Ed1,
Fabrizio mentioning xavi Simmons again, maybe on the move.
So,

1. Do you know of any interest in him from us?
2. Your opinion on him? Would you want him at the club? If we were to sell Harvey I wouldn’t half mind Simmons coming in!

JoeTheRedLFC2

{Ed001's Note - 1. No, not any more.
2. Not good enough. Would be no improvement on what we have. I don't understand the hype, most of the time he offers nothing.}

1.) 20 Apr 2025 11:06:04
From a good source KDB is a real possibility for LFC both parties are looking into it. KDB is very open to the switch apparently.

2.) 20 Apr 2025 13:40:00
I do wonder if KDB could do a Pirlo and make City regret letting him leave.

3.) 20 Apr 2025 14:50:46
I’d take de bruyne if we could get him in a heavily incentivised contract, him passing to salah would be sublime.

4.) 20 Apr 2025 15:43:49
I’d take KDB in a heartbeat. He’s better than Szobo and the only challenge is keeping him fit. If we took a punt on Chiesa then this should be a no brainer.

5.) 20 Apr 2025 18:32:39
Szobo hasn’t done enough in a Liverpool shirt at all for me. Him the left wing, left back and a striker are all areas we could definitely improve.

6.) 20 Apr 2025 18:54:51
We don't need another mid table level dutchman when we already have Gakpo.

7.) 20 Apr 2025 18:59:25
Szobo’s form for 75% of the season is why we are 1 win away from the title. His hard running style means he burns out in the final third of a season - which is something we need to address if we want to win Champs League.

8.) 20 Apr 2025 19:34:06
Rubbish. We’d have won games with other players stepping in for me. Szobo doesn’t score enough, assist enough and is not direct enough in his play. Weak link moving forward in my opinion.

9.) 20 Apr 2025 19:55:31
Jeez, Szobo has been a great player for us, a pressing machine - needs to shoot more imo but a great player.

10.) 20 Apr 2025 21:05:01
Szob has been ineffective and had no impact on most games. Elliot looked far better in 10 minutes than Szob has looked for about qames. Running around and making no tackles, no assists as a number 10 and no goals. For over £60m he’s unfortunately been as much a waste as Nunez has been.

11.) 20 Apr 2025 22:12:37
KdB doesn’t play enough games, always been a sicknote and it’s only going to get worse.

12.) 20 Apr 2025 22:31:04
It would take up a lot of our wage budget to sign KDB. As good as he has been over the years, I don’t think it would be a good use of funds.

Would remind me more of us signing Thiago than Milner.

Phenomenal player but too much of a risk and hard to keep fit for the season.

Also it’s incredible how bad Szobozlai is as we CRUISE to a 20th league title.

Could be score and assist more? Of course, but he’s a great player, great technique and often leads the press this season in his new role pushed up off the striker.

13.) 20 Apr 2025 22:33:42
Get him and put him right back. Problem solved ?.

14.) 20 Apr 2025 23:31:30
for anyone coming in, I just hope Slot is on board. cos I'd hate to see anyone come in and then just sit on the bench all season.

15.) 21 Apr 2025 00:30:50
I can agree Simons as a child prodigy, but as an adult professional he's just slightly above average. Despite having a good tournament last summer for Holland. And I'd be wary of a player who doesn't settle - 3 teams in the last 5 years (Barcelona to PSG, then PSV, and then to Leipzig) .

16.) 21 Apr 2025 06:46:34
Anybody who would swap szoboszlai for the current kdb. I have no words really, I'm just glad you're not in a position to make personnel changes at our club, truly.

{Ed078's Note - "current" being the word. Szoboszlai's work rate is incredible.

17.) 21 Apr 2025 13:50:48
Romano most of the time is mouthpiece of agents agendas. Seems to have a LFC "agenda". Occasionally gets a dart right.

