I do not think we will see Trent play in a Liverpool uniform again. Opinions Ed001, Ed0025?
{Ed025's Note - I suspect you are right KC. But I hope he makes it onto the parade bus mate because he deserves to having been a big part of this campaign. I just hope we don’t get nutters booing him or stuff like that..
1.) 01 Apr 2025 07:05:31
It would be a very sad way for trent to go out. he's played a long time with us and if we do win the league and do it in front of fans it should be 1 of best days of his career.
Even tho I blame club mostly for letting it get to this stage trent also has to except that if he's made his bed he now has to sleep in it and I think his reception at the end will be muted. i certainly wouldn't be booing him but I wouldn't be shouting from the rafters for him either.
2.) 01 Apr 2025 07:17:39
He might play for the legends.
3.) 01 Apr 2025 07:30:16
I hope not, even though he has contributed already I would like to see him go out style. Getting a few goals or assists to get us over the line.
4.) 01 Apr 2025 09:07:32
If he’s back at the end of April it could already all be over in terms of the title race and also in terms of him being a Liverpool player, my view is that if he’s signed for them he doesn’t deserve to walk back into the team. It feels like it would be an unnecessary circus. I’d also begrudge him taking part in the celebrations, he should quietly slip off to Madrid and never come back. Don’t want to hear from him again.
5.) 01 Apr 2025 10:32:37
He hasn’t signed for anybody yet @Vic. If he had it would have been announced.
6.) 01 Apr 2025 10:41:45
I still don't get why some folks are so vindictive towards Trent, sure it's not a great look that he has always been so vocal about being a Liverpool fan and that he counts himself among us, that it means more to him than anything playing for us, but it's not like his head has been elsewhere since the beginning of the season and he's just strolling through games, he's worked as hard as anyone in a red shirt for pretty much every game this year. I get people being upset (these being the same people who would insist that we don't need him anyway and good riddance) that he's leaving but saying he doesn't deserve to celebrate with a title win that he has contributed to as much as anyone and with the city that he's grown up in knowing how much it means to everyone? I don't understand that personally.
7.) 01 Apr 2025 10:47:26
He has made his bed.
He has destabilised us enough so shouldn't be allowed anywhere near the squad.
Let's move on and get Bradley fit.
8.) 01 Apr 2025 11:11:35
If Trent is fit, he should play. Even if he is leaving, I don’t think anyone can doubt his importance and attitude towards the team. I actually think it is sad if people boo and jeer him, he has lived his dream and won everything possible with the club. I don’t want him to go, but the club stalled in contract offers and Real Madrid swooped in, it is not like he is leaving for a premier league rival and I think Madrid are the one club he would consider leaving us for. We should celebrate these last few months with him and hopefully title success…Suarez was a s**t yet is adored, so we as a fan base should stop the double standards and remember the club ethos of YNWA!
9.) 01 Apr 2025 11:23:21
This hatred towards Trent is getting out of hand. Yes it is frustrating he maybe moving on and Liverpool won't receive a fee. But to suggest he should never play for the club again is outrageous. Then to claim he should not take part in any possible celebrations is petty. He has contributed as much as any player since his debut for Liverpool. Am I sad to see him leave, of course. But let's be grateful that we had a player of his ability to represent our wonderful team.
10.) 01 Apr 2025 11:00:12
ED25. I disagree. hope he doesn't get on the parade. he is negotiating a way out of Liverpool on a free, while we are trying to get the title over the line. when will people stop applauding people who have only their own interests at heart . bemusing.
{Ed025's Note - but he has been part of that title winning side Strom. I think he has every right to be involved mate..
11.) 01 Apr 2025 12:28:03
Look at what he's contributed to the club in his time, if he goes he goes if he stays happy days, but to say he shouldn't be involved in title celebrations is bal@@x,
12.) 01 Apr 2025 12:28:13
The hate Trent gets is is unreal. The two aren't mutually exclusive. While he may have been negotiating a contract with RM, it is within the current rules and he isn't doing anything wrong. He has also been a key cog in our pursuit of the PL again this year, unless people are suggesting that we played better with him not in the team.
