of poor games or even mediocre ones, that he does not get the same treatment that harvey elliott has mate, i thought it was disgraceful..

7.) 27 Jan 2023 03:08:58
Harvey has played every league game this season. No other player in the team has done that. That Klopp guy usually gets it right so I have a feeling the Harvey haters are just keyboard warriors.

Kid can be special if he buckles down and applies himself. And he seems to have a good head on his shoulders - deserves our support.

8.) 27 Jan 2023 04:51:40
Lets not get carried away he’s started about 3 games. Should be first choice until the end of the season though and we’ll see where he is. Wouldn’t use him as an excuse to not spend big on a defensive midfielder.

9.) 27 Jan 2023 07:06:59
Delighted for him, he seen a spot in team where its up for grabs and he has went for it.
V difficult for a youngster to come threw at a club like lfc, they judged right away slaughtered for mistakes that envitably will happen a young player. Much easier to come threw at a club like Brighton, bit more under the radar.

10.) 26 Jan 2023 23:48:07
Yes BP couldn't agree more. and you ED025, for some of the supposed best fans in the world some of us (be it the minority) have treated our youngsters very poorly, Curtis Jones especially! often the more negative side of the internet unfortunately.

{Ed025's Note - these are young lads trying to learn their trade oraujo and have stepped in to bale out the more experienced under performers in your side. They should be applauded for stepping up to the plate imo and how are they supposed to get experience if they don’t play?..

11.) 26 Jan 2023 23:48:34
@Ed025 - the Elliot model. The ones were the fans started off by getting right behind him and then a little bit later started to get their knives out.

{Ed025's Note - not a good look for the club WDW and I’m amazed because he seems to work hard and give his all when he plays..

12.) 27 Jan 2023 03:39:12
Agreed Ed025. Supporters only support players when they're playing well. When they inevitably hit a rough patch of form, they suddenly need to be sold or loaned, and we shouldn't have bought them in the first place.

{Ed025's Note - confidence is everything to a younger guy Drac and his treatment had been appalling if you ask me mate..

13.) 27 Jan 2023 04:30:15
That’s right 25, it won’t take much for the worlds best fans to turn on Stefan if he turns in a couple stinkers.

{Ed025's Note - let’s hope they don’t faith. These guys are the future of the club and it’s just not on..

14.) 27 Jan 2023 08:59:58
Eliott is in his first full season with us after missing one through a bad injury the only criticism i’ve seen him get is he’s not ready to play as a midfielder yet. he had a great spell and has shown what he can do at times. He’s a very good player for his age. Bajcetic i’ve seen no criticism of. The Jones stuff is different though he can’t be lumped in with them, this is his 3rd full season almost 100 games and he’s shown nothing he’s still treated like he’s breaking through and he’s 18.

{Ed001's Note - you are joking right? Elliott has been a scapegoat on here after every game pretty much.}

15.) 27 Jan 2023 09:08:28
Yes Bajcetic will certainly bring some good money in when he’s sold, so it’s all good ?.

16.) 27 Jan 2023 08:32:46
Dont find myself agreeing with many Toffees 25 ?.

{Ed025's Note - neither do i mate.. :)

17.) 27 Jan 2023 10:15:21
Jones will only be turning 22 years old in a few weeks time, is learning a new position, and had his development curtailed by a horrific eye injury. He still has plenty of time on his side and I wouldn't mind him as a squad option as of now.

18.) 27 Jan 2023 09:55:46
Irish rover ???? u fishing? ?.

19.) 27 Jan 2023 11:08:21
OneKiss must be new here. Elliott has been destroyed on these bords this season for weeks on end. Bajcetic? Not so uch BUT trust me, his time will come when those supporting him now will turn on him as soon as he has a couple of poor games. Heaven forbid a young player goes through a rough spell cos clearly, that has NEVER happened before.

As for Jones, people have been out to get him sold for 2 years now despite him being injured via freak injuries and freak accidents (a concussion and an eye injury) and has not had the run of games required to effectively judge him IMO cos we all know what he was like when he broke thu and bossed the whole Everton first team midfield off the pitch in the FA Cup game with a belter of a winner, so based on your slamming of him, you clearly are not new here.

So you may not be going after Elliott nor Baj right now BUT seeing the way you've gone after Jones in the same post, it won't be long before you come for both of them when the time comes. Just saying.

20.) 27 Jan 2023 12:15:03
Destroying any player without clear proof they are intentionally damaging the club or playing badly on purpose is somewhat pointless and stupid in my opinion. Who's doing it on purpose, what defender wants to concede, what striker wants to stop scoring? What potential quadruple winning player wants to finish mid table and without a trophy?

