I don’t post often, but I know that there are older and wiser heads than mine here just as much as there are younger and more knowledgeable ones, so amidst the rumours about his future may I gently remind everyone to just appreciate Mo Salah whilst he’s a Liverpool player!
As a conversation starter, at this point, is there anyone who doesn’t have him in their all time LFC XI.?

There probably is, not because people don't rate him, but because he has some fair competition.
Rush, Barnes and Kenny are go to for most people's all time XIs I reckon, and that realistically leaves only one slot between Salah, Fowler, Liddell, Hunt, Beardsley and probably a couple of others. Salah certainly is in the argument, but it's not an automatic choice.
No reflection on him not being good, just a reflection on how good our history is.

Ornstein reported this week that he’s heard murmurs that Salah wants to stay at LFC.
I suppose he has a choice between staying and plying in PL and CL and still being in contention for Balon D’or or semi retirement and lots more money with no chance of a Balon D’or.

He’s simply too good to play in Saudi. 14 G/ A in 12 premier league games so far.

Well, judging from stories appearing in the press (no idea how credible they are) about how Gerrard, Henderson and Firmino are not doing well and regretting their moves to the Saudi League, it would be wise for Salah to have a serious look before making the jump. But I admit the shine and attraction of money is too strong for some. You never know.

There are thousands more Egyprians who come to watch Salah train with his natial teammates than there are at theses Saudi League grounds so Salah ain't trying to do any of that, IMO.
He still wants play at the top level and has ambitions to win another PL/ CL along with the Balon d'Or. No chance of any of that happening so I think he could stay. I hope so cos he is an absolute LFC monument, IMO.

I was chatting to Dejan Lauren’s hairdresser who told me Mo had just popped in for a tidy up before the Brentford match………Apparently he said to her I want to play into my 40s at Liverpool…. she said they will make a statue of you in the gym and he said “all I really want is to smash City “⚽️
The salon will offer 30% discount if Mo scores however I don’t have any contact information as she rang me sorry.
Proud to have Mo as part of our history but not yet still loads to do…….

I think it's fair to say I am not his biggest fan. I personally wouldn't be too bothered if he left.
I appreciate what he's done for us but at the same time he's cost us goals and points where a simple pass to Mane for example would have resulted in the 3 points.
Over the last few seasons he just seemed determined to score only by beating the keeper by shooting as close to him as possible. A few curlers in to the top corners and we would be playing champions league this season.
To be fair he has added assists to his game s.

The evidence is out there. You can literally watch stuff live or on social media.
Look how Mane used to get upset coz of salad. There's literally 20 + times a season where Salah cost us points because he was too selfish to pass.
Again I'll say I am happy he's added assists to his game now.

So if he cost us one point 20 times a season, our league record without Salah since 2017 would be 95 points, 117 points, 119 points, 89 points, 112 points and 87 points? Enough to win the league 4 times and twice achieving a points total that's actually impossible?
You're just making things up at this point mate. Not our problem you're too miserable to enjoy a quality player playing for the club.

Mohamed Salah has "cost us points"? By "not passing the ball to Mane"? Does your crystaI ball tell you that Mane would have scored every time, if such happened?
"The evidence is out there"? Which evidence? The evidence that he breaks club records of all kinds on a monthly basis? Or that he's been a top 10 player in the World since he joined us (top three for a good 2-3 years) . Just the usual agenda drivel from this poster.
I read a lot of ludicrous stuff on here but this definitely takes the cake, at least for this year. The closest other thing is "Kelleher is ready to replace Alisson". But this is the clear winner by a mile.

Selfish Salah has about 0.24 assists per game for Liverpool. That's more than the following had for Liverpool:
Sadio Mane (0.14 assists per game)
Roberto Firmino (0.19 assists per game)
Ray Houghton (0.19 assists per game)
Steve McManaman (0.21 assists per game)
Steven Gerrard (0.22 assists per game)
Peter Beardsley (0.23 assists per game)
As a matter of fact, as far as I can tell the only Liverpool players, who played a statistically relevant number of games, obviously, with better assists per game than Selfish Salah are John Barnes (0.25 per game) Trent Alexander-Arnold (0.26 per game) and Sir Kenny Dalglish (0.32 per game) .
Doesn't exactly strike me as terrible?

On the Sly Sports team sheet next season, will it still be a 433 or will or be a 343 with a box midfield?

Is our relationship so bad with Fulham that they wouldn’t take our money now over nothing in summer?
It’s not this potential transfer that has me asking per se, it’s more a fascination with the side of football we rarely get an insight in to. Doesn’t matter how clued up we think we are, the machinations behind the public facade are a mystery to the vast majority of us.

If someone with a bit more time and expertise than me managed to set this up as a fund raiser, I reckon we could all join in, have a laugh and raise a bit of money for charity over the next few months.
I haven’t got a hundred quid to spare, but I’d put a fiver on us spending less than £32.5m.

If I posted even one percent as much as I read this site, I’d be on a par with Barry (love your posts mate! ), but I absolutely HAVE to commend Steve Wilson on the BBC commentary for how he dealt with the City ‘fans’ abuse of the minute’s silence yesterday. Touch of genuine class in a moment that was difficult for anyone with any humanity to witness.