He has not forced himself out of the club in anyway either. It's not like he faked an injury (Coutinho), bit or attacked another player (Suarez), handed in a transfer request on deadline window day (Torres), or announced that he was leaving a day before a CL final (Mane) . And yet, those four players are more welcomed than Trent is right now. It is unreal to me that we would begrudge him celebrating if we won the PL just because he signed for another team. Pettiness comes to mind.
13.) 01 Apr 2025 12:47:11
Agree with ED Trent has been a huge part of us being where we are this season. He is still a Liverpool player and 100% deserves the celebrations, the bus tour and everything that comes with. The only thing I would say or agree with is if he does/ has signed to leave and we have say last 3 games to go, I'd play Bradley ahead because he is our future and we should put club and team ahead at that point.
14.) 01 Apr 2025 13:28:35
Gmil . look what we've gave him nevermind what he done for the club . he should be on his knees thanking us for making him into a footballer in the 1st place nevermond sneaking out the backdoor.
15.) 01 Apr 2025 15:04:20
Wow dracred. them players you mentioned are all foreign players with no connection to us . Trent is a Scouser. big massive difference. If people still think he is some kind of hero n throw flowers at his feet like he some sort of saviour for us, world like some ppl,
16.) 01 Apr 2025 15:35:41
It would be a bit awkward for him though wouldn’t it? Being on the bus celebrating with the team when he’s about to jump ship?
I still think he’ll stay anyway he’s just seeing what his options are with Madrid but when push comes to shove he’ll choose to stay at Liverpool. If he wasn’t even considering it he would’ve signed for Madrid by now and Marca would be shouting it from the rooftops.
17.) 01 Apr 2025 17:06:48
If he goes for free he has deliberately put his own interests first. If you are completely selfish and self centred don’t expect most supporters to continue to support you. Selfish actions have consequences.
18.) 01 Apr 2025 12:55:14
Nah Ed 25 Doesn't matter . he is a Scouser but the worst type of Scouser in my eyes . just like Macmanaman. doesn't give a toss about the club . if he did he would have signed a short term contract so we got a decent fee . people say he been a great servant
. I look it the other way n say Liverpool was the making of him. who is to say he would have made in anywhere else or been as applauded as much. we overlook all his deficiencies in defense because he can pass a ball, n he from the city. but people esp on here say good luck to him . most. people i know are not saying that.
{Ed025's Note - players dont have the same affiliation with their club as the rest of us Strom, its just a job to most of them mate and like in every profession its about getting to the pinnacle, of course some see it differently but for me he may have stayed a year or two too long and should have moved when you could have received a fee for him, but thats not down to him its down to the powers that be at the club who should have insisted he signed a new contact or be put on the transfer list
19.) 01 Apr 2025 13:44:14
Ed025 unfortunately as you know there are nutters in every club and ours will definitely appear just to boo him.
{Ed025's Note - i really hope not Barry as for me it would sour a great day in the history of the club mate, if he does go its thanks and you move on for me, he has still contributed majorly so should be applauded just like the rest of them..
20.) 01 Apr 2025 19:33:00
Ed, so you mean If trent had left in january, he should be welcomed in the parade as well cause he contributed for the first 20 games?
{Ed025's Note - no mate he would not be a liverpool player then when they won it, he will still be a Liverpool player when you win this one though..
21.) 01 Apr 2025 20:16:32
Jeez why is everyone so bitter?
Everyone always says a local lad should be loyal blah blah but where were those people when the club sold flanaghan, coady etc. they were local lads. Why didn't you demand the club keep them on the payroll for their entire career?
Truth is people aren't really bothered about him being local or not. It's just rejection making people react this way. You feel rejected by Trent in the same way you would if you asked a girl for her number and she said no.
Trent worked hard to help win us every trophy possible, he's earned it.
I don't recall anyone saying klopp shouldn't be part of any celebrations even though he forced his way out and we had to pay him out as well.
We aren't the bitter side of Liverpool, let's not act like it.
YNWA (or does it only apply some of the time? )
22.) 01 Apr 2025 20:23:45
@Theslotmachine in what way is the club destabilised?
@Markp - are you suggesting that TAA should put fans’ interest ahead of his own and his family’s interests? Do you ever think about what you are writing in the context of the real world?