Even with the proof I can't say I'd agree, does make me wonder where all the vitriol and anger used to go before places such as this and social media.

You don't even have to fake support to lift them, just don't spew hate, what single positive outcome will it generate?

Just to be clear this isn't in response to any particular poster, though if you feel it's you, well it probably is, and, well, you probably have overreacted.

21.) 27 Jan 2023 13:54:45
In order of people getting most stick this season on here I would say:
Number one definitely Pep.
Two, Fabs
Three Trent
Four VVD, Elliot, Hendo are all about the same.

None of its Elliot’s fault imo, he’s doing is best and is being let down by others.

15 Jan 2023 08:39:05
Hi Eds do we have any kind of timeframe for Arthur’s return? Seen a bit about Jota and Diaz but not much about him.

Oraujo

{Ed001's Note - he is penciled in to return at the start of next month.}

1.) 15 Jan 2023 09:39:24
Thanks Ed001! Hope he gets a chance to get his career back on track, god knows we just as much as hin could do with it right now. The guy deserves a break.

{Ed001's Note - let's hope so.}

2.) 15 Jan 2023 10:17:55
Very brave of you to mention Arthur and break in the same paragraph.

13 Jan 2023 11:02:59
With Wolves signing both Lemina and Gomes do we think they’ll have a midfielder departing this window Ed? Perhaps Nunes to us? Hopeful ?.

Oraujo

{Ed001's Note - Nunes can't come to us. Why do we have to keep pointing this out multiple times a day? He has already played for all the clubs he can this season in Europe. If one does go, it would be more likely to be Neves to Barca.}

1.) 13 Jan 2023 11:23:25
Ooh yeah completely forgot about that! Interested to see how Gomes does for Wolves.

{Ed001's Note - I haven't seen him play yet so I am looking forward to that.}

2.) 13 Jan 2023 12:01:18
Wolves are buying their replacements in advance to allow a bedding in period.

3.) 13 Jan 2023 12:01:44
What odds he signs before the FA cup game and has an absolute blinder against us. That would sum this season up perfectly.

4.) 13 Jan 2023 12:37:49
With Wolves signing two midfielders it's obvious that they will have to sell to us.
With Darwin Nunez now injured, will it be Traore or Podence? ?.

08 Jan 2023 01:48:44
I hate how active this page becomes after a negative result, its laughable! A lot of users feigning Liverpool support perhaps? Makes you wonder. Jesus.

Oraujo

1.) 08 Jan 2023 02:35:27
I agree, Oraujo, but not about the result. We were lucky to get a draw.

2.) 08 Jan 2023 04:03:04
To be fair this isn’t one bad result in isolation, this is a number of poor results and performances following a 6 week break where we were supposed to be fixing our issues after a mediocre first half of the season. Things have actually got worse not better and it’s hard to see any light at the end of the tunnel right now.

3.) 08 Jan 2023 04:33:06
No this isn't just the result a lot of realistic fans will have noticed bar city and bournemouth we have struggled in every game whilst conceedeing the 1st goal in the majority of games since last season. Its lovely when we are winning playing well then we see nice fist pumps an big grins, but unfortunately we are going backwards .

4.) 08 Jan 2023 04:58:41
We look absolutely awful. No two ways about it. Not a chance we make top four if we keep playing like this and new midfielders won't make any difference unless we change our tactics. Its a very hard watch.

5.) 08 Jan 2023 05:50:03
We turning from believers to doubters unfortunately. Feels like something radical needs to happen to stop the rot.

6.) 08 Jan 2023 08:22:46
OP, I think a lot of people have come tintje conclusion that the performances are not and have not been up to scratch near all season long so far. Seriously based on what you have seen this season, where you surprised with the perf last night? If you were then, you have not been paying any attention thus far or you have not been watching us play at all.

Personally, last night was expected cos the way we are playing has not changed one bit so what are people expecting? When Klopp says post game that we did not win enuff challenges which is the most basic thing to do to have any chance of competing in any game, that was code for “We were getting outfought, outworked, outrun and frankly bullied” and this has been the case all season.

If we don’t go back to what made us great as in, hardwork, hard leuning and grit then, expect the sale results and the same reactions. Oh, and no signing is coming to save us either.

7.) 08 Jan 2023 08:29:33
The first team regulars in our squad have been rinsed. Our MF lacks energy and muscle, and it's an off season with the high dose caffeine.
Getting Caicedo this window is essential . Remember 6 home losses on the bounce.

