Will Klopp be looking to integrate Elliot into the team for next season? Exciting young chap. Also is there any notable interest in Grujic in England? Could he be used as a makeweight for any potential deal inland?

IsaacH1807

{Ed002's Note - Elliott is still young but he will get opportunities I would think. There is interest in Grujic but not from England at this time.}

1.) 14 Jul 2020 11:27:01
I believe the interest is from Lazio?

{Ed002's Note - Borussia Monchengladbach and Lazio have been talking to his agent and Liverpool will likely get offers from both clubs.}

2.) 14 Jul 2020 12:29:27
Possible swap deal for Thurman Ed’s?
Decent player from the minimal bits I’ve seen, have LFC looked at him?

{Ed002's Note - No, just another random player.}

3.) 14 Jul 2020 15:32:42
elliott is a fantastic, incredibly skilled, and smart player but needs to show he can finish at this level before he gets regular minutes. i've seen more from curtis jones in that regard than elliott, even if curtis wishes he could get another crack at some of this chances he had against burnley. the whole team was pretty flat that day too though.

4.) 14 Jul 2020 19:51:29
Both clubs looking to buy outright?

14 Jun 2020 19:14:15
Any substantial interest in Ruben Neves? Or just lazy linking?

IsaacH1807

{Ed002's Note - As a Fabinho replacement? I would doubt it.}

I don't see losing out on Werner as being the be all and end all first and foremost. Wouldve liked him at LFC but alas, wasnt to be.

With that being said and it's by no means an *upgrade* does this mean Big Div is going to be staying for at the very least another season do we know? Cult hero would be sad to see him leave but would he be happy being impact sub?

IsaacH1807

{Ed002's Note - Right now he looks like staying.}

1.) 10 Jun 2020 03:10:03
Hi Ed002, can you please elaborate further on why he is staying? It is widely reported that a deal has been agreed with Chelsea, although his club is denying it. Is it a case that he's holding out for a Liverpool move? Cheers.

{Ed002's Note - I was talking about Origi and it looks like you don't understand the situation with Werner.}

2.) 10 Jun 2020 08:34:58
If he does stay klopp needs too play him as a centre forward down the middle not on the wings .

3.) 10 Jun 2020 09:59:00
With our money issues, i don't mind if we keep Shaq and Lovren. Play Elliot, Jones and Williams more regularly and play Origi as CF/ ST.

If we can't buy, we move on. We got this far with our current squad and Klopps coaching. We can go one more season with them.

4.) 10 Jun 2020 09:59:13
I like Origi, doesn’t kick up a fuss if he’s not playing, gives 100% when he does, although not a world beater, he’s good enough to grab vital goals in big matches and is a decent target man if needed as well.

5.) 10 Jun 2020 10:37:43
Dear Ed002, you think Gini will renew his contract?

{Ed002's Note - I see no reason why not at this time.}

24 May 2020 15:34:37
Just read about Liverpool being interested in Adama Traore? Probably just nonsense in the papers but where would he fit in? Back up to Trent/ Salah? Then what about Minamino?

IsaacH1807

{Ed002's Note - I am not aware of any approach for Traore from Liverpool - another side enquired and were quoted a ridiculous price. Liverpool do not have the funds to buy expensive squad players, he would therefore be a replacement for Salah as his natural position is RW. I would think a move unlikely.}

1.) 24 May 2020 16:31:28
Journalists have got nothing to run so are making stuff up, we won't be buying any RW/ LW starters unless others move on.

Is there any truth in the Jamal Lewis reports?

IsaacH1807

{Ed002's Note - Read the posts.}

27 Jul 2020 13:52:52
Jones, Brewster and Neco Williams seem to be the 3 most likely to feature in first team next season. Glatzel also? Or is he looking to be loaned out? How is Bobby Duncan going on in Italy anyway?

IsaacH1807

{Ed002's Note - There won’t be plans for PG just yet.}

1.) 27 Jul 2020 13:58:41
Bobbys agent will no doubt advise him its time for a move this summer as I don't think he's featured at all in the first team.

23 Jul 2020 21:48:11
Brewster to be impact sub or full season away on loan?

IsaacH1807

1.) 23 Jul 2020 22:17:32
Full season away.

2.) 23 Jul 2020 22:33:07
I'm tending more towards impact sub rather than loan player, especially if we don't buy anyone to backup the front 3. Let's create a higher level of pressure for those front positions for Mane, Firmino, Salah, Origi, Minamino and Brewster. Sure, there's a clear difference in quality, but let's have the starters look behind and worry about being caught up.

3.) 23 Jul 2020 22:54:03
Loan at Swansea esp. if they get promoted OR at a PL club if possible.