23.) 01 Apr 2025 21:00:28
Ed025 there is no need for him to leave we are one of the best teams in the world and I know for most players it’s a job but most players don’t get to play for the team they say they loved and supported. He is a selfish the ballon d’Or interview proved that I don’t know any player apart from him that would put that over winning the World Cup. I don’t care that he is going and I don’t think Slot is too I don’t think he fits perfectly with his style but I can’t stand the way he has orchestrated his move it shows no love or respect for the club or fans who have supported him through thick and thin. It’s the worst kept secret in football and he does not have enough respect for the fans to come out and say he is going so why should we give him anymore support. There is a right way and a wrong way he has chosen the wrong way to go about it.
{Ed025's Note - it has certainly divided the supporters Grino, myself i just see it as modern day football mate and its all about the coin, loyalty is a thing of the past i would say so in the end it is just what it is, there is no place for hatred though imo..
24.) 01 Apr 2025 21:40:37
Who mentioned supporters WDW97? Stop making things up
25.) 01 Apr 2025 21:23:36
I agree there is no need for hatred in anything Ed but you can’t do what he is doing then expect the fans to show him the same love as they did it’s not as if he needs the extra money. I can remember you pointing that out about Henderson when he left for Saudi and with the money the club have offered to him Ed there is definitely no need to go.
{Ed025's Note - i dont think its a need Grino...more of a want mate..
26.) 02 Apr 2025 04:08:59
To be fair @Mark you mentioned supporters. So the answer to the question you raised is you.
If you go back and read what you actually wrote (I appreciate it’s an arduous task, so thanks in advance) you did specifically say “he has deliberately put his own interests first” followed by “ … don’t expect most supporters to support you”.
To me it seemed a reasonable assumption to make that you thought / think that he should put the interests of the supporters before his own.
27.) 02 Apr 2025 16:33:41
For me on the Trent stuff, it should just be 'Bye'.
Respect what he's done, cut affiliation and best of luck to the lad. He would be nothing to do with us.
I don't understand anyone who would be bitter, boo him but on the flip side I don't get anyone defending him and lauding him.
The moment he puts on that white shirt, he's just another player in world football, another galactico and another rival.
28.) 02 Apr 2025 17:26:33
Yep time to say goodbye. Nothing more nothing less. I feel the Anfield crowd will applaud him. I think most of the people suggesting booing him are internet trolls and wouldn’t do the things they say in person.
01 Apr 2025 01:43:07
Ed0025 does Eve have interest in Doak? Cheers.
{Ed025's Note - that’s what’s being reported KC. If it’s true it will be as a makeweight in a deal involving Branthwaite going to you I expect mate..
1.) 01 Apr 2025 05:49:23
Ed025, do you think Branthwaite would be a good signing for liverpool if it happens?
{Ed025's Note - i think he would be a very good signing Nabeel, still young and one of the best in the country for me mate..
2.) 01 Apr 2025 07:05:40
Ed do you rate branthwaite.
{Ed025's Note - i really do Walkon, does make the odd error but is learning all the time and has all the attributes to become the new VVD for me mate..
3.) 01 Apr 2025 08:33:53
I'd snap your hand off for that kind of deal Ed025, Branthwaite is and brilliant CB.
{Ed025's Note - yeah i really rate him Kloppers..
4.) 01 Apr 2025 09:17:09
Branthwaite? April fool 25 mate?
{Ed025's Note - i would not back against it just yet Drogie..
5.) 01 Apr 2025 09:21:55
ED25 do you know information on a possible deal, Doak and Branthwaite, or just your opinion?
{Ed025's Note - logic really Stevie, Branthwaite wants to go and Liverpool are after a centre half of quality mate, add to that we are interested in Doak and maybe a deal could be done...but you would have to stump up £50m as well..
6.) 01 Apr 2025 10:42:45
God I hope note on both accounts.
7.) 01 Apr 2025 11:59:21
Cherrs for the reply ed25.
{Ed025's Note - no problem Stevie..
8.) 01 Apr 2025 14:34:29
Appreciate you wouldn't ideally lose Branthwaite Ed025, but would you be happy with Doak and some cash in return? Not sure how much you've seen of Doak.