{Ed001's Note - remember when he was pumping out PSV's official statements with regard to Gakpo joining us and claiming they were exclusives?}

18.) 21 Apr 2025 18:47:54
Just proves most fans want big names rather than big players. KDB is not up to premier league standard anymore, even his passing range has left him. Would be the equivalent of signing Thiago again

Xavi Simmons didn't impress at PSG and Leipzig aren't impressed either. He doesn't listen to instructions very well according to some coaches.

Has some talent but swapping a home grown Elliot for a non home grown less ready version of the same player seems very dumb.

10 Apr 2025 20:27:31
Hi Ed,
Ornstein reporting we have met with Huijsens reps.
I think previously you said we had an interest.
Just wondering if you’re aware of any development or what LFC’s opinion is on him/ possible move for him?
Thanks.

JoeTheRedLFC2

{Ed001's Note - nothing I am aware of, he is very highly regarded.}

1.) 10 Apr 2025 20:47:11
I think if huijsen is coming in then probably konate is going out. He left juve because he didn't want to sit on the bench can't see him doing it again.

2.) 10 Apr 2025 21:09:19
Ed001, would you have either Huijsen or VVD playing RCB if indeed Konate may leave? Huijsen is a LCB, and I presume he's being brought in now to gradually replace Virg, but if he wants game time straight away he's going to struggle unless one of them switches.

{Ed001's Note - or it could be time to let Virgil go?}

3.) 10 Apr 2025 21:48:36
Wow, Ed001, that would be a bold move. I still think Virg will sign, but I wonder if he may the one to get sold during his 2 year contract?

Or do you think they just may not sign it?

{Ed001's Note - I expect him to sign, I was just saying that it has to be worth considering.}

4.) 10 Apr 2025 23:11:43
Huijsens good. but virgil is virgil. Still the best in England by a distance.

5.) 10 Apr 2025 23:18:03
Thought it was reported that he fancies himself at RM.

6.) 10 Apr 2025 23:39:09
To be fair, John, most of the players at RM fancy themselves.

Also, if Huijsen fancies Real, so be it. If we get a few good years out of him, great.

I'm not sold on the "every player needs to want to play for us forever" mantra. Maybe players want to experience different cultures and experiences (like Salah wrote about Trent on the 'Discussion' page.

As long as the players and club treat each other with respect and are fair, so be it. let's win what we can and no player is bigger than the club.

7.) 11 Apr 2025 00:39:47
I get players move on zed mate, but In my eyes we’re nobody’s stepping stone. If you going to sign for us do so cos you want to play here not because it will get you to your next move.

8.) 11 Apr 2025 01:14:14
I guess I don't mind as much mate.

Huijsen is a Spaniard, so it's only natural that he'd want to play for Barcelona or Real at some point, just like every English player would want to play for us!

9.) 11 Apr 2025 01:36:16
Does Huijsen look at liverpool as a stepping stone?

10.) 11 Apr 2025 05:32:46
@Faith, apparently he was caught by a microphone discussing that very thing with Kerkez at a training session last Tuesday.

11.) 11 Apr 2025 07:37:22
I'm with zed I don't think it matters if we are a stepping stone as long as they help us win trophies and put in 100% while here. Suarez made it 100% clear he was only in it at Liverpool until Barcelona came calling and nobody was really mad about it.
The only I'd say is make sure huijsen contract is min 5 years so Madrid can't persuade him to play for us for three years then leave on a free again after two. If he's going to Madrid make sure they cough up next time.

12.) 11 Apr 2025 09:58:21
I tend to ignore logic when it comes to our club but I what if we decide to cash in on Ibou, move Virgil to RCB and bring Huisen in to play LCB? Virgil's passing range at RCB would compensate for Trent's departure and Huisen's progessive carrying/ passing from LCB could give us a new dimension along with whoever we bring in at LB.

I'll put the logic back in the box now.

13.) 11 Apr 2025 11:03:49
We would be weakening our starting 11 Pelican. Huijsen is a top prospect but for the here and now i would still have Ibou comfortably ahead of him. Ibous been a bit dodgy lately but largely superb this season.

