Suarez to liverpool is the latest rumour. if salah leaves. Utter tripe. Such lazy journalism.

1.) 25 Mar 2021 09:12:54
Our defense does needs a bit more bite . I'll get my coat!

2.) 25 Mar 2021 09:17:07
He’s not even half the player he was.

3.) 25 Mar 2021 09:39:57
Not that it’s going to happen, just the idea to replacing a player who almost guarantees you 20 goals a season and is in his prime with a washed up has been who doesn’t have the legs anymore is at best a terrible decision and at worst a slap in the face to the supporters, almost as bad as signing Mario Balotelli.

4.) 25 Mar 2021 10:22:50
6times: almost as bad as signing mario balotelli? Jesus some people have lost their minds. he's still the second top scorer in his league with more goals than any player has in our league and all this for a so called defensive team getting less chances than he would for other top sides. Im not saying we should sign him but f**k me what tripe do you want to talk?

5.) 25 Mar 2021 10:24:01
There is no way the club would be that stupid to bring him back after his multiple issues when with us.

6.) 25 Mar 2021 10:35:17
Never going to happen! I think when most people think of a player coming back they tend to do so with the memory of the player in their pomp. I loved him as a player but as a man. not so much. I want to keep salah. His stats are second to none.

7.) 25 Mar 2021 11:09:55
Definitely almost as bad as signing Balotelli, a huge salary, piss poor attitude and his behaviour here previously was appalling, let’s not pretend otherwise (the biting, the racism, the threats of going on strike if he didn’t get a move) . He is past it, he’d not last five minutes in a faster more physical league, against Chelsea in the champions league his movement was so poor and one paced he looked like pensioner, ironically. So yes, replacing an in his prime Salah with a way past his best and on his way out Suarez would be Balotelli levels of idiocy.

8.) 25 Mar 2021 12:12:15
Suarez as a player is unbelievable and his last season with us was probably the best individual season seen in the PL.
but as a person, I along with many, dislike him. Poor behaviour and attitude. Coincided with the way he forced a move away from us. So it’s a definite no for me (not like the rumour is true anyway)
A prime Suarez with the right behaviour and attitude would score so many goals in this Liverpool team. Unfortunately he’s let himself down on multiple occasions over the course of his career .

9.) 25 Mar 2021 12:36:11
*was unbelievable, Moreton. Was. In the past.

But still an incredibly awful person.

10.) 25 Mar 2021 13:31:08
Completely get why people wouldn’t want Suarez back at the club. Plenty of reasons; take your pick.

But don’t confuse that with the quality of the footballer. Anybody describing him as washed up and past it probably needs to take a closer look at La Liga. Suarez, despite being 34, despite having had some injury problems, despite being slower than he was, has 19 league goals this season with ten matches still to play. He is second only behind Messi this season, and has spearheaded Atletico Madrid to the top of the table. I read an article about him which, whilst acknowledging that he didn’t have the pace or mobility of a few years ago, talked about how he still dictates matches, still puts the fear of god into opponents and, most tangibly, still scores goals. It described one particular goal where, because there was no crowd noise, Suarez could be heard almost verbally commanding and orchestrating a goal through each phase of the move.

The fact that he is still doing all that despite his age and despite some injury problems tells you exactly how good a player we’re talking about. I can’t recall seeing many other players like him. He was a force of nature for us. Very talented yes, right up there, but it was the combination of that ability with his ferocious desire, effort, commitment and work rate that made him what he was. Check out a YouTube highlights package from when we beat Tottenham 5-0 in December 2013. Suarez was sensational but what I always remember was how he celebrated when Jon Flanagan scored that belter. Suarez rolled around on the floor celebrating with Flanagan, face beaming in ecstasy. No ego, no wanting to score all the goals himself, just desperate to play and win. An absolutely brilliant player at his peak. One of the very best we’ve ever had. And now, even at 34 and some way off his peak, still better than most.

