Not really a super star rumour but I will let you all know the information I have been told by my son who plays at Chorley and plays with Luke chambers brother. Apparently Luke will be going on loan to Wigan for the remainder of the season. Like I said not really massive news but just sharing what I’ve been told.
Cheers.

All news and info appreciated no matter how big or small minadeano ??.

2.) 08 Jan 2024 21:17:33
Chorley where people go to fight, great little town and used to have a good Friday night there every now and then, I doubt Harry's Bar, The Swan with 2 necks are still operating, I think the George is and also the Adelphi.

There was an independent movie made by one of the Emmerdale actors, who hails from Chorley, called Chorley where people go to fight. It's about how people from Chorley fight adversity rather than each other.

3.) 11 Jan 2024 11:57:48
Fair play - Paul Joyce just tweeted this same news today.

4.) 12 Jan 2024 13:01:59
Well done Minadeano. Lovely rumour that turned out to be true. 6 reliable points have been added to your account.

12 Dec 2022 17:23:11
Seeing reports that Liverpool have reached a pre contract agreement for Enzo Fernandez for June 2023. Any one got any reliable information on this? Would love it to be true!

Minadeano

1.) 13 Dec 2022 01:38:59
@OP you need to speak to Ed02 or VVVV.

{Ed002's Note - He is contracted to another team.}

20 Jun 2022 09:45:54
My boss who is a massive red and has a lot of inside information coming out of Anfield told me this morning we are toying with the idea of bringing Gini back. Personally I would love him back. Not sure if this is true just passing on what I’ve been told. Y. N. W. A.

Minadeano

1.) 20 Jun 2022 10:06:56
Hope not. Never considered him as good enough for Liverpool.

2.) 20 Jun 2022 10:11:42
Thanks but no thanks. He was good at times but I don't think he was half the player most people thought he was. Team needs to evolve. If we buy a mid they need to be a young dynamic BTB midfielder who can play a few positions. There was a reason we targeted Tchouameni. He could cover Fabi but was also comfortable at attacking too.

3.) 20 Jun 2022 10:20:46
Was all over the Twatter-sphere last night as well.

4.) 20 Jun 2022 10:24:58
I can't reply with a GIF on here, so you'll have to use your imagination.

{insert The Office, Steve Carrell shouting "Please God, No! " below}.

5.) 20 Jun 2022 10:30:55
So if true! Klopp tried to sell him for ages because he wasn’t good enough then moved to PSG not good enough there then we sign him back on loan. Good lord it really is crazy season.
My question is who would we prefer Gini or keita?

6.) 20 Jun 2022 11:39:20
Jurgen loves him as per his comments, and this makes sense as a stop gap until Hey Jude .

Whilst he may not be everyones cup of tea, how any real fan can dislike Gini is beyond me. We won the F lot with him on board.

He is unlikely to help us beat Real or Spurs, but he is a brilliant cog in the machine and would require zero bedding in time, and have a lot to prove.

7.) 20 Jun 2022 11:41:17
Your boss is probably just reading the gossip online. Ed002 mentioned below Gni will be moving elsewhere. If he does return to England, a Newcastle return would probably be a good fit.

{Ed002's Note - And not out of the question - they are one of the three sides who have declared an interest.}

8.) 20 Jun 2022 12:03:44
Thank you Ed002 for responding. So happy you are back. You have LOTS of support here.

9.) 20 Jun 2022 12:22:17
Yawn not another Suarez / Coutinho is coming back story. Tomorrow it'll be Keita swap for Gigi and mbappe.

10.) 20 Jun 2022 12:47:42
Selling us short there Remzy lad. Now if PSG were to throw in a couple of bags of crisps. we'd have a deal.

11.) 20 Jun 2022 15:00:14
“Never considered him as good enough for Liverpool. ”

Won the league and CL with him as a mainstay in midfield but not good enough for Liverpool?

4 people actually agreed with him.

Do people actually think about what they post?