14.) 11 Apr 2025 11:30:53
Florian, I hear your argument and don't disagree with you.

However, don't rule out something like that happening.

15.) 11 Apr 2025 20:42:25
Nah ibou going nowhere.

16.) 12 Apr 2025 10:37:41
Scouse John, you're living in a different era mate players do what they want. they run football, we are seeing prime example a 33 and 32 year old players demanding massive contracts and getting them.

The days of Carra and Stevie G are gone. the players are in it for what they can get. Do you remember Nick Barmby scored for efc kissing his badge a couple of days later he is in a red shirt?

19 Mar 2025 13:50:35
Ed001 mate,
Hope all is well with you!
Just wondering if you’ve heard of any actual names we have a genuine interest in? Not just the usual rumours!

Cheers.

JoeTheRedLFC2

{Ed001's Note - I haven't mate, I have been too busy to chase up any rumours.}

1.) 19 Mar 2025 16:55:33
Thanks Ed!

2.) 19 Mar 2025 18:16:34
Busy with the Southampton review eh Ed?

{Ed001's Note - something like that. Family visiting.}

09 Dec 2024 15:41:35
Hi Ed001
Just wondering if you have heard anything regarding contracts with the 3 big fellas?
Ornstein and Melissa Reddy providing seemingly positive updates.
Thanks in advance.

JoeTheRedLFC2

{Ed001's Note - all I know is all three want to stay and were waiting on the club to make an offer. Now the club has finally opened talks, I would expect all three to sign new deals in the coming weeks.}

1.) 09 Dec 2024 17:49:00
Be proper Christmas the 3 wise men come baring gifts.

2.) 09 Dec 2024 17:49:32
Oh boy, oh boy, oh boy!
You all heard it - ed001 guaranteed it. ?

Only joking ed001 bud - really appreciate the info and HOPING it will indeed be 3 out of 3!

{Ed001's Note - fingers crossed, but I really don't see any reason to worry.}

3.) 09 Dec 2024 18:05:57
Delighted to hear Ed!
Thanks for your reply.
Really could be a merry Christmas for all of us.
3 new contracts and top of the league.
All going well!

P. S I hope you’re doing well after Ed002’s passing mate. Still such a shock to me. Appreciate you being more active on here since. Hasn’t gone unnoticed! Top man!

{Ed001's Note - very welcome mate.

Yeah, I am ok, still a bit shocked, but you just have to get on with it.}

4.) 09 Dec 2024 18:17:23
Just had the thought to jump on here after hearing on Sky that we've held positive conversations with Salah, VVD and Trent to see what Ed002 knew.
Now I'm sad again after remembering what happened.
Miss you Ed002.
Thanks for the info Ed001 and glad you think there is no need to worry. Hearing you being relaxed about it makes me a bit more calm.

{Ed001's Note - very welcome mate.}

5.) 09 Dec 2024 18:27:02
Time for Trent to go go for me. Delighted if vvd stays fingers crossed ??. Salah meh ? I see him dropping off once the contract comes.
Same as last time he got the contact. If he has another bad experience at afcon I think it will all end in a mess for Salah and more importantly lfc.

6.) 09 Dec 2024 18:31:38
Hope all do sign to be honest but my gut feeling is Trent, I just think he might go.

7.) 09 Dec 2024 18:36:07
Only place Trent’s going is the managers office to sign his contract.

8.) 09 Dec 2024 19:23:14
Very good news, I think they all like the new manager so that must help a lot.

9.) 09 Dec 2024 19:28:27
Did Salah drop off after his previous contract extensions, Negative?

10.) 09 Dec 2024 19:39:12
Mo went from 50 goals / assists to 49 per season @Keith.

11.) 09 Dec 2024 21:05:36
Great news that. If all 3 sign up it's as big an endorsement of slot management as u will ever get.
Even though club ridiculously slow at the contract negotiations I think in back of all 3 players minds was to see how slot would fair out before they would sign anything.