{Ed025's Note - i have seen a bit of Doak Dan and he certainly has potential, which is pretty similar to Branthwaite in a way...both young with good ability but with still a lot to learn imo, i think Jarrad has the higher celing though mate which is why he is very sought after and it would take a fair amount of cash plus Doak to convince the Blues to part with their prize asset mate..
9.) 01 Apr 2025 18:47:48
Ed025 you are winding us up. No way Everton and Liverpool are doing business.
{Ed025's Note - i would not rule it out stg, this is business mate and if the money is right of course it could happen, forget about this we wont sell to them and they wont sell to us...thats old hat im afraid..
10.) 01 Apr 2025 21:07:57
Ed025 that’s never happening we might sell Doak to you because I don’t think k he has a future with us and £20m+ profit is good business for us. But you are not selling your best player to us just before you move into your new ground that would really take the shine off the start of the season. Also as good as a defender I think he is I just don’t think he is good enough on the ball and am not sure what he would be like defending as high as we do.
{Ed025's Note - hes better on the ball than you suggest Grino, the fact is that the players around him and especially the midfield of Everton do not show for the ball as often as they should do, in a better side he will become a better player mate....and you can take that to the bank..
11.) 01 Apr 2025 21:44:07
Him on the ball Ed would only find out if he moves to one of the top sides that play a different style of play and if only slightly below the level on the ball would cause massive problems. And as much as you are miles better now you still don’t over play it at the back that we do sometimes and it gives me anxiety most of the time but you watch him more than me Ed but I still think no way he comes to us from you Ed if he did there would be some real hatred then mate not just towards him but it would not be a great first transfer window for the new owners.
{Ed025's Note - maybe it wont happen Grino but stranger things have happened mate..
12.) 01 Apr 2025 22:03:25
Cheers Ed0025. Good luck tomorrow mate (sort of) *wink* : p.
{Ed025's Note - we might just need it KC...cheers mate..
10 Jan 2025 14:40:39
VVD 2 YEAR EXTENSION. GET IN!
1.) 10 Jan 2025 15:31:46
Source?
2.) 10 Jan 2025 15:41:06
A Dutch newspaper I think saying it's imminent.
3.) 10 Jan 2025 15:42:43
Reported in the telegraaf in Holland - apparently reliable when it comes to VVD.
4.) 10 Jan 2025 15:47:04
Hope it’s true as he’s the one out of the 3 I’m desperate to get signed up.
5.) 10 Jan 2025 15:51:00
Marcel van der Kraan I assume?
6.) 10 Jan 2025 15:53:40
The article doesn't even say it, I know people are getting excited but it's just someone saying they need to. Not that it's imminent.
7.) 10 Jan 2025 15:54:38
The same newspaper said it was imminent last October.
8.) 10 Jan 2025 16:21:24
That’s good news, hopefully just the start, Mo next.
9.) 10 Jan 2025 16:24:08
Lol don't get roped in. I'll believe it when I see a photo of him signing, with an official announcement. Until then I'll believe nothing.
10.) 10 Jan 2025 16:32:29
I agree Salah, i see nothing by any reliable source.
11.) 10 Jan 2025 16:34:56
Virgil sees the most chilled about it, and arguably the most important of all.
He could play as long as the Italian/ Juve legend did.
12.) 10 Jan 2025 19:58:46
He has signed 20 contracts in the past month according to reports.
13.) 10 Jan 2025 20:05:23
I’m not having a go here Salah, but why follow a rumours site and contribute to one of you only believe things once they appear on the official site. This is a rumours site after all.
14.) 10 Jan 2025 20:23:45
True Colin, but the op wasn't a rumour, it was a statement.
15.) 10 Jan 2025 21:00:56
Logically they will announce all agreed contract together. Else it put pressure on other un-agrrrf contracts
But i guess VVD could be only contract agreed.
16.) 10 Jan 2025 23:43:35
I'll wait to celebrate until he's pictured smiling and leaning over a club official holding a pen.
17.) 11 Jan 2025 00:29:12
Colin, I don't quite understand what you're saying mate. What are we meant to do, believe every rumour?
