Seen reports today that we would sell Firmino for 20 million euros in the summer and that he’s been offered to Barcelona. Any truth in this? And if so, what would be the angle? It seems a strange move to me.

We had a big contract renewal phase not that long ago. I think if Mane and Bobby were getting new contracts, it probably would have happened during that round of renewals.

I keep seeing reports that Louis Diaz is looking to leave for Spain. Any truth in this? His father is reported to be pushing it.

Problem we have with Diogo is injuries though, which is a massive problem for us throughout the squad. Too many of our big hitters love an injury.

Didn't Pep also have a dig at Cancelo, not a bad player, Pep just didn't want him after his change of formation. I don't think Phillips is the answer for a starting spot but we could do worse and have done. End of the day he is homegrown, an international capped player and shown he can work hard for the right manager. To me he is worth a gamble, if he doesn't work out at least we will get a fee for him with the inflated HG prices.