8.) 08 Jan 2023 08:31:48
Gakpo looked strong quick and direct and looks like he will link up well with Robbo. Nunez took his goal exceptionally well and Trent is back to assisting in most games. We are still in the fa cup, the most likely trophy we can win this season. There’s some positives to get those that can’t handle a discussion on how we are playing going on this amazing Sunday morning. Happy Sunday Liverpool fans. Looking forward to when we see some light at the end of the poor performance tunnel which I am hopeful will be soon. Love you all. War Machine.

{Ed025's Note - I must have watched a different game mate..

9.) 08 Jan 2023 08:40:15
Do we actually have any defensive coaches left at the club, I swear the under 18s look more organised than that shower. Very poor show all round from both klopp and the players who are playing like they started playing the game a few months ago. Midfielders just watching opposing players run right by them and expecting someone else to track back or pick up said player. Complete garbage football from players who should know better. Why not just take it right back to basics and concentrate on being defensively solid and worry about winning games from that base. That is leveled squarely at klopp who needs start being a coach again and not a glorified figurehead.

10.) 08 Jan 2023 09:02:02
Thought trent played well last nite. doak lively when he came on, definitely potential there on what we've seen of him. V strong for someone so young.
Fab+hendo v poor, like they running in treacle. rest not great either. wolves played v well and should've won, don't quite know why they not higher in league some v good players.
Without a dramatic and major improvement in us and a new midfielder this month I can't see us getting top4 and madrid will destroy us. 1 top class new midfielder not a silver bullet but would definitely help.

11.) 08 Jan 2023 09:03:33
The team have been crap, there is no getting away from that. I would ask how you could be a Liverpool supporter and not show SOME type of emotion. Maybe some go OTT at times but it’s better that than pretending everything in the garden is rosy and somehow elevating yourself to the higher echelons of supporter.

12.) 08 Jan 2023 09:56:36
the irritating thing for me is when the solutions become - sign this player, get rid of this player, 'x' player can never defend, 'x' player can never score, the owners suck, the manager sucks, replace the cooks.

It's classic anger displacement and detracts from meaningful debate.

13.) 08 Jan 2023 10:19:09
Love it WarMachine, happy sunday to you too! I stated it was a negative result, nor did I say I was happy with recent perfomances. I stated it’s plain sad to see how many seem to revel in us not doing so well. We’re supposed to be Liverpool fans and meant to be the best in the world. Are we just the best in the world when we dominate? There’s more to life than football, cheer up!

14.) 08 Jan 2023 08:37:50
That summary was from watching the 5 minute highlights on you tube Ed025. Now please stop being so negative.

{Ed025's Note - I only tell it like it is WM. Kackpoo was very underwhelming and Trent bar for the great cross to the clown was awful mate. The best keeper in the world was worse than karius and matip was playing statues all game..

15.) 08 Jan 2023 11:03:02
Irish, we have been crap, everything in the garden is not rosy but fans do go OTT. I reckon that Klopp tried to strengthen the midfield (apart from Arthur) in the summer but it didn't happen. Is he waiting for the right players? I hope so because January is a difficult time to do it.

Faith, spot on, mate.
The latest solution is Caceido. He might be the right player but it might be the wrong time. It's pointless fans stamping their feet saying "we want him NOW! "
The same fans did the same with Bissouma and conveniently forget that solution.

16.) 08 Jan 2023 11:22:05
I agree there is more to life than football, I've said so myself many times but we have been diabolical this season and no signs of improvement. Klopp has more than earned the right to try and turn it around but at the moment there doesn't appear to be any change in tactics or approach. At what point do we have to consider it might be time for a change? Please don't think I'm advocating klopp leaving or being sacked. just want to start a debate on people's thoughts.

17.) 08 Jan 2023 11:32:35
Kackpoo - hahahaha awesome Ed025. But I reckon he will be more Jackpot.

Sometimes I feel myself watching the match now solely to see the entertainment Matip brings to the game with his arms, legs and head all moving in opposite directions. I have my own personal game as to how far behind the play he can be when a goal is scored. His record so far is about 500 miles.

{Ed025's Note - I think matip is ok but he was poor last night mate..

18.) 08 Jan 2023 11:32:52
Ed0025 starts with the words 'I only tell it like it is' and then types that nonsense ?.
I'll put it down to banter.

{Ed025's Note - I’m like superman rigsby. I always tell the truth and fight for truth justice and the scouse way…but I can see through lead .. ?