A player of that profile could be a decent option. I don’t think there is any suggestion that it would be as a replacement for Salah, Mane or anybody else, but as a back up option who could regularly come off the bench or step in to play when other strikers were injured, it would be a great option for a year or two. Look at what Ibrahimovich did at Utd at a similar stage of his career. Downside would be potentially getting in the way of someone like Elliott coming through.

Anyway, I personally wouldn’t want to see Suarez back at Liverpool. Despite all the great things he did on the pitch, he let us down too badly and I don’t want anybody anywhere near our club who uses any form of racist language. But I do think it’s strange to call him washed up, past it or similar given what he’s been doing this season.

11.) 25 Mar 2021 14:17:47
6times. He’s still a very good player at the moment. Yes his legs have gone but his technique and goal scoring ability is still right up there with the best around.

I wouldn’t have him back at the club because he’s not a nice person. But as a footballer nobody can question his quality.

12.) 25 Mar 2021 14:36:06
RR he has no pace, is injury prone, not very mobile at all now (my 85 father in law moves around with more pace using two walking sticks than Suarez) and he still is very problematic because of that whole racism issue. In his day he was a great footballer (awful human being though), but that day is very very long gone and he would be a disastrous signing as he just doesn’t have the legs to keep up in a faster pace of football, the last time I saw him play was against Chelsea and he looked like a footballer who was completely shot to pieces. It was the Spanish gutter press who have literally suggested that we were interested in him as a replacement for Salah, which would be utterly bonkers as we’d be selling a player in his peak who scores 20 goals every season for a player only fit for the knackers yard. Thankfully it seems to have emanated from a particular poor source (Fichajes apparently) even for Spain, so it can be dismissed easily.

13.) 25 Mar 2021 15:32:39
Suarez has 19 league goals this season but he's 'only fit for the knackers yard', classic.
Remember the time you were telling anyone who would listed why Cornet wasn't any good based on his appearances at the AFCON and it turned out you were watching the wrong player? It bet you've just done that again.

14.) 25 Mar 2021 15:38:51
And despite all of that, 6Times, he still has 19 goals so far this season, will probably finish with mid 20s goals and is on track to win the La Liga title with Atletico Madrid this season.

You are using the example or benchmark of scoring 20 goals a season to lead to your conclusion that he is only fit for the knackers yard, when he needs one more goal this season to literally be a 20 goals a season striker this season (having also done the same in eight of the previous nine seasons) . Clearly, at this stage of his career, he's not one for the future but it's ridiculous to say a player with his current and recent record this season is washed up and only fit for the knackers yard.

But, just to say it again, I personally wouldn't want him back at Liverpool, we took some reputational and credibility damage last time he was here, and I expect that there is no substance to this rumour anyway, but I don't see how he can be described as past it, over the hill, washed up or similar when he's already scored 19 league goals this season, is second top scorer in La Liga and top scorer for the team who are top of the league.

15.) 25 Mar 2021 16:51:46
Correct me if I'm wrong but Suarez did what he did to get a move to one of the La Liga big boys. Has he played up since?

If he came to Liverpool, I wouldn't mind personally if banged in 19 goals in 25 games. We keep saying players are just personal these days, and as a human being is he any worse than the likes of John Terry or Ryan Giggs might be viewed by some?

We take him for the goals he would give us for a season or two, and that's it. Outside of the finances, everything else is irrelevant.

16.) 25 Mar 2021 16:53:55
*Personnel, not personal, sorry.

17.) 25 Mar 2021 17:38:32
Id swap him for Origi 🙏.

18.) 25 Mar 2021 18:30:53
From a purely footballing perspective, the issue with Suarez coming back isn't ability, it's his role in the team. He's definitely good enough for our squad, even at 34. But he wouldn't be first choice. Even if you're in the camp that has Firmino all but written off, (I'm not) he'd still be behind Salah, Jota and Mane in the pecking order.