12.) 09 Dec 2024 20:57:08
I was thinking about you yesterday ed1. I’m reading a book called Golf in the Kingdom by Michael Murphy (highly recommend if you haven’t read it) .

He meets a quirky golf pro called Chivas Irons who turns out to be a philosophical genius who takes him under his wing and teaches him the way of golf and life.

Reminded me of how you described your relationship with Ed2.

{Ed001's Note - chivas irons? Is it a fiction book? Only that is the most made up name I have seen in years.

It is very odd editing without Ed002. He pretty much came on board at the start of properly getting involved editing the posts. Before that, it was just posting or deleting posts sent in. It really changed things when I started getting involved by making comments. He was already posting on the sites when I did that.}

13.) 09 Dec 2024 21:38:13
It’s auto biographical with a bit of fiction thrown in Ed. Based in Scotland hence the Chivas reference.

It’s a thinking man’s book with the odd eureka moment, for me anyway. Very well written.

Chivas is kind of like the oracle with a very sharp tongue, exactly what we all thought of Ed2!

{Ed001's Note - thinking man's book? No good for me then!}

14.) 09 Dec 2024 22:14:54
If you play golf I’d say it’s a must read. Golf messes with your mind and this book sums it up perfectly.

Anyway, I just had a chuckle to myself whilst reading it as it reminded me so much of Ed2. I never even knew the bloke but it’s funny how these things pop into your head.

15.) 10 Dec 2024 01:54:01
Very promising news Ed1, fingers crossed they can all sign mate that'd be absolutely fantastic.

16.) 10 Dec 2024 08:29:07
If you're looking for a golf book BP, try the Amateurs by John Niven. He sums up the effect golf has on people.

17.) 10 Dec 2024 10:29:44
I generally loathe the term "statement signing" but if we tie down all three it will really be a statement to the rest of the league. I still think we need to find a way to get Trent and Bradley in the team at the same time.

18.) 10 Dec 2024 10:40:47
Salah has been consistent for years where does this narrative about a drop off after the contract come from?

19.) 10 Dec 2024 12:55:24
Naysayers looking for a way to detach themselves from the emotional tie we all have to Mo in case he does not sign and leaves DirtyMic.

Other than that i can think of no other reason.

20.) 10 Dec 2024 13:06:45
Looks like a decent book Flash. I think I’ll give that a go ?.

21.) 11 Dec 2024 06:06:40
Real Madrid always use "Ballon d'Or" to entice player and Trent repeated that in recent interview. Trent is hinting he will go.

22.) 11 Dec 2024 06:31:58
? Love your work @Lee.

26 Aug 2024 19:05:29
Hi Ed,
Your last update I could find regarding Chiesa was that we had moved on and Gordon was the target.
It seems we have flip flopped with targets again now and gone back to Chiesa.
Are you aware of Liverpool making contract with Juve/ agent etc.

JoeTheRedLFC2

{Ed002's Note - Federico Chiesa (LW/F) A third party has informed Juventus of possible interest from Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich and with sanctions this may lead Juventus to consider a sale, although they would prefer a new contract. Spurs, Newcastle, Manchester United, Chelsea and Arsenal interest seems to have gone although Spurs, Chelsea and Napoli interest could return depending on left-sided departures - although each have preferred options and Spurs have a far more pressing need for a striker. Barcelona offer an option. Aston Villa interest will go nowhere. Al-Ittihad have him behind Salah and Son, but could turn to him. Liverpool would be an option but it seems unlikely as they seem well stocked for versatile forwards, particularly left-sided forwards, but if Diaz departs he will become the likely possible replacement but not first choice although Ramadani has said that he has been dealing with approaches from Barcelona, Spurs and Liverpool. I expect Spurs to push if the lose Richarlison but an out and out striker needs to be recruited first. Seen as a Felix replacement by Atletico. Napoli and Inter offer part exchange options. Chelsea may also do the same. Agent has been speaking with Roma and agreed a move subject to a fee being agreed with Juventus less than the large asking price. Ongoing injury concerns but a one year extention to his contract will allow his agent and Juventus to negotiate next season - and I suspect that will happen, although Juventus will be nervous about him departing as a Free Agent next summer and could simply opt to move him on now. The view of Thiago Motta will be crucial.}

1.) 26 Aug 2024 22:04:37
Thank you Ed!