12.) 20 Jun 2022 15:51:33
Ginger lfc: "i think i'll log in to a discussion forum, where people can share opinions"
People: *share opinions*
Ginger lfc: "well that's not what i signed up"

13.) 20 Jun 2022 15:52:59
Do you Ginger?! Because I said it 100 times and I will say it again. Gini was the best at doing disaperring acts. He was invisible for 95% of his games with the club. Only turned up for the big games and that is why as a club we hadn't won nothing since 2005.because we didn't do as well in the not so big games. Most overated player ever.

14.) 20 Jun 2022 16:24:38
I don’t think people are “overrating” Gini, more coming to his defence against some of the needless and ott criticism of him.

The guy won trophies with us and left years ago, I just don’t get the hate. ?‍♂️.

15.) 20 Jun 2022 16:58:19
So Gini, who won the league and CL with Liverpool, but who isn’t good enough for Liverpool, also disappeared for 95% of games?!

So basically Liverpool won the title and CL with 10 men on the pitch?

I didn’t think your original statement could get any worse, but lo and behold….

06 Jun 2022 18:44:45
Would anyone on here have any idea of what fee Benfica are asking for Nunez? I’ve read reports that we’re definitely interested but are not prepared to get into a bidding war. I certainly hope we can work our magic on this one 🤞🏻.

Minadeano

{Ed002's Note - I would not hold your breath.}

1.) 06 Jun 2022 19:29:24
Regrettably he’s probably going to United. Hopefully he’ll join their graveyard of failed strikers.

2.) 06 Jun 2022 20:24:14
Ed in you're opinion are we more inclined to pursue players who have potential at the more affordable range as apposed to finished articles or ridiculous priced.

{Ed002's Note - It is the players that are important.}

3.) 06 Jun 2022 21:12:34
Hi Ed, hope you’re keeping well? Are we interested in any forwards in particular, seems like the majority of names mentioned like Nunez, Raphinha, Nkunku and Dembele are seemingly of no interest or headed elsewhere. Not sure if the list has been covered already or you could give a brief outline.

{Ed002's Note - Of those, every club in Europe would take Nunez - but Liverpool will not stretch to him. Raphinha would be of interest but is in talks with another side. Nkunku is of interest to many, but a move to Liverpool is not on the cards. Dembele is of interest.}

4.) 06 Jun 2022 21:48:06
Sounds like at least one, if not all parties are disinterested in the possibility of Nunez to Liverpool.

5.) 06 Jun 2022 22:21:51
Sounds like we need to find more forwards to ask about chaps after this good summary from Ed002.

6.) 06 Jun 2022 23:56:57
Word is that Raphinha has said he has no interest in joining us and only wants Barca.

Notwithstanding that, imagine not being interested in Nunez or Nkunku but taking an interest in a crock like Dembele. Utter facepalm moment there. It would be hilarious if it wasn’t for the fact it’s probably true.

7.) 07 Jun 2022 02:34:36
Who said we don’t have any interest in Nkunku or Nunez? It seems that we have but that we have placed a value on them - certainly on Nunez, that we are not prepared to exceed and which might be exceeded by other clubs who place a different value on the player.

Imagine how stupid we would look to everybody running the club on a sound financial footing. It almost makes you wonder how we got to 3 cup finals (out of three competitions entered) and were, in effect, one goal from Aston Villa in the last match of the season away from winning the PL.

These are dark days indeed for the club.

8.) 06 Jun 2022 23:46:18
Thanks for the info Ed (even if it’s bad news)
I’m telling you reds, right winger incoming and Salah through the middle 🤦🏻‍♂️.

9.) 07 Jun 2022 10:11:40
Baffles me that year on year we have naysayers honestly upset with how we go about our transfer business and when the season is in full flow…. they don’t seem as gobby.

Nunez looks like a Torres level player to me. He’s one I would love to go for, but if we can’t afford it we will have to struggle on with a side who many feel are the best in the world.

I mean, we are an Everton penalty in the last minute away from being a domestic treble winning side.