18.) 11 Jan 2025 01:06:46
I won’t celebrate until he’s signed the extension, and then played all the way until the end of his next contract renewal to know that we actually got our moneys worth.
19.) 11 Jan 2025 05:48:59
All 3 contracts together? I do not believe that Trent is staying.
20.) 11 Jan 2025 08:17:14
The club will make an announcement - as they always do - when any contracts or signings are complete. Everything else is just rumour or heresay. It really is that simple. All the squabbling is good fun but, in reality, pointless.
21.) 11 Jan 2025 10:09:01
It’s not pointless though is it? The title of the website should give you a hint. I love all rumours and take them at face value “ a rumour” keep them coming because if people don’t post rumours then we just sit here waiting for hard facts before we invest our time.
22.) 11 Jan 2025 13:21:49
@Scouse, well said. I totally misunderstood that this was the ‘Transfer Rumours’ page. I see what you mean though - it should be about transfer rumours shouldn’t it?
18 Nov 2024 19:43:35
I do not think I see much in the latest Pulisic chatter. As a follower of the USMNT he is usually attacking where we have Diaz/ Gakpo already. Unless he could be a Nunuz/ Jota replacement. Good player but doubtful imho.
1.) 18 Nov 2024 20:34:10
Klopp loved him, but that was years ago. Feels recycled.
2.) 18 Nov 2024 20:38:08
Don't see it happening myself. If it comes to fruition then hopefully he does well for the team.
3.) 18 Nov 2024 21:54:49
Not good enough for us.
4.) 19 Nov 2024 06:23:08
He's just as good as Neto.
5.) 19 Nov 2024 07:09:52
Anything wrote over an international break I'd take with a huge pinch of salt. The interest in international football outside tournaments is getting lower and lower, journalists need to spin something to get the football publics interest.
6.) 19 Nov 2024 12:08:36
Marcus Thuram is also doing the rounds today. Like we need an additional forward.
7.) 19 Nov 2024 12:11:25
agreed Salah.
8.) 19 Nov 2024 13:20:28
Severely injury prone, has said in the past that he’d rather play for United over us because he’s a United fan. Too many red flags.
9.) 19 Nov 2024 13:47:57
Pulisic is to inconsistent, lightweight and goes missing as well as being injury prone. When he burst onto the scene he looked decent but virtually every manager he's played under eventually saw the light and benched him or sold him.
10.) 19 Nov 2024 21:25:48
If Pulisic join us, he will follow in Salah's path. Ex-Failure in EPL, went Italy, then Edwards' Urim and Thummim pointed to him, like it pointed to Salah, the media and opp fans ridiculed us for buying a failure and and the rest is history.
11.) 19 Nov 2024 22:06:53
Sicknote, not consistent enough.

Ed001, If you had to guess who will be VVD's defensive partner next season? Cheers, K_C.
{Ed001's Note - Konate.}
1.) 17 Apr 2025 21:25:48
Ed001 do you still see us taking a strong run at Huijsen in that scenario?
{Ed001's Note - yes.}
2.) 18 Apr 2025 04:54:29
You think we will not sell him Ed? He got one year left in his contract. Would be foolish of us to risk losing him for nothing next ssason. PSG would probably going after him for free.
{Ed001's Note - I think that is the problem, that he will wait on them.}
3.) 18 Apr 2025 05:44:09
On one hand, if we sell Konate, that will add another player that we will need to replace with. That on top of already a lot of positions that need to be strengthened. Its a lot of work need to be done this summer.
But if he isn't willing to sign a new contract, we will lose him for nothing. Ed, do you know any right sided CB we have been looking at? All the names being mentioned is left sided CB.
{Ed001's Note - off the top of my head, the only one I can think of is Huijsen's partner - begins with a Z but I can't think of his name right now. Sorry not at home right now to look it up.}
4.) 18 Apr 2025 11:02:25
I believe his name is Zabarnyi. I remembered asking your opinion on him before. I remembered you said good for mid table clubs but not good enough for top clubs competing for biggest trophy like UCL and EPL.
{Ed001's Note - he is young though. Mine is only an opinion, I don't make the decisions.}
5.) 18 Apr 2025 11:53:13
I get the impression Konate loves it at the club and it's just a case of getting the deal done.
