Wayne Rooney left Everton, got married, had 3 kids, won 16 trophies, went bald, had a hair transplant, became Man United's top goalscorer, had an extramarital affair, returned to Everton, went to the MLS, became manager of Derby County, they got relegated, left to become Birmingham manager, got sacked, became the manager of Plymouth, got sacked and yet Arsenal still hasn’t won the Premier League.

That's brilliant Disneyland ?.
2.) 02 Jan 2025 17:30:56
Disneyland, let’s remain humble. We went 30 years without a league title and we haven’t won anything yet.
3.) 02 Jan 2025 19:19:39
Totally agree Man. of. todd, Arsenal play first this weekend I think and a win means that 9 point gap is down to 3. Its ok saying, but we have 2 games in hand, that means nothing. Games in hand are not points on the board . The simple fact is 9 points could become 3 in the space of a week. Stay humble as if United pull of a shock like they did against City and Arsenal win we will start to feel it.

i didn't find it funny either. i started supporting this club when i was 7 years old and we had won nothing for 2 years or so, then that wait for a league title went on for 29 more years. So yeah.
5.) 02 Jan 2025 22:34:36
I found it funny, personally. That doesn't automatically mean I'm mocking Arsenal or even Chelsea about their title drought either.
Neither do I think @Disney's joke has any control over the universe or how we will perform this weekend either.

Another horrible stat. When was the last time we won the title when Tories not the government? Let’s hope we change that stat this season.
7.) 02 Jan 2025 23:52:53
Jesus lads we've 1 title in 35 years. People in glass houses and all that.
8.) 03 Jan 2025 04:43:43
It's a joke people. relax.

Well I hope they are Ed01. We will need a a bare minimum 4 players (and that’s excluding Salah / VVD) . There is no reason for them not to sign one in January.
01 Jan 2025 12:27:34
We have the 5th highest wage bill which is nowhere near UTD, City or even Chelsea / Arsenal. I am
Surprised the club has no other revenue stream than selling players for transfers.
What are their plans when we will need a RB, LB, CB are bare minimum in less than 6 months?
{Ed001's Note - or is this because they are preparing to buy those players?}
01 Jan 2025 11:25:11
Except Gravenberch cannot play 90 games a season and Endo isn’t cut at it. We need a midfielder badly.
I am not surprised by our lack of transfer movement. If happened in the past as well.
What an opportunity to create history and here are saving wages.
FSG my god!
{Ed001's Note - it is the European financial regs, not FSG, that require the wage savings.}

I thought you knew it well before @Beckers, the confidence you have shown over the weeks on “how club is secretly working behind the scenes”.
06 Jan 2025 18:53:16
And Virgil mopping up all the leftovers lol.

Not fussed on UTD. But city are capable of winning the next 18 games. We have some very tricky / tough away games left. The “Game in Hand” is at away to Everton who would move heaven and earth to beat us.
We have forest away
Brentford away
City away
Cheslea away
Sorry I can’t see us winning all.
Call me whatever you want but home games are a must win to win the league and CL.
06 Jan 2025 09:27:07
The game in hand is away to Everton which we are not winning as it stands. So there goes the advantage.
Now onto the rebuild, do you wish to start next season with the same Robertson, (No Trent), No actual DM, 4 midfielders for 3 positions, An injury prone Gomez and injury prone Konate, 33 year old VVD spread across 65 games a season
What did I miss? Yes we need a rebuild
We need a RB
We need a LB
We need at least one CB
We also need atleast one Midfielder
We would also need to replace Nunez.
06 Jan 2025 08:30:36
He can go and good luck to him. But he needs to decide NOW. We still need a top class RB then which will cost upwards £50 mill and I can’t see that happening. The club needs another rebuild.
05 Jan 2025 21:10:54
I don’t have a problem in Trent leaving to Madrid. But I am sure FSG ain’t spending £50 mill on a new right back. So I ll keep him.