{Ed001's Note - obviously a relegation battle must be looming for next season then when you put it like that! I don't get why people are so stressed about transfers when Klopp extended. That is the only thing that matters.}

10.) 07 Jun 2022 10:19:41
We’re 12/ 1 to sign dembele
We’re 6/ 4 joint favourites to sign Nunez
We’re 3/ 1 for raphinha
According to ed002 we’ve no chance with Nunez and raphinha so dembele got to be worth £20 flutter 🤣🤣🤣🤑.

11.) 07 Jun 2022 11:05:32
Missing out on the big two trophies by such fine margins does this to you. Feeling anxious about how we will make that marginal gain through recruitment is why we call it "silly season "right? .

12.) 07 Jun 2022 19:17:59
It’s silly season because people are stupid.
How many people lamented the fact we didn’t sign Saul Niguez or Sancho, before that Pepe or Fekir.

Every year we are told we are being left behind because Arsenal, Everton, United and Spurs are spending cash to correct massive errors previously made.
We don’t require root and branch surgery every window because we have a staggeringly high success rate with our signings.

Massive expenditure is equated with guaranteed success for some people, yet year on year it doesn’t pan out like that…. and yet we endure the same bleating.

Paul Joyce is reporting that Virgil is contemplating his future at Liverpool and has met with his agent today to discuss things and that Man City are seriously interested. Really hope there is nothing in this whatsoever!

Minadeano

{Ed0666's Note - This sounds like crazy talk. Didn’t he just sign a new contract extension recently? He would never go to City he’d be vilified.

1.) 30 May 2022 19:32:02
I certainly hope you are right ED 😩.

2.) 30 May 2022 19:37:57
Nat Phillips and Konate at the back for the next 10 years, zero goals conceded in that time. We'll be fine.

3.) 30 May 2022 19:44:55
This is completely made up, Paul Joyce has said nothing of the sort.

4.) 30 May 2022 19:46:22
He wrote on his Twitter he loves his club! I call b#%#%# and fake account.

5.) 30 May 2022 19:43:49
What about Rhys Williams 😉.

6.) 30 May 2022 19:48:21
Rubbish.

7.) 30 May 2022 19:50:15
I was text by a fellow red, don’t know if it’s blag or not I’m not on twitter so I’m not sure, just thought I would ask on here to see if anyone had heard.

{Ed0666's Note - no worries mate. Joyce is a respected journo and if he’d have actually made that claim there would be mass hysteria in these parts.

8.) 30 May 2022 20:03:14
It's a load of bollox. You're having your chain yanked feller.

9.) 30 May 2022 20:19:39
Complete and utter bull s h I t.

10.) 30 May 2022 20:27:23

11.) 30 May 2022 20:29:30
I smell a massive pile of bull.

12.) 30 May 2022 20:31:55
Cost a lot to buy vvd after just signing new contract, any player that wants to leave fxck off and don't let the door smack you on the way out .

13.) 30 May 2022 20:51:29
Cool story, bro.

14.) 30 May 2022 20:54:39
Even if it were true, we'd never sell to a rival like City. Man United maybe.

15.) 30 May 2022 22:59:56
And we’re off …. 😁.

16.) 31 May 2022 02:20:07
Yes, this one definitely starts the silly season off.

Might be an unpopular one but. I would quite happily take coutinho back. I think Klopp would get the best from him and he can create chances out of nothing and we definitely need a playmaker like him at the moment.

Minadeano

1.) 05 Jan 2022 19:20:56
Not a Klopp type of player anymore, doesn't press, doesn't track back, can't tackle, and flits in and out of a game.

{Ed0666's Note - I think Couts offers more than klopp

2.) 05 Jan 2022 19:52:32
He used to create chances out of nothing, now he just creates nothing.

3.) 05 Jan 2022 20:58:41
I've no doubt he could still have an impact for us, but I think that ship has long sailed.
Shame, but it was all his own choice - and Klopp warned him what was likely to happen.

4.) 05 Jan 2022 21:22:37
I think whoever signs him on loan will be a gamble because even if you’re only paying half his wages they are huge and he’s played hardly any football for a couple of years now. The premier league isn’t really the league to come into to find your feet.

Saying that I might be talking b#llo##s and he signs for someone hits the ground running and has a stormer like Lingaard did last Jan for West Ham.