Now that the Trent saga has finally come to a close.
Ed001,
Jota was so bad again yesterday. Offers nothing now. Surely he and Darwin are sold.
We’ve been linked with strikers but I can’t see us signing 2. Over the last 10 years it’s rare we bring in more than 5 in a summer.
Should be bringing in 7, but can’t see it myself.
So my questions, do you see the club bringing in 2 strikers? And who?
Or maybe a versatile forward who could play there with Diaz also being an option though the middle?
Thanks for your time.

JoeTheRedLFC2

{Ed001's Note - I don't expect 2 to come in, but we have a lot leaving, so it might end up with that happening if both Darwin and Jota go. I suspect Jota will stay though. The advantage we have recruiting a forward is that we have a very clear space open for someone to make the place their own - any attacker has a chance to nail down a spot, so long as they perform.

There is interest in Osimhen still, but he needs to reduce his demands. Cunha is not out of the question but we are looking at a replacement for Nunez, someone to play right up top. Maybe we should just all keep our fingers crossed for Newcastle to be in PSR difficulty? I have to be honest, I wouldn't be surprised if Boniface is the one we end up signing as he is looking to move and Leverkusen will sell.}

1.) 05 May 2025 17:18:21
Not easy to bring 2 no9s in a single window as it's not an easy sell to any incoming player.

It's a real shame Danns has been plagued by injuries and not been able to kick on from his electric emergence last season. This would have been a great time to show he is ready to step up to be the 6th forward next season.

With Jota, it's difficult to tell if the drop off is terminal or if that lung injury is still holding him back.

I know one thing, I don't like Diaz at no9, if he stays. Lots of endeavour, but he just can't play the position.

{Ed001's Note - it is not so much the drop off, it is the fact that he is a terrible centre-forward overall. He can't pass, he can't link play, he can't hold up the ball and he is a headless chicken when we lose possession. Even the best of Jota is not good enough and never has been, for a starter. At his best, he was a good sub, that is all.}

2.) 05 May 2025 17:18:39
Is Boniface any good Ed001?

{Ed001's Note - I don't know Bazza, I have only seen a small amount of him and most of that was in a season when Leverkusen were just on fire. Since then, he has had a massive slap in the face with a Saudi club absolutely dumping on him when a move was all agreed. Some of what you see of him, he looks absolutely brilliant, but other times he looks like Nunez's slightly worse brother.}

3.) 05 May 2025 17:33:56
My view on Jota has consistently been that he was good enough to start against 'weaker' teams (ie. where you can sacrifice build up play for a greater threat in the box) and as a sub against better ones.

But he now he looks absolutely knackered physically. He seems to have lost a half yard of pace, so now he's not getting on the end of things in the box much anymore and he reminds me of Lallana is his last season in the sense that he gets ragdolled when under any sort of physical pressure.

Imo, he's not *any* use in this condition. And I think it's down to injuries catching up, so I'm hard pressed to see him turn it around. (Although stranger things have happened) If it was an underlying injury of some sort that could be fixed was impacting him, surely we could send him off to have it resolved it now, given that the last 3 games don't matter? And we haven't done that. So.

4.) 05 May 2025 17:41:12
If we keep the other 5 attackers Wirtz would be the best solution. Probably a distant dream. Would be nice to get real proven quality in.

{Ed001's Note - I would love Wirtz. I usually jinx though with regards to signing players I like, I think only Alisson and Firmino were players I wanted that we brought in. I have promised Bazza I won't mention the one particular player I want us to sign at the back.}

5.) 05 May 2025 17:53:45
Don't disagree, Ed. Jota has never been good enough for Liverpool.