Would he come back here to be a backup and rotation option? And more importantly be paid as a backup and rotation option? I don't think so. I wouldn't if I were him, especially if I was still good enough to be first choice at Athletico.

And if Salah does leave, as is the suggested pre-requisite for Suarez' signing, his replacement as a first choice player will not be a 34 year old Suarez. Not unless Michael Edwards starts eating drugs or something.

The only way I could remotely see it happening is if Mane or Salah leave, we bring in a much younger (like 18 or 19 or something) who might need a season or two to get going, and bring in Suarez as a stop gap to take the pressure off the kid who's coming in to replace a big name in the long term. And even that situation, we then have the "off pitch" history of the guy to think about.

All in all very unlikely, imo.

19.) 25 Mar 2021 18:35:02
Makes me laugh all the people who think Milner can play on forever, the bloke is 35/ 36? Suarez is 34! If he was an option from the bench I’d take him in a heart beat. Wouldn’t block the way for Elliot to develop, the guy is a winner, something we miss at the minute. I don’t for one minute expect it to happen or if it did I wouldn’t expect him to play every game but if we had him this season we’d be sitting a lot higher up the league than we currently are. Plus let’s not forget he’s one of the most exciting players I’ve ever seen play for us and I’ve been watching Liverpool from the late 70’s early 80’s!

20.) 25 Mar 2021 19:52:30
Lot of people forgetting chewy wanted out even to Arsenal got king kenny the sack!
I’m like most of u I seen him play and he’s the best player I’ve ever see play at anfield but time moves on!
From the bench course I’d love him but let’s move on!

21.) 25 Mar 2021 20:35:42
I'd put him in over Mane, all day. Which of the two would we trust more to net 20 plus next season?

In any case, I think one of the things we need to take from this past season is we need more rotation. We can't have the same players out there week in, week out. I'm sure our injuries are related to the relentless intensity the players have to contend with.

Can't see this move actually materialising, unless Eds have any insights?, but we should be real about where we are in our cycle, the club's situation, and what are/ would in fact be good moves for us.

22.) 25 Mar 2021 21:13:11
"I'd put him in over Mane, all day. "

Ah lad.

23.) 25 Mar 2021 21:46:32
As a footballer, goal scorer I would take him over Firmino every day of the week.

Hi Ed's, Sven Botman seems to be a name that has popped up again today. It seems we have been taking to his agent. have you heard anything on this one? Searched but this appears to be a recent development. Thanks.

J6

{Ed002's Note - Sven Botman (CB) Agreed move to Lille as a GM replacement in ther summer - Marseille and Inter were also interested. If Liverpool want him Lille will look to a huge profit on the small amount paid and they will not want to sell a player who has only been at the club a few months. However, it makes more sense than most of the suggestions but I don't know of any approach to Lille. Clubs speak with agents all of the time.

1.) 01 Jan 2021 12:45:08
Gonna be honest here I’ve nvr heard of the guy! Ed would he do the job we need him to do is he rated as player etc?
If the interest did come to sumthn?

{Ed002's Note - Ajax promoted Timber and Rensch ahead of Botman and let him go just because they thought he was too slow for their game - but he is well respected as a defender. He would not be what Klopp really wants but he is young and has experience at a decent level.}

2.) 01 Jan 2021 14:36:08
Cheers Ed 👍🏼.

3.) 01 Jan 2021 14:59:58
The Rumours are intensifying now with his Agency liking posts saying we are in talks.

4.) 01 Jan 2021 15:40:57
His agent is liking posts about it adamski? Not sure about this one tbh seems to have come from nowhere?

5.) 01 Jan 2021 15:47:41
It’s his lack of pace that makes me wonder if LFC will pass on him. We play a high line, defenders need to have decent pace unless they ready the game incredibly well which usually takes experience.

6.) 02 Jan 2021 06:44:32
If he has no pace he won’t fit into our team. Not more than 4 days ago, people on here where slating Rhys Williams for lack of pace against West Brom?

