Hey Ed,

I know we had interest in Asensio before, looks like Madrid are ready to let him go. Do we still hold interest?

DR scouse

{Ed002's Note - No.}

Ed1, what's happened to Billy k? Is he not in klopps thoughts at the moment or did his injury slow his progress?

DR scouse

{Ed001's Note - from what I can gather it is a bit of both.}

Hes been getting a lot of stick on here the last few weeks and he has been a shadow of himself but Bobby was brilliant tonight. dropping so deep to stop the foxing building attacks from their dangerous men, and then linking the play from thay deep role! Hopefully that goal gives him a confidence boost and he get a few more. QUALITY.

1.) 22 Nov 2020 21:48:41
Naby was very good, until it lasted of course!

2.) 22 Nov 2020 21:50:17
He did play well tonight mate.

Opposition fans in particular find it hard to strip and pick this Liverpool team apart so they'll go after someone like Firmino cos of those little stats that don't look flattering.

But is what it is just smile and wave at the top ☺️.

3.) 22 Nov 2020 22:02:14
I've criticised, but he was brilliant tonight. fair play.

4.) 22 Nov 2020 22:30:30
He really was excellent. And even if he didn’t get that header, he still played great.

5.) 22 Nov 2020 22:42:13
Alot of debate over Bobby or Diogo, but j really like the both in a front three. People picking out people who played well, but everyone was on it tonight. Fantastic champions performance.

6.) 22 Nov 2020 23:25:36
I have spoken out against Bobby on his recent form but he back to his best tonight. Let’s hope it does his confidence good and he stays at that level.

7.) 23 Nov 2020 03:34:45
Brilliant performance from the whole squad - cracking game and just hope Fabinho, Matip and AB remain fit as we were really solid at the back.

{Ed0666's Note - if Matip stays injury free till January I’ll be Eds 001’s man slave from now until eternity.

8.) 23 Nov 2020 09:22:39
Bobbie had a blinder of a game today and the fact that we pressed well as a team truly helped him cos he got a lot of support as well. Could have had a hatrick today with a bit more luck BUT even w/ o the goal, his link up play, movement and hold up play were excellent. The Bobbie of old, really. Not that he ever left.

Constructive criticism is good as it can only help to find better solutions and I am all for that but the rubbish I have read on here and other SM platforms and the media, is just embarrassing. I read in the media where they were trying to make Jota look like Bobbie's rival or something and many in our fan base bought that crap too. Shame really, after all Bobbie has done for us and continues to do for us.

Some of the negativety on here is unreal, I get its a page to share what ever you want but Jesus christ have a holiday, had to come off the chat earlier and previously just people moaning and slating the players, 8mins in today and people slating nat phillips saying he was getting bullied.

No one would think we have won 2 games in Europe and up there in the league god help if we lose a game and drop some points.

I was in the chat for the majority of the game and I think you’re exaggerating, the slightest bit of criticism and some fans feel like the chat is being toxic, apparently you can’t point out any negatives anymore. Whilst I agree, the chat and some fans beyond that on other platforms can go overboard sometimes, I just think some can’t take that some fans have any sort of criticism related to anything to do with the club. Like if you say firmino is playing poorly and should be dropped, you’re essentially not a fan of Liverpool apparently. People like that, for me, are just as bad as the fans that go overboard with the criticism. How about a bit of balance, when we are losing, expect some fans to be disgruntled. Especially since, we haven’t been playing particularly well recently, and some players continue to perform badly and still start games. Some fans get frustrated, but what I saw today was not as bad as you’re making it out to be.

2.) 31 Oct 2020 22:33:44
It was a very good live chat tonight. One person mentioned Phillips getting bullied and the rest of the posters on there sung his praises. If you had stuck around you would have seen that. Leaving after 8 mins and then moaning about it on here is either a case of no one else is allowed an opinion different from yours or snowflake generation.

3.) 31 Oct 2020 22:38:16
Kman 100% mate. Chat has been excellent lately. Yet there’s loads of people bitching and crying about it who don’t even post on there during live chats.

4.) 31 Oct 2020 23:33:14
It does get toxic on there, even when we win.

Who was it said jota was class? Little goal machine eh. He is knocking on the door now. Great signing.

