He also plays in serie A which is no way as physical or as fast as the premier league, so naturally he will get more time on the ball. Whereas in epl, he was ok but nothing special.

Pickford is absolute rubbish, he should never have been England’s no.1! Sorry but he still too prone to making stupid mistakes. The only reason we didn’t concede that many goals in the euros is because of our defenders, and even, it’s not as if we had the most difficult run in the tournament. The decent team we played was in the final and they beat us!

Well done to england getting to the semi-finals of the euros. However I can’t help feeling that we have been very lucky in the teams we have played, and had we played a decent team (playing a below par and ageing Croatia and Germany doesn’t count), I think we would have been knocked out sooner. Let’s be honest, the likes of Ukraine and Denmark aren’t really heavyweights of European or world football. But it is what is is, we just need to enjoy it whilst is lasts. I still think we will meet Italy in the final and they will beat us with their diving and time-wasting tactics.

Kopforever, that was a weak german team, with a lot of ageing players in it. I am still not going to fall for the hype. It’s not coming until it actually comes home!