24 Dec 2020 10:01:30
Rumour that we are interested in militao and Garay. Any substance?

J6

1.) 24 Dec 2020 12:04:19
Garay on a free makes sense - he would only command a 2 year contract at worse.

2.) 24 Dec 2020 14:48:04
34yr old Garay who’s currently recovering from a cruciate injury?

Just seen that haaland and his agent are doing the rounds and are also holding talks with liverpool? Assume this is b. s eds? Where do you expect him to end up?

J6

{Ed002's Note - I would not hold your breath. They are discussing options with various clubs but his preferred destination is Real Madrid.}

1.) 01 Apr 2021 20:29:41
I dread to think how much the additional fees will be on top of the transfer fee!

{Ed002's Note - Huge - I know what was told to another side.}

2.) 01 Apr 2021 20:43:22
Thanks eds. Who do you think we will end up with forward wise?

{Ed002's Note - Much will depen on departures but I have explained who has been looked at.}

3.) 01 Apr 2021 20:48:45
Ed could you see Haaland and mbappe ending up at Madrid.

{Ed002's Note - That is their plan over two years.}

4.) 01 Apr 2021 20:59:30
Read reports that the 75 mill clause doesn’t come into effect till summer 2022. Dortmund would demand 150 mill this summer.

5.) 01 Apr 2021 20:59:33
Must mean we are getting Mbappe then 😉.

6.) 01 Apr 2021 21:14:22
I want patson daka personally. looks exciting and not to pricey.

7.) 01 Apr 2021 22:16:19
Madrid are going to bankrupt themselves at this rate.

8.) 01 Apr 2021 23:31:38
I don’t think we’d get either Haaland or Mbappe given the price and wage demands, but I’d love to see them both come to the premier league and see how they perform!

9.) 02 Apr 2021 02:18:56
Sounds like Mino Raiola just wants a free stadium tour.

10.) 02 Apr 2021 09:29:29
IMO, we're not in the running for Mbappe nor Haaland.

11.) 02 Apr 2021 13:05:56
Last July people were saying we definitely weren’t signing Thiago and we didn’t need another forward. Then in came Thiago and Jota. Same Was Said about a centre half all through Jan and we ended up signing two. That’s the beauty of our club and Edwards. Although I’d say it’s unlikely we will sign Haaland or Mbappe never say never.

12.) 02 Apr 2021 11:12:53
I think we’d pay a fee south of £120 million if it came to it and we were able to move on mane and maybe also firmino, the issue really is wages. We have a lot of players in need of new contracts and having a forward from a foreign league come in on £300k per week at the very least would absolutely obliterate the wage structure and unsettle all the players. We can’t be having new boys earning more than players who have delivered us so much, they’ll excuse thiago because he’s an experienced pro, but not mbappe or haaland. United made the same mistake with Sanchez and it caused absolute murder. I’m not sure any one player would be worth the money it’d take to get them to come, which is a shame because i genuinely think Haaland would be perfect and has a level of confidence in his finishing ability that i have never seen before. I really do thing he is going to be the next all time great.

13.) 02 Apr 2021 13:05:56

14.) 02 Apr 2021 14:40:12
At least we’re in the conversation for elite players. A far cry from Ricky Lambert, Borini, Stuart Downing and Charlie Adam.

15.) 02 Apr 2021 16:07:30
JK23, neither Thiago nor Jota are commanding the kind of near unattainable fees were are talking about with Haaland and Mbappe. Your comparison is a bit weird BUT I agree with your statement regarding Mbappe and Haaland. Ain't going to happen, IMO.

16.) 02 Apr 2021 17:11:36
Just re checked my comment and can’t see where I said Thiago or Jota commanded a similar fee. The only thing that isn’t weird is it was you that was saying it last July but under a different user name then. Easiest way to change your opinion is to change a username 🤦🏻‍♂️.

17.) 03 Apr 2021 04:19:10
point remains, that the deals we're making aren't these astronomical deals being made by the likes of PSG etc.