4.) 23 Jul 2020 22:59:28
The lad needs to be playing to develop, not watch our front three and that's it.

5.) 23 Jul 2020 23:19:08
loan. for his development and our benefit in the longer term.

6.) 23 Jul 2020 23:39:01
Ideal scenario, Swansea get promoted and Brewster stays there for another year.

7.) 23 Jul 2020 23:18:54
I say bring him back, if these lads don’t get a chance we have no idea if there good enough.
He is more likely to get chances especially if there is 5 subs again (I hope there won’t be but seems likely) . Then if he doesn’t meet the grade we can then decide if he needs a loan or sold.
The way origi was acting yesterday it seems he could be leaving so bring back Brewster with a replacement for shaq, someone like Brandt would be my choice. Then let jones take Lallanas Place, and get cover for the left side. we haven’t got loads of money floating around so we need to trust these youngsters where possible.

8.) 23 Jul 2020 23:35:30
Season long loan to Leeds or Brighton.

9.) 23 Jul 2020 23:39:26
They won't be caught up by a young lad sitting on the bench every week. He needs a good year on loan.

10.) 24 Jul 2020 03:13:11
Remember, he's scoring for the swans, not cl level. He is obviously massively talented and for that reason the selfish part of me say, but what's the point if he's not going to play. Klopp clearly likes Firmino, origi finds it hard, mino finds it hard, both origi and the ox can play the wide forward positions. Both big players, probably ahead of brewster. I'd love to see him get a chance and grab it by the scruff of the neck. Didn't he score nearly every game in pre season. But a loan move would be best for him and for us on the long run.

11.) 24 Jul 2020 05:40:51
Sell salah get the money,
Balance books, Buy in a good backup LB and a starter defender

Frankly brewster won't get his fair chance with us as long as one of salah mane of firmino aren't moved.

12.) 24 Jul 2020 07:53:02
Sell Salah You mean our top goalscorer for the past 3 seasons?

Oh man, I have lost the will to live after reading that!

How about we sell Origi to free up space for Brewster? That's a much better option which will actually not ruin the squas strength.

13.) 24 Jul 2020 04:47:55
If Origi was to leave (no idea if that's a thing), who comes on to score or start when someone is injured if not Brewster? Often if a player does well on loan then offers come in for us to sell and as he hasn't proven himself in our team the offer is usually taken. We won't know if he is good enough until he's in the squad. Do we sign a "lesser" striker to play backup or do we keep him in the squad? What are your thoughts Ed001? I'm not a huge fan of the loan system but I'm a bit old.

{Ed001's Note - I hate the loan system, it falsely alters the league system and gives some teams an advantage over others. It is a form of cheating. It should be scrapped so we stop seeing managers such as Lampard at Derby taking loan players from Chelsea they would otherwise never get. It gave them an unfair advantage last season. And who can forget how Fergie recalled loanees from Preston after they sacked his son? It is wrong. If you can't find a way to develop or use them within the squad, then they shouldn't be at a club.

Brewster looks like he needs to be playing to be honest, I am not sure him as a back up would be the right move.}

14.) 24 Jul 2020 08:11:16
Keep him, there's a lot of fixtures in a season and a hell of a lot of rotating, he will get his chances, let him have that chance at the very top, I think he'll thrive. It's his time to shine now.

Aksh*t, how about we sell Trent and VVD whilst we're at it? my word! some comments on here are mind boggling at times.

15.) 24 Jul 2020 08:18:03
IB, I thought Akrubbish was joking with the first paragraph at first but it seems like he really meant it.

16.) 24 Jul 2020 11:10:55
Yep i was pretty serious there.
It makes all sense to sell salah.

{Ed025's Note - no to me mate..

17.) 24 Jul 2020 11:38:37
We will sell him at some point mate. We could do with money in this point of time if it were to be reinvested in the squad/ stadium/ debts
Yea he scores a ton but am not sure he is entirely irreplaceable or are his goals.
Just my thoughts of course.
Clubs without moneybags need to act very smart next few years and some players are assets. We are lucky to have so many good players all around that we can sell one if need be to balance it all out.
Of course all this is just hypothetical and my thoughts. But a 150 million something could do the club a world of good.

18.) 24 Jul 2020 12:41:55
Here’s hoping swansea get promoted and Brewster gets his prem loan!

19.) 24 Jul 2020 17:57:16
I think a loan will help him a world of good. After the injuries, i didn't think he would come back on the same but his obviously find some form.
I see Defoe is injured so maybe a loan to Rangers can help.

20.) 24 Jul 2020 22:21:02
I understand akrubbishs point v I've often said Salah is the most replaceable out of the front 3.
