Hi Ed's,

I was wondering what the general consensus was with the buzz surrounding Pablo Sarabia. He seems to be a bit of a gem and a late (ish) developer.

Sevilla is of course a great club, but does he have higher ambitions and moreover is there clubs willing to accommodate him?

Of course this is a Liverpool rumour site, so I'll be specific, do you see him as a good fit in Liverpool

Thanks
Kev.

Hi Ed's,

In your opinion, will the transfer ban that Chelsea has received and the possible ban that Manchester City could be under, have an effect on our tansfer plans?

Will the club for example bring forward any long term targets because of the reduced short term competition? I would appreciate your thoughts.

Thanks.

{Ed002's Note - No it won’t.}

OP, what other clubs do or don't do, have NO bearing on what LFC do or don't do. Pretty simple, really.

Thanks Ed002,

RedWolf, would it be as simple as you say? I think it’s fair to say that we are after an attacking midfielder to compete with AOC and to cover the loss of Lallana if he, as expected, moves on. We tried to sign Fekir last summer. If Real Madrid sign Hazard, does that mean that Isco could be come available? We are all in the same market, I accept what Ed002 has said in regard to transfer strategy if our PL competition gets a ban but what you have said is different and what other clubs do does have an effect. If Roma didn’t have a replacement for Allison or they haven’t allocated the funds we don’t get him for example.

{Ed002's Note - You are over analysing this, it is nothing to do with Liverpool - at least for the time being.}

Kev, Ed02 just answered your post perfectly. It is actually that simple. You are working too hard trying to make 2 and 2 equal 5. Transfers and transfer strategies are indeed complicated BUT not as complicated as you are making it out to be. Cheers, mate.

4.) 18 Mar 2019 21:24:00
we will have our targets, the only thing I can think of that would make any difference is that banned clubs won’t be able to sign them if they are after the same player. That all depends on if we don’t also pick up a ban lol.

5.) 18 Mar 2019 22:09:22
Or, another factor might be if LFC get dragged into all this and themselves get a ban. Quite sure that bring forward any plans.

{Ed002's Note - I have explaioned that situational already - numerous English sides can become involved in at least the nise.}

6.) 18 Mar 2019 23:23:17
ed02 said 'not for the time being" based on previous sharkpods etc I'd say that our targets are not the same as other clubs. but that could change. Redwolf - the connection he/ she is making isn't that crazy and is a genuine question that many fans will be thinking.

That’s what I was thinking Faithinworks.

It’s very generous of ed002 to answer these questions 😘.

Liverpool and Klopp have not moved away from youth development.

As the club gets more successful a product if this is of course that it is harder for a younger player to find a position within the squad. Youth recruitment and development within the u23s and u18s must keep up to meet the demands required by the management team.

We have a player that will be part of the first team squad next season that could meet these demands in Rhian Brewster. Others mentioned also have a shot.

1 player every 2 seasons good enough to impact a squad like ours from our support setup is a massive achievement.

Hi,
While it’s hard to find information about the FIFA Club World Cup 2019, Morocco has declared an Interest to hold the tournament in 2019 and 2020. Since 2009, hosts federations hold the tournament in 2 consecutive years.

Expect this and next seasons FIFA WCC to go ahead. FIFA are trying to push through with their plans to replace this tournament with a larger version.

Hi AF,

Expect Rhian Brewster to get this chance next season when he will be part of the 1st team squad. This is why he signed his latest contract with us.

I think everyone rates him highly but like all players of his age, time will tell if he hits the heights we all hope he does.

Good luck to him.