18.) 03 Apr 2021 07:58:05
Faith I bet your point a few years ago was we
Would never break the world record paid for a defender and goalkeeper in the same year either. The only people who know for definite are the club money men. Anyone else claiming to know definitely are waffling.

19.) 03 Apr 2021 04:17:48
Ed on the topic of Madrid, have they given up on Hazard or do they expect/ hope he produces next season?

{Ed002's Note - Clubs don't "give up" but the problem is that he has missed most of these season with injuries. This makes it difficult for them moving forward.}

20.) 05 Apr 2021 12:35:59
yeah, for two guys who weren't exactly being chased by the world's elite. we paid what we needed to get these next tier superstar players.

We aren't going to be competing for Haaland or Mbappe as much as I'd love to see Mbappe especially in Liverpool red

regards waffling, is that your way of ending a debate with any of us here, who are all by accounts just waffling!? lol.

24 Mar 2021 19:32:57
Mateusz Musialowski, ed1 how highly is this lad rated? Looks like a real talent. Also another one called ballyosgi? definitely wrong spelling but sounds like that. Looks quality also. Would love to hear your thoughts. Thanks.

J6

{Ed001's Note - Musialowski is really well thought of, not just within the club, but in the game in general. We seem to have picked up a gem, so long as he keeps his head down and keeps working hard.

I think you mean Balagizi, I can't think who else you could mean and he is seen as one of the best to actually graduate through the academy system. Hopefully he will be another who comes all the way through, like Jones and TAA, to play in the first team. It is nice to see academy graduates make it.}

1.) 24 Mar 2021 19:55:34
I was seeing how Musialowski was being touted as the next Lewandowski before online, high praise.
Speaking of Lewandowski ed001, if he said he quite fancied spending his last couple of years at Liverpool under Klopp would you think it would be a good fit? All things considered (age, wages etc)
Such an incredible player still.

{Ed001's Note - I can't see him as a Lewandowski type, he doesn't seem to be that type of player. Seems more like 'let's compare him to the most famous Polish footballer we can think of' rather than it being a relevant comparison.

If he was coming to try and win things, rather than coming to retire, then too right I would take him all day long! He is top class, the best out and out striker in the world.}

2.) 24 Mar 2021 20:20:18
Thanks for the speedy reply. They both look class in the little action I've seen. Great feet and touch. Really excited about them both. Have a great evening Ed's. Cheers.

{Ed001's Note - very welcome J6, take care mate.}

3.) 24 Mar 2021 20:48:32
Yeah I figured it was probably because they both have “ski” at the end of thier names lol
Looking forward to waching him progress anyway, always amazing to watch players from the academy make it with us.

{Ed001's Note - ah you might have it there!}

4.) 24 Mar 2021 21:29:54
You too Ed's.

{Ed001's Note - I will certainly try mate.}

5.) 25 Mar 2021 09:12:23
Thanks for the info, Ed01. As for whether Lewa would come to LFC, I would take him even if he came here to retire, lol. He is frankly the best and most complete CF I have seen since the likes of Marco Van Basten and "Mister" George Weah.

{Ed001's Note - very welcome and I agree, he is a special player.}

6.) 25 Mar 2021 11:18:46
He looked so slow and ponderous that year we beat Bayern in the CL, though all their team did.
Talk about a turn around. Bayern refashioned their side after that mauling, pace everywhere now.
Not sure about Lewandowski, he was top class but I think the speed and physicality of the PL may not suit him?
Sound familiar? *cough* *cough* 😄.

{Ed077's Note - 1 game. 1 poor game

7.) 25 Mar 2021 12:07:52
The front four of Musialowski, Stewart, Gordon and the German lad Fraundorf all look top notch for the u18's!

8.) 25 Mar 2021 11:42:39
Two Ed lol, both legs he was rubbish.
Left an indelible impression on me.