I think if he wanted to move to PSG in a couple of years time, I am sure PSG would be willing to pay a fee and we would let him move on. I might be wrong, but I don't get the impression that PSG are like Real or Barcelona in that they actively encourage players to run down their deals.
If he doesn't sign, then I would probably look at Diomande at Porto to replace Konate's physical attributes.

We remember the 97 today. Gods speed, You Will Never Walk Alone.
1.) 15 Apr 2025 17:25:40
Hear Hear KC. The 97 always in our prayers.
2.) 16 Apr 2025 12:06:16
I remind myself of the names of the people every anniversary. I have a couple of friends on the list, and every year reading the names it brings tears to my eyes. The thing that always strikes me most is that 38 of the poor souls were less than 20 years old. So very, very sad .
You will never be forgotten. YNWA.
14 Apr 2025 19:35:39
Dear Ed001: Can you please post a synopsis of how you see the goaltending situation playing out at LFC next and the following seasons? Cheers, YNWA.
{Ed001's Note - it is difficult to tell - it really depends on whether they intend to stay with Alisson or whether this is a Cech/Courtois situation, or they have had enough of Alisson's injuries. If they see Alisson as the long term keeper, then Mamardashvili has been bought with a view to making money. So it will be a back up keeper that we will bring in.
If it is a Cech/Courtois situation, then they are going to have to keep sending Mama out on loan until the time comes they feel it is right to change the guard. The problem with doing that is the same that Chelsea had with Courtois. Firstly, the older guy is a much better keeper and that makes it difficult to change over. Secondly, the younger guy is not building an affection towards the club by being farmed out on loan constantly and so will not have a connection with the fans, nor will he have his heart in it. Any better offer and he will be off like a shot.
If Mama is just for sale at a profit, then he could potentially come back as the back up, but it is more likely he will just keep going out on loan until the right offer arrives.}
1.) 15 Apr 2025 14:02:58
How are you, Ed001? Trust you are well.
While looking at last summer's spends in the EPL, we were the second lowest with player purchases of 38 Million (Chiesa and Mamardshvilli) (the lowest being ManCity at 22 Million - you can imagine why that open chequebook had been slammed shut! ) . While it looks strange at first sight, I imagine either Slot or executive management simply said "Jurgen Klopp left behind a damn good squad, so let's see what you can do with it before we go out and buy". With the benefit of hindsight of course, it was a very astute move. The cracks are beginning to show now and I agree with many that purchases have to be made this coming summer.
But I still can't get my head around the Mamardshvilli purchase. If Kelleher is going to be sold then Mamardshvilli is above backup level, in my view. And buying for a profit is more from the ManCity and Chelsea playbook, not really ours (excepting the Davies case) . 29 Million is a hell of a risk to take for the way that LFC operates financially. Could there be a 3rd option? That perhaps Alisson has an agreement that he'll be allowed to leave in the summer if the Saudis come back for him, as in the past? People will howl as they did with Henderson (and probably TAA soon) but they're professionals and perfectly entitled to earn as much as they can during a limited career span. What do you think?
{Ed001's Note - Alisson has made it plain that he wants to stay in Liverpool and then go back to Brazil, so that seems highly unlikely.}

Then that's actually great news. Thanks Ed. ??.
{Ed001's Note - very welcome.}

Ed001 and readers. Kerkez OR Hato?
{Ed001's Note - Hato is a Liverpool fan who would love to play for us. Kerkez is a Man Utd fan who has publicly said he would never join us. Is there really any question here?}
1.) 26 Feb 2025 05:07:54
Hato it is then Tristan.
2.) 26 Feb 2025 05:39:28
Ed, is Hato view by the club as a CB or LB? Do you rate him?
{Ed001's Note - I don't think Slot wants him to play just one position, he likes players who can play multiple ones. He likes flexibility to allow him to adjust tactics.}
3.) 26 Feb 2025 07:18:32
Bit of a backward step from kerkez looking to move to the championship.