Ideal situation would be that we secure our #1 choice striker in the summer and Danns is over his back injuries and ready to kick on.

That way we can let both Jota and Darwin move on.

6.) 06 May 2025 01:26:44
I think you can get two forwards if you get someone versatile. We’ve always been a bit lobsided up top. Diaz, Gakpo, Jota even Darwin were all options off the left never the right. If we moved on Jota for someone who can play up front or on the right like Mbeumo it would work and cover Salah too albeit Mbeumo specifically would go to afcon at the same time. Chiesa can play both positions but isn’t fancied. I think we should just break the bank for Morgan Rogers he could play as an attacking midfielder on either wing and if really needs be up front he played there when he was first breaking through.

28 Apr 2025 20:26:57
Wow, what a day. What a club.
Really really special. Cannot wait till we finally lift that trophy. That’s when it’s real.
That will be a beautiful moment.

A special mention to the one and only ed002 who recommended slot and spoke so highly of him. This one is for you mate. Hope you’re relaxing up there!

Slot, speechless!
Scary to think, surely, we can only get better. He learns his lessons from his first year. A few new signings.
Wow, what a time to be a Liverpool fan!

If you get as far a final, you’ve got to win it. To lose it in that fashion was absolutely unacceptable in every way.
BUT
if someone offered me the premier league at the start of the season with some unknown bald guy from Holland replacing Klopp, I would have bit both your hands off. Slot has transformed the team and we forget he is still just several months into one of the toughest jobs you could possibly have. He’s not doing bad is he. It’s clear he Dosent rate certain players, and I can’t wait for the summer personally. 4 or 5 signings, get rid of some of the players he Dosent rate and suddenly you have 17,18 players he plays rather then the current 13 or 14. I also have faith that we’ll spend in the summer and that Hughes will pull his finger out. (I know silly me)
Rotation and players tired is another thing.
I’m not so sure.
Theres been several times it’s happened this season, and the players seemed to have lost their rhythm when they get an extended rest. It’s almost has the opposite effect of what we would hope.
Fringe players like Elliot and Chiesa have not done enough when they have played, in my opinion. The last few games Elliot has been very good and i hope Slot will see that.
However it was only recently we got knocked out of the FA cup by Plymouth where these guys got their chance and were awful.
Harsh to judge on one game, but this is Liverpool, you don’t get chances. It’s high pressure, everytime.
Nevertheless, there is a league title to be won. And we will win it.
9 games left, no distractions. Rest in between.
And a big big summer, where perhaps slot has some players in that he rates and wants.
It can only get better.
YNWA,
UP THE FU***N REDS!

JoeTheRedLFC2

1.) 17 Mar 2025 10:26:47
The team he played against Plymouth have never played together before and haven't trained together as a team either. Did you really expect that they'd produce a cohesive and well oiled display given the circumstances? We still don't know what Elliott and chiesa can do given consistent minutes in this team. I'm not saying they should start, even, just slowly give them more minutes when things aren't working or when you need fresh legs when your starting eleven are clearly exhausted, like what slot has been doing with Endo (though Endo deserves a lot more game time as many of us have been clamouring for) .

Chiesa showed a lot in the short time he was on the field last night, he had another chance where if his first touch was better he would have had a clear shot on goal. Then there was his sprint back to win the ball and immediately turn to drive up the pitch. Maybe he is not fully up to speed tactically yet and he might be a bit of a loose cannon trying to be everywhere at once but you can see he clearly has quality and he has desire, he wants to be on the end of everything in the opposition third. Surely he gives the opposition something else to think about when lucho and mo are looking dead on their feet 70-75 minutes into a game?

2.) 17 Mar 2025 10:27:46
It’s not unacceptable Joe we have no choice but to accept it.

You have to remember this was one of if not the biggest games in Newcastle’s history. It meant so, so much to them and it showed. They celebrated every tackle like it was a goal.

For us it was another in a long line of Anfield South appearances and we couldn’t match their aggression and intensity. It happens and we have to accept it as football fans. It doesn’t always go your way.