5.) 01 Nov 2020 08:33:49
Robbie cheers for proving my point 👍.

6.) 01 Nov 2020 10:53:42
I was on the chat for the majority and it wasn't bad. Sure it does get a bit negative but that is mainly due to supporter frustrations at how poorly we were playing. Nat Phillips actually had a lot of support yesterday, shoulda stuck with it. Wasn't toxi tbh.

7.) 01 Nov 2020 11:56:30
The chat wasn't bad at all yesterday but there is the same few that do seem to have an already made agenda of coming on to wind others up and slag players off, namely Kloppo and Casey. Constructive criticism is fine imo, unfortunately I would say the above mentioned don't know the meaning of the word. Funnily enough they don't seem to post too much on here 🤔.

8.) 01 Nov 2020 13:26:42
I don’t go on the chat during games hence, I have no opinion on it.

9.) 01 Nov 2020 16:17:14
Firstly it was me that said Philips got bullied for "ONE" ball that lead to the goal for West Ham. He did play well over all. Secondly what's the point in having a live chat if you are only allowed say everything is brilliant when at times it's not? If some people want to bury their head in the sand that's fine but I won't.

I know im going to get shot down for this but how exciting would a Liverpool, Everton title race 😁.

DR scouse

{Ed047's Note - 🤪🔫🤣

1.) 20 Sep 2020 00:14:26
I always get funny looks for saying this but despite being rivals, i have no hatred for the Ev (only United) . I’d much sooner see them do well and win things than any of the manchester or london clubs. A liverpool-everton title race would be incredible. Hopefully the derbies this season will actually be good!

{Ed0666's Note - Hate is a teeny bit over the top no mate? I pity them over the other side of the East lands road. It’s provides me with so much joy that they spend squillions yet can’t produce a winning team.. long may Ole keep driving that bus, coach, truck or whatever it is he drives.

2.) 20 Sep 2020 03:16:38
Ed0666 - Ole is at the wheel of a garbage truck!

3.) 20 Sep 2020 06:04:20
Anonymous Woolback - weird comment. United are our absolute biggest rivals, no other club comes close, including Everton.

4.) 20 Sep 2020 00:54:19
It's understandable Everton fans getting excited. But they're going to fade away. From what I've seen it's city and Liverpool again. I was doubtful we'd retain the league but I'm quite confident having watched the competition.

I do think Everton will be back where they bdlong this season - 7th. No offence ed25.

{Ed025's Note - your so full of it robbie, lest we forget that you were in the doldrums for the past 29 years, you are on the top of the tree for now but things can change very quickly in football my friend, and when that bow breaks i will be there in my jester suit doing a funny little dance..

5.) 20 Sep 2020 07:11:48
Is that not a normal weekend for you Ed025?

{Ed025's Note - well it was up until you won it last year barry.. :)

6.) 20 Sep 2020 08:00:01
Sundays bring the best out of you Ed025, Lol. Better get some practice; it will be a few decades before you get to do any funny dances. 😜.

{Ed025's Note - you hope ArAy, my bladder on a stick is at the ready and the bells on my shoes polished to a very high standard, my tricorn hat sits in the corner just waiting for the bell to toll when your throne crumbles and you descend back into your also ran status to the delight of the rest of the footballing world...have a nice day mate.. :)

7.) 20 Sep 2020 08:19:25
Wd0025 WBA were just as bad defensively yesterday as Everton were good. I actually really enjoyed watching the game and if Livermore hadn’t hit the post it might have been a tougher match. Everton can only play what’s out in front of them though and fair play they were very clinical and entertaining. The most entertaining part was watching Pickfords attempted dive for the first goal. I’d say he’s your weak link for the season mate.

{Ed025's Note - i would agree JK..

8.) 20 Sep 2020 08:34:37
AW - apologies - misread. Thought you were talking about United!

9.) 20 Sep 2020 08:41:25
Sending off changed the game ed, was glad to see James Rodríguez was ok after that vicious attack 😉.

{Ed025's Note - sadly thats all part of the game now roro, to be honest gibbs was stupid and got what he deserved mate, actually salah used to dive more than greg louganis but he seems to have cleaned his act up recently..

10.) 20 Sep 2020 09:06:30
Your right there ed mate. Gibbs deserved what he got.