{Ed077's Note - Ok my bad. Let me have another go :-)

Mane has been poor this season. Would you say he is a bad player? Lewandowski is the best player in the world and has been for the past 2-3 years IMO. Bayern just had a coach unsuited to the team when you played them.}

9.) 25 Mar 2021 17:02:53
Spot on, Ed. The Juicer, then Bayern manager Niko Kovacs was terrified of our attack and he even said it before the tie. He played a pathetic game tactically as the team did not know whether to attack or defend for fear we would hit them on the break. Notice how isolated Lewandowski was against Matip and VVD in the return leg or even in the first leg?

Lewa got NO help from the manager and the tactics he employed stifled Bayern instead of helping them. Sure he was scared of the counter BUT to not have a real go at us is what was disappointing and Lewandowski even said so after the game.

For you to say that cos he was poor against us 2 years ago (none of which was his fault, btw) means he lacks the physicality to play in the PL is some strange conclusion to draw under such circumstances and after just two games against ONE PL team.

07 Mar 2021 15:50:29
Ed1, what are your thoughts? Klopp seems to have no answers at all? can't see where the next win is coming from. Would appreciate your thoughts. Thanks.

J6

{Ed001's Note - just need to stop worrying about tiredness in the next game and concentrate on winning the one in front of us first. Worry about tomorrow later.}

1.) 07 Mar 2021 16:03:54
I mean and do what ED001? You think it would have made a difference if Mane had started, or fabinho?

{Ed001's Note - I am not talking about the players picked, I am talking about the way of playing. We are not playing at high intensity because of all the injuries and worries about losing more. We just need to return to that and worry about what injuries we get when they happen.}

2.) 07 Mar 2021 16:17:40
We’ve probably lost more players through injuries since we started playing with less intensity.

3.) 07 Mar 2021 16:20:11
Sadly I don't believe the players have it in them, they all look so out of sorts, that I can't see them picking the pace up.
But would be the right direction.

4.) 07 Mar 2021 16:20:11
Sadly I don't believe the players have it in them, they all look so out of sorts, that I can't see them picking the pace up.
But would be the right direction.

5.) 07 Mar 2021 16:17:15
Who’s responsible for that Ed? Is Klopp instructing the lads to play that way or are they taking it on themselves?

{Ed001's Note - it is clearly instructions as it changed for the second half.}

6.) 07 Mar 2021 17:39:50
Or were they just given a boot up the backside at half time Ed? I don’t think there’s anyone better than Klopp out there for us at the moment but this season has been pitiful.

{Ed001's Note - it will have been both.}

7.) 07 Mar 2021 18:21:26
Against Rbl we should play the low block and hit them on the counter. The players are not up to pressing atm. We can’t afford to go behind we will implode.

17 Feb 2021 18:26:03
Good result last night and relieved to get a win finally. Was it just me Ed's or was Ali's kicking all over the place?

J6

{Ed001's Note - he was rushing his kicks and they were wayward as a result. It was an instruction though to get it forward as fast as possible.}

1.) 17 Feb 2021 19:27:08
Also to me it looked like we played as many passes to him while was under pressure in that game as we normally would in about four games.

2.) 17 Feb 2021 19:55:58
Yeah you are right, he did seem to be rushing them slightly. Just needs to take his time a little. That was an excellent part of his game. Guess lacking in confidence slightly and this will help. Still the best keeper on the planet at the moment imo. Cheers eds.

{Ed001's Note - I agree.}

3.) 17 Feb 2021 20:21:55
I can handle a few wayward ones as long as they are not directly to an opposing player in the box. 🙈.

4.) 17 Feb 2021 20:59:17
I think he is being told to do the basics for now as in, get it out quickly so he can get his confidence back. Withvtime, things will get better.

5.) 17 Feb 2021 22:14:49
I got the impression that the policy was if the opposition try to close you down just boot it up field for the first 20 minutes or so.
Once they stop expecting a mistake play your normal game.