19.) 08 Jan 2023 11:35:27
Oh sorry ed025, I forgot to add. Please stop being negative,

{Ed025's Note - honesty is not negativity mate..

20.) 08 Jan 2023 11:40:03
I agree, Marty. We need to do something differently with the players we have. It's the basics we are struggling with. I don't know how a change of tactics would help though.
Over to you, Norbert.

21.) 08 Jan 2023 11:40:37
I’d say Klopp has earned until the end of next season to turn it around Marty and given we were in the same boat in 2020/ 21 and nearly won the quadruple in 21/ 22 I have a lot of belief he will turn it around. Klopp brings in world class players to the club on his own status Marty. We would need to have a world class replacement lined up if we were to even think about losing him. What do you think?

22.) 08 Jan 2023 11:41:47
Marty. I think the time for change in any profession is when u have somebody to come in who is better than the present person in role.
If anybody can come up with a manager who can constantly get us top4,compete for and win leagues+ champion leagues on half or a third of his competitors budget I'd definitely listen. I can't think of one.

{Ed025's Note - frank lampard?.. ?

23.) 08 Jan 2023 11:46:31
I’m with you ed025 but unfortunately it is to a lot of people these days.

{Ed025's Note - very true mate..

24.) 08 Jan 2023 11:57:36
Yeah, can't say I disagree lads. It's just so frustrating to watch the same thing again and again. Keep the faith and hope that klopp gets fully involved again and starts getting us back to the team we can be.

25.) 08 Jan 2023 12:18:05
We never lead any more because teams have seen through us, Ed0025.

{Ed025's Note - that’s temporary I feel rigsby. And if anyone can sort it out it’s Norbert mate..

26.) 08 Jan 2023 12:24:14
Wow, Ed25. Kackpoo? Who knew, the geezer dies have jokes. Tell me, did you have to consult Tik Tok or did you come up with that on your own? If yes, how long did it take you? Pls, don’t come out of retirement and go into comedy. Just stick with your current day job, mate lol. Trust me on this.

Guys, Ed25 is just here to stir the pot. Pay no attention to him nor his opinion on any LFC players or signings. A guy who has been as wrong on LFC signings as much as a weatherman does on a daily basis regarding the forecast, need not be taken seriously, just like the weatherman lol.

{Ed025's Note - I studied him yesterday oli and the name just come to me mate. There is of course a little devilment in my summary but it’s better than reading all this “we are world class “ claptrap.. ?

27.) 08 Jan 2023 14:10:19
Ed25. I think we be as well with christine lampard!

{Ed025's Note - your probably right digger.. :)

28.) 08 Jan 2023 14:29:42
No way. You actually study players, Ed25? Do you a certificate proving you’re good at it or did you just make one for yourself?

{Ed025's Note - i am a well respected journalist oli, well in our house i am mate.. :)

22 Oct 2022 12:00:43
Hi Ed001 hope you are well mate. A lot was made of Bajcetic in preseason and I for one am surprised not to have seen him feature at all this season with midfield injuries and loss of form at the beginning more so than now for Hendo, Fab etc. what’s the feeling around him at the club and do you expect he may break through or too soon?

Oraujo

{Ed001's Note - he is just a kid mate, he will get his time when it is right for him. He is very highly rated but he has only just moved into midfield and is still learning the role. It is one thing playing it in pre-season friendlies and under-21s, but totally different in games where it matters.}

1.) 22 Oct 2022 17:13:43
Appatently he got the run around against accrington but will only help in his development and valuable experience, ed do you know if dominic corness is highly rated at the club? as he has been training with the 1st team, cheers .

{Ed001's Note - they do like Corness, though being left-footed he does have an advantage in standing out as they are so much rarer.}

Good on you BP. Nice to see a sensible head! Fabs isn’t suddenly crap guys, the tactics and lack of legs around him are leaving him exposed and fighting a losing battle. Same as how people say TAA is crap cause he can't defend since Elliots been RCM and doesn’t give him the protection Henderson (used to be able to, unsure now? ) its a dead argument. Fabinho carried us last season even scoring a handful of goals to drag us up, next season he’s finished? Please! We can't judge anyone in this team at the moment its a strange old season. We benefit playing games regularly and not with a world cup mid way, people expect that to have improved us but the breaks never do, surely we know that of our own team by now? We build rhythm and play better each game, international breaks always undone us let alone world cups. But yeah, Fabs who was one of the best DMs going about 1-2 seasons ago is now finished. Jesus.

{Ed002's Note - FSG are hoping for a counter bid to that from Sheikh Sumaction from Sheikh Yerbouti.}