11.) 20 Sep 2020 09:08:25
Perhaps we should build some inter club relations Ed0025 and ask Salah to teach Pickford how to dive. He might get near an actual shot then 😂.

{Ed025's Note - not a bad idea that JK.. :)

12.) 20 Sep 2020 09:36:22
Ed25, Everton are free to be as excited as they want. It is part of the game. Will they fade away? We shall see cos this season is going to throw up some surprises (even tho Palace smashing Utd at the Toilet is now a given, lol) .

As for Salah diving, that is 2 years ago and ain't dived so no point beating a dead horse. I would ask Pickford to catch a ball BUT I know he can't and at this point, won't.

{Ed025's Note - yeah as i said RM salah has cleaned up his act and is a better and more respected player for that, im just happy that we are competative mate and yes we need a couple more players, and a keeper for one, but rome was,nt built in a day so onwards and upwards my friend..

13.) 20 Sep 2020 09:53:53
While I agree Pickford plays like a sleeping alley-cat I think you also have a weakness at CB, Ed025. But I think I heard you're expected to sign one, is that right?

{Ed025's Note - we are after tomori on loan from chelsea JM, but chelsea could see us as a threat so im not sure that will happen, with holgate and branthwaite injured we do need strengthening in that area and im sure carlo is on the case mate..

14.) 20 Sep 2020 14:43:20
I'm glad Everton are a very good team this season. They always lift themselves against us but this year I can see them actually taking points off our rivals for a change.

15.) 20 Sep 2020 14:48:37
Personally, I'd love to see a Liverpool-Everton title race. If not that then a FA Cup final.

16.) 20 Sep 2020 12:24:46
Tomori never. comes, Ed.

{Ed025's Note - love it IDOG..

17.) 20 Sep 2020 15:23:22
I meant 6th place ed25. Maybe higher. But it takes a squad to mount a title challenge (I'm guessing just being mentioned in a title challenge is music to the ears mate) not a couple of good players.

I think Everton have a chance of making top four though, with a bit of luck. But you could finish 11th too. Its only been two matches.

{Ed025's Note - im not getting carried away robbie, i have seen false dawns before mate but we do look a lot more solid this term..

02 Sep 2020 16:18:27
Only ever posted once and the post was back last year, it was at the same time everyone was panicking about not making a shiny big signing and saying that we needed one to over take city! My post was that I was happy that we wasn't selling any of our players and the squad was staying together.

Its the same this year, We've kept all the squad together which keeps the same mentality. Couple of hungry young boys coming into the fold.

Jeeezz guys chill out mun.

OP, it’s that time of the year where the reactionaries are out in force, I’m afraid.

Me too red meister! I have a saucepan on my head and a damn hefty broom in my hands. I too am afraid.

I think people are really quick to dismiss the impact the young lads will have an impact on our squad/ team this year. Elliot was starting last before his injury and by all accounts has been working hard to get that sharpness back, Carvalho is a very special talent and Jones is more than capable of playing and starting games this year. Fans are very fickle and will happy write off some of these boys because they are young, raw and unproven but with the 3 of fab, thiago and hendo, then these 3 rotating I think is more than enough and I'm excited what they can do!

I know at times like we seen on Sunday its natural to look at excuses but the true hard facts are, they were up for it more than us, the beat us to every second ball, Dean Smith tactics were spot on and we were beaten by a better team on the day. Nothing else nothing more.

Ed 25 don't put us all in the same boat. i think Everton are looking fantastic. Really enjoyed watching football they've played the last few games (🤢) I believe they will be up there this year. My only worry for you is pickford, reminds me of how nervous I used to be when teams put the ball in the box with 2 certain keepers we used to have! However I think you will outscored teams and carlo has the ability to set his teams up differently when needed to protect him. can't wait for the Derby. Shkuld be a good tactical battle this year.

DR scouse

{Ed025's Note - i usually hate the thought of the derby these days DR but i must admit im getting excited about this one, i usually watch it from behind the couch through the gap in my fingers but not this year..well not to start with mate.. :)

What people need to remember is that he is young and raw and still learning his trade. When Trent started back there he didn't exactly have faultless performances, he developed over getting game time.
The lad will be fine and develop. Just idiots spouting crap as they have nothing else to do in their pathetic lives.