6.) 18 Feb 2021 14:44:22
there was a part when Hendo and Ali played keep ball between each other for something like 4 or 5 passes. lol, I was sitting there waiting for a disaster before Ali finally smashed it up field hahahaa.

30 Jan 2021 12:43:16
Presumably Ed's, a transfer or loan is going to need to happen by sunday?

{Ed002's Note - Monday at 2300 in England and most, but not all of Europe.}

J6 this window has been covered a 1001 times now 👀🤣. On a serious note though i have everything crossed that we can get something across the line by Monday evening.

2.) 30 Jan 2021 13:18:08
Thanks ed, is that long enough for us to buy? Or would you say a loan would be more likely?

{Ed002's Note - One of the problems with buying is that it would likely not be who Klopp wants in the longer-term.}

3.) 30 Jan 2021 13:32:56
Mustafi anyone cos that is the link making the rounds right now?

4.) 30 Jan 2021 14:22:37
Mustafi is shockingly bad OliRed, he’s been terrible at Arsenal.

{Ed047's Note - you’re really not a fan 6times 🤷‍♂️🤣

5.) 30 Jan 2021 14:43:07
I’ve never seen Mustafi play but he’s only 28 and a World Cup winner. Does anyone know did he have a bad injury or lose confidence or what happened to him?

6.) 30 Jan 2021 15:22:34
Kleberson won the World Cup and he was sh*te, so that’s not really a mark of quality. Mustafi is rash, poor in the air, has no ability to read the game and has mistakes in him. He literally makes Lovren look like Alan Hansen.

7.) 30 Jan 2021 15:37:22
Cheers 6 Times, hopefully we’ll try for Diop so!

8.) 30 Jan 2021 16:21:24
Cheers ed2. So are you expecting a loan and who would you say is most likely? I know you mentioned subotic but I have a feeling Edward's will pick something out the hat.

{Ed002's Note - I cannot say who is the most likely to join but I can say buying the sort of long-term player Klopp wants will be very in January which means they will look toward a loan or end up buying a player they do not really want.}

I agree irish. the funny thing is that wasn't what I asked but some people are a little obsessed with it and liverpool. I agree it's not the way to do things at all but it's does get a little tedious.

OK eds. if you say so. That was not what I was doing but if that's what you want to think that's all good. Peace. Just an unanswered question but I'll survive. Have a good evening eds. 🙏.

{Ed077's Note - unprofessional conducts that are against the rules don't happen all the time J6, even though you said they do.

OK eds, you didn't really answer my question and once again I was not excusing the behaviour, how could I be when I don't know what it is you are referring to regarding konate. I was just curious but I'll take the hint that you don't want to go into it and it makes you prickly lol. Thanks anyway.

J6

{Ed002's Note - You are trying to offset the repeated cheating by saying it happens all of the time in football. This is, as I have often explained, the usual lame excuse rolled out by Liverpool supporters and it is very embarrassing.}

Not an excuse eds, I don't know what you are referring to as you said you aren't going there, so how can I have an excuse for something I don't know about? I'm simply saying that it's not for me to worry about or know about alleged behaviour of the club in these situations. It would be great if you could elaborate a little and then there may be solid grounds for me to have an actual opinion. Genuinely curious as what these acts are you refer to a lot but then refuse to be drawn on them. ? Thanks.

J6

{Ed002's Note - It has been explained over and over and I very much doubt the rest of the site want the issue opened up all again. It leads to the same embarrassing excuse as you have used.}

Come on hailstones, no way you had seen or heard of him b4 the spurs game! No harm in admitting it mate 😉 funny that you are pretending you had though lol.

J6

{Ed077's Note - yeah Liverpool need another attacking player in their late 20s, there's not enough of them already in the first team squad.}

Konate, bissouma and daka for me. Daka looks lethal and if we can pick him up for around 30 million it would be a steal. Grealish would also be a consideration but would be silly money. I'd definitely make daka a priority though, above all else.
