Ed2 when a club declares an interest in another clubs player what exactly does it mean? Is it that if the club receives an offer for that said player the declared interested clubs are made aware etc?

Jack grealish the £100 million man has claimed city only needed another 5 mins to take the game to extra time, and that had it gone to extra time there would of only been one winner …. CITY due to the momentum they had from scoring. I mean I knew he wasn’t the brightest bud Jesus he must of been watching the game on fantasy football. After failing to win in their last 3 consecutive games and dropping 9 points in their last 9 EPL games Pep must be preparing them mentally for the upcoming herculean battle coz that's what is going to define their season.

You can tell that Pep is the Chief Propaganda Officer at City. His players seem to repeat the very same thing he tells them, trying to convince them that things aren’t as bad as they have become over the past couple of months. From the position they were in, yeah it’s gotten really bad.
That’s cool. It shows esp after yesterday and after the game at the Etihad, that they are furious with the result in both games hence, are trying to play things down to act like it’s all good. Grealish was just being honest. They did have the momentum in the final 5 minutes and another 5 could have seen them get an equaliser. I don't disagree with that statement at all. Despite our dominance throughout the game our backs were against the wall once they got their second goal but time ran out for them.
However, there's no chance they would have beaten us in extra time. Their legs had gone long before ours in the league match and they didn't rest players mid-week like we did. Our superior fitness would have destroyed them over another 30 minutes.

Love it when managers and players come out in front of the Press and start with their "would haves, could haves and should haves". As the famous saying goes (which I learnt on here), "if my Aunt had b*lls, she'd be my Uncle". In other words, so what?
So rare these days that they come out and say "we stunk the place up, and we were beaten by the better team, today" (I've heard it said on some occasions) . But we can't have a 100 Million man with the fashion hairdo come out and say that, can we. 😉.

I honestly don’t get the paper or pundits love in with city. “Liverpool edged city to a 3-2 win†it wasn’t even close it should have been 4/ 5 to Liverpool the score flattered city they where well beaten today.

Were they? We had 2 (maybe even all 3) goals gifted to us, all of which Allison would’ve stopped. Not to mention, Allison did his thing on a few really good scoring opportunities.

Agreed. This was not the same ManC team that we faced for the 2-2 draw; we could have, should have scored more. In fact what we did to them in the first half today was far more dominant than what they did to us in the previous game. They all seemed lost.
But I think there are reasons for it. Atletico really tired them out, both mentally and physically. And Pep refused to use the substitutions he was entitled to, which is something I don't understand. He is one of the most vocal supporters of the 5 players rule, and he clearly has the best bench in the league. De Bruyne being injured had an effect too, but I think it's minor in comparison to the other reasons because we have all seen ManC roll all over opponents, without him, in the past.
I said we will win, and we did. 🌞.

I don’t agree that all three goals were gifts, the second yes. The first was not Steffen’s faul it was poor defending. mane’s second was great team play and at the speed it happened I don’t think it is a “routine saveâ€.

TJ Red, they gifted us goals? When? The fist one was off a corner, an excercise we are the absolutely best at in the PL with 19 headed goals this season. You think that’s a gift? Or luck?
The other goal was due to relentless pressing by Mane Wo forced the mistake from the GK. If he doesn’t press then, the goal does NOT happen. The third goal came off one of the best moves of our season so again, what husks where we gifted? We got the win had the result flattered City do let’s take that to the next game instead of engaging in worthless criticism.

For me it’s more than mental. They had psg syndrome teams in the league lie down to them and just roll
Over. Only LFC and probably Chelsea and spurs go for them. They play bigger teams who actually play and they struggle. Pep is a good manager but he hasn’t won the champs league without messi and he never will. He’s the greatest cheque book manager ever, but he has the arrogance that let's him down every time. They go 1-0 up and he takes his best player off. Also grealish wtf is that.