5.) 05 Jan 2022 21:53:15
He wanted to leave and he left. Don’t let the door smack you on the a*se.

His form for us trailed away in his last 12 - 18 months. He turned into a one trick pony - drop the shoulder, cut inside and leather if from 30 yards to increasingly little effect.

I’d be unhappy for him to come back and block the path of one or two of the youngsters. As has been said he isn’t a JK type player anyway.

6.) 05 Jan 2022 23:38:44
We couldn’t afford him even if we wanted him.

{Ed0666's Note - I bet we could afford him on a 6 month loan.

7.) 06 Jan 2022 04:24:39
Jotaforehead, sounds as tho you are talking about Naby! 😂.

8.) 06 Jan 2022 06:15:27
If we sign him this month, I hope its for nothing, no signing fee, 0 wages as he'll basically spend until August getting fit enough to step onto the paddock. OK maybe not 0 wages as he is a pro and needs to train, but shivers, the dude is miles away from contributing in our team.

9.) 06 Jan 2022 10:31:54
Cou is the past the past and should stay exactly where he is as in, in the past.

10.) 06 Jan 2022 11:52:51
Aside from all the other issues, he simply isn’t what we need.

11.) 07 Jan 2022 02:15:51
Aside from some Eds and many posters calling him the "one trick pony" when he was with us (and rightly so), I've always thought that Coutinho thrived best when Firmino was linking up with him. Now Firmino is not at the same level as before and Coutinho is certainly not either. It takes time, and sometimes a lot of time, to get your confidence back at the top. This is not the time for us to be serving as a rehabilitation center for players who turned their back on us, even if you let the past go. We need quick solutions that will hit the ground running, to get our campaign back on track and threatening ManC. I'm already fuming with high wage earners that are mostly ineffective (Keita and Thiago), and the last thing we need is another one.

04 Jan 2022 10:31:21
I’m not going to lie I’m a bit worried about the team we are going to put out against Arsenal in the cup. Obviously no Salah, mane or kieta Bobby has C.V. and so does Ali and Matip. Minamino injured and origi as well. To say we are thin on the ground is an understatement.

Minadeano

1.) 04 Jan 2022 10:38:20
-------------This needs to go the the Match Posts page--------------

2.) 04 Jan 2022 11:17:03
The fortunate thing is that our next game is Shrewsbury in the Cup. I guess we go as strong as possible against Arsenal. No doubt they will be at full strength, so we just have to find a way of staying in the game and hopefully be still in with a chance in the return fixture when hopefully we can muster a few C.V. and injured bodies back. Its all we can do!

3.) 04 Jan 2022 12:28:52
Pretty much agree, IR. it’s the first leg so no need to start chasing the tie from the off. Stay in the tie till we get bodies back for the second leg.

4.) 04 Jan 2022 14:42:06
I’ve just heard all of our goalkeepers have C.V.! So if that’s true then surely our games will be postponed?

5.) 04 Jan 2022 15:23:54
I Predicted this a week ago on here. Let’s see if it comes true. A timely C.V. outbreak soon as afcon starts.

6.) 04 Jan 2022 16:42:07
Minadeano if that is the case then, the game has to be postponed, no?

7.) 04 Jan 2022 17:41:14
Olired I’m not really sure tbh, look at Villa against us last season in the same competition they were forced to play the kids in that game.

8.) 04 Jan 2022 18:04:54
I've heard Neco can cover front 3 and goalie?

9.) 04 Jan 2022 18:07:27
I’ve said before that I’m indifferent to the domestic cups in context of the wider season and more important competitions and in standing by that.

I don’t understand the Barcelona link I really don’t, hasn’t the Vice President come out and said they need 500 million euros to survive? Surely signing Salah on a free would require a hefty signing on fee and massive wages?

West derby, I agree wholeheartedly with your reply. This is a rumours page that far to many people think they run and what they say is absolute gospel, when in fact they have about as much clue as the rest of us about what transfers will and won’t be sanctioned. It’s the same people the jump on posts with try the search function or RTPS.