4.) 26 Feb 2025 08:50:23
Hato has a much higher ceiling imo, plus he has the footballing education that slot likes, having the versatility to invert or stay wide, or fill in as a center half according to the game state and have the intuition to judge when he should do either, which is what slot needs from his fullback. He looks absolutely perfect for us, think he's the most likely signing this summer imo. Kerkez looks okay going forwards but I think a slot signing is judged on their tactical versatility and intelligence off the ball more than anything else.
5.) 26 Feb 2025 09:08:02
Well, hopefullty we get Hato then.
6.) 26 Feb 2025 09:15:54
Love the idea of Hato coming in, question is what do we do with LB. Keep Robertson and let Tsimikas leave? Do both leave?
I am sad beck hasn’t got a chance he looks like he could do a job there and I am partial to someone from the ranks!
7.) 26 Feb 2025 09:33:21
Ed, looking at Ajax lineup this season, he play almost all match as LB. That is according to Transfermarkt website. Don't know how reliable that site is. Have you watch him play Ed? Has he impressed you?
{Ed001's Note - I have only seen him play left-back, but he did look impressive. I would want to see a lot more of him before I judged him though. One game and a few highlight packages is not enough imo to really get to know a player.}
8.) 26 Feb 2025 09:56:41
Based purely off opinion here and some brief YT highlights, I like the look of Hato.
I did like Kerkez, especially with his Szobo connection, but if he has stated in the past that he is a Man Utd fan and doesn't want to play for us then my interest cools. He does have the advantage of being PL ready.
The Southern Red, having read an article in The Athletic, I could see a scenario where Tsimikas is sold, Robbo is kept (and maybe given 1-2 year extension at the end of his deal next season) and Hato and Beck both come into the squad. Hato gives that flexibility at CB too, as many others have stated.
9.) 26 Feb 2025 11:23:32
Would have liked to see Beck and Chambers be given a chance at LB but it does seem like neither will make it with us. Beck is more like a traditional LB whereas Chambers is out with an injury. Both are impressing on loan though (in Chambers' case, before his injury) so hopefully even if they don't make it with us, they'd still get a good move elsewhere.
10.) 26 Feb 2025 11:26:04
Cheers Ed001 for your insights! Chief.
{Ed001's Note - very welcome.}
19 Apr 2025 12:36:18
Wasn't Klopp's next ambition after a break to coach the German National team?
If he looked like the grim reaper at the end in Liverpool and FSG imagine 2 years at Madrid.
Don't see the Mrs sanctioning it even though the commute to the villa in Majorca is not long.
16 Apr 2025 12:59:45
Huijsen still needs much work in the weight room, he is quite lean for a CB imo.
Ed001 and members, do you have thoughts on why Quansah has seemed to struggle this year? Confidence?, Slot's system?
Have such high hopes for baby Virgil
Would Bornemouth really sell us two of there starting defenders even with the Hughes connection?
{Ed001's Note - because he is not good enough. Was vastly overrated by Liverpool fans and is not being protected by the midfield now, so his flaws are more obvious.}
14 Apr 2025 21:19:13
No one player is bigger then the club. We will miss him and his service, but his head and pockets have obviously been turned.

Creful @twinkletoes, eggs are expensive now, not worth it! : p.

Lets please not even give that S Newspaper the time of day here. Cheers. YNWA.
{Ed025's Note - im with you KC, still on building sites in Liverpool any one with that scum bag paper has it ripped up in front of them mate..
17 Apr 2025 21:25:48
Ed001 do you still see us taking a strong run at Huijsen in that scenario?
{Ed001's Note - yes.}

More fake outside noise. Macca's Father on the rumors: “There’s nothing to comment. Alexis is very happy at Liverpool and hopes to be crowned Premier League champion, then enjoy a break he didn’t get last year. ”
“It’s important to value and respect the institution he’s playing for, so any comment from us would be unnecessary. ”
“He has a contract until 2028. He’s happy at the club — let’s hope he stays there. ”.
16 Apr 2025 13:08:02
Bizarre take, Slot has improved many players imo and has always been one of his strengths.
This new framing of trying to take away credit from Slot to a Champion season is also quite bizarre and seems to be coming from anti-LFC outside noise or bloggers looking for clicks.

Isak is a pipe dream.

Who was the Polish winger we linked to a few years back?