Anyone who can’t accept defeats shouldn’t support a football team as something you can always count on is that they will happen, no matter who you support.

3.) 17 Mar 2025 11:15:06
Can accept defeats but at least lose with some pride.

Robbo, tbh I kind of expected yesterday. I had a fear we wouldn’t be able to match Newcastles energy yesterday. I said to my dad: we want it but Newcastle NEED this. I’m happy for them. I’ll be happier when we lift the prem

Patrick: I understand, and I thought this too after the game, but life is not perfect, nor is football. You cannot pick the easy moments to step up. Take the game by the scruff of the neck and make something happen. Your at Liverpool football club.

No source, just a gut feeling.
I expect us to go back in for Zubimendi.
Think he might be ready to leave now, if reports are to be believed.
Ed001, I recall you saying he’s similar to Macca. I would be very happy to sign him, big clubs are after him. There’s obviously a reason. But I STILL, years later, feel we need a really physical dominant monster in mid.
Your suggestion of Baleba is perfect, exactly what we need.
My question I guess,
Is what do you know of Zub. Why does Slot want him. Who does he play alongside?

Thanks in advance.

JoeTheRedLFC2

{Ed001's Note - Slot wanted a ball-playing midfielder who can play at the base of the team, similar to the role Gravenberch plays. I don't think we will go back for him, I believe he has burnt his bridges with the club now.}

1.) 03 Jan 2025 15:28:22
I think he might be Man City bound!

2.) 03 Jan 2025 16:00:47
I think Zubimendi will stay at Sociedad and move to Madrid in the summer, I doubt he’ll go to City for the similar reasons as us, but added with the uncertainty surrounding them with the FA charges.

3.) 03 Jan 2025 16:47:09
Also the fact that once Rhodri is fit, Zub will be warming the bench at City. Pointless making a move as injury cover.

4.) 03 Jan 2025 16:54:43
Don’t want him now.

5.) 03 Jan 2025 15:51:45
Thanks Ed!
Seeing your comment earlier that a midfielder is still the priority is intriguing then.
Who may it be!?

{Ed001's Note - I don't know sorry, but that is what they have been searching for.}

6.) 03 Jan 2025 19:47:12
This Zubimendi obsession is becoming cringe. The guy rejected us and that's okay cos that gave us an opportunity to see Slot turn Gravenberch into a star in the PL. Move on.

Akira,
Your post from a few days ago mate was 118 million.
Now you’re saying 2 player's from the same club, and we know they are.
I’m assuming Frimpong and Wirtz.
If it was 30 for Frimpong, that would leave just under 90 for Wirtz. Can’t see them selling that cheap.

Love the positivity Salah. We can dream!
Imagine Wirtz, Macca, gakpo, szob, Salah, Diaz, grav, maybe a new striker too.
So much pace power, technique and quality.
Incredible.
We pray ?.

I’ve had salmonella the last week Ed, I know your struggle!

JoeTheRedLFC2

{Ed001's Note - sorry to hear that mate! I remember when salmonella was a big problem in eggs when I was a kid. It meant the price of eggs dropped, which meant that my parents basically just bought eggs for months, as they were so cheap. I hated eggs for years after that!}

And your gut feeling Ed, if you will.

JoeTheRedLFC2

{Ed001's Note - my gut feeling is that I think I ate too many eggs yesterday.}

Has he? Wow, didn’t know that. Makes even more sense now. He’d be well worth the 60-70m anyway I reckon.

Really Like Gomes too Ed. Has the legs we crave in there too. Still so young too. Would cost a pretty penny after his new contract though!

JoeTheRedLFC2

{Ed001's Note - possibly, but he has said in the past that he wants to play for us, so he might well get an agreement to leave for us. Got to be worth a try.}

Great info Ed, much appreciated!
Hopefully they can do it again!

JoeTheRedLFC2

{Ed001's Note - fingers crossed as it is clear as day that we are missing power and pace in midfield.}
