Hi ED01 or ED02, I hope all is well with you all, and thanks for all the hard work you all do for us.

Just one question: Do you see us signing anyone else by the end of the transfer window?

Thank you again ED01 and ED02

Bravesun

{Ed002's Note - Yes.}

Hi ED's Hope all is well with you all and thanks for all the hard work you all do for us.

Just a quick question . I believe Nabil Fekir still wants to join Liverpool, However does Klopp still want the player?

Thanks Again Ed's.

Bravesun

{Ed001's Note - yes.}

1.) 07 Aug 2018 06:23:10
Do you think a deal can be reached in the coming days ed01? Thanks.

{Ed001's Note - can? Of course it can. Pretty much anything 'can' happen.}

2.) 07 Aug 2018 06:56:16
But will it is the question lol?

3.) 07 Aug 2018 08:08:18
Aren't you supposed to cross somebody's palm with silver when you ask them to gaze into their crystal ball?

4.) 07 Aug 2018 10:21:51
Not this again chaps. Fekir not happening as has been explained. No contact with Lyon since pre world cup as has been explained. 2 days left of window with the only possible a GK as has been explained. We have our lot.

5.) 07 Aug 2018 10:54:08
I am not suggesting that any media source is accurate, however radio city did report this morning that, 'Chelsea are favourites to sign former Liverpool target Nabil fekir', I am sure ed01 or ed02 could perhaps shed more light on this. Having said that, if Lfc are now not interested then it would be a question for the Chelsea page!

{Ed002's Note - If it is discussing "favourites" one assumes it is talking about gambling and I can't help you there.}

6.) 07 Aug 2018 11:14:46
I’m guessing this simply comes from 2+2=5.ie. journos considering who’s potentially available to replace should Hazard be tempted away, and the list of quality wide players that clubs would be prepared to sell now is quite short.

I doubt Fekir himself would consider unless the interest from Liverpool really is completely dead, which is doesn’t seem is the case.

7.) 07 Aug 2018 11:28:50
Makes sense what you are saying SCred however it seems we are prepared for the likes of Chelsea to bid for him meaning we can't want him that much else we would of contacted his club by now.

8.) 07 Aug 2018 15:11:48
We're also a bit heavy in midfield now.

9.) 07 Aug 2018 17:00:29
I do think we need to hurry up and sell/ loan some - I don’t see Solanke or ings going abroad to be honest.
Can loans still be organised after Friday?

{Ed002's Note - Not to English sides.}

10.) 07 Aug 2018 18:22:15
English clubs cannot register players after 5 pm on Thursday. However, other clubs can buy and register players until the 31st.

30 Jul 2018 23:41:30
Hi ED's according to Raphael Honigsrein from ESPN the Nabil Fekir deal is dead in the water. Would you ED's agree with that?

Thanks.

Bravesun

{Ed002's Note - All I can do is re-iterate that since the original problem with the finances, I am not aware of any discussions between the clubs at all. Lyon have, as I also previously explained offered him to a few other sides who had at one time or other enquirer and were thought to have the money available. Nothing came of that as I said. Whether or not this journalist knows of something else happening, I don’t know. But for me, nothing has changed.}

1.) 31 Jul 2018 00:07:39
Thanks ED002. I personal think Liverpool are holding out hoping that Nabil Fekir push for the move to us and maybe then they go back and renegotiate the price . I don't know ED002. But thanks again for all hard work you do .

{Ed002's Note - If Liverpool want him then they need to go to Lyon and pay the asking price.}

2.) 31 Jul 2018 05:34:05
Hi ed002, Has the asking price increased as to what was originally reported in the media the deal was done for?
For me its remains a mystery as to why no one has yet put in a credible bid of for his services. he is a genuinely good player that can really help some of the top clubs right now. Say some one like Juventus and even Madrid.

{Ed002's Note - The other clubs approach did not see the value in Fekir at the asking price, or did not have space in their squads for the player. Real Madrid were one of the sides that were approached as they had previously shown interest. However the player would not be guaranteed game time there and they have a two year plan to completely refresh the squad and had other attacking midfield options on their list - and they opted to purchase one of those this summer in any case. Juventus never enquired after Fekir.}

Hi ED02 could I have the link to your podcast. Please

Thank you for all your hard work.

{Ed002's Note - https://goo.gl/EsWbfM I think.}

1.) 16 Jul 2018 20:42:35
Just listened while studying for an upcoming exam. Great listening. Thanks Ed002. definitely appreciate the listing if the tunes at the end. I think the Dolly Parton song is going on the playlist!

{Ed002's Note - Cool man. Good luck with the exams.}

2.) 16 Jul 2018 21:17:04
Fantastic listen Ed002. Thank you very much.

3.) 16 Jul 2018 23:04:29
Privileged to have your knowledge given Ed02, many thanks.

Personally would love to see Draxler in the LFC kit and hope this one can be done.

4.) 16 Jul 2018 23:13:57
Westwood, good luck mate.

5.) 16 Jul 2018 23:41:50
Good luck with the exams westwood. May it all click into place as the pen hits the page or the fingers hit the keyboard.

6.) 17 Jul 2018 05:38:52
Good luck with the exams.

{Ed001's Note - agreed, good luck Tim. About time you took some exams in English so you could stop pretending to be an American, rather than an archibishop's son from England. Mind I suppose that Norwich accent would be a little embarrassing if you didn't hide it, as everyone would be just thinking Alan Partridge each time you opened your mouth otherwise....}

7.) 17 Jul 2018 06:26:23
Thanks all. Don’t make me drop the bomb on you Ed001.😂.

{Ed001's Note - would that be a carrot crunching bomb? The 666, is that meant to be ironic with regards to your dad?}

8.) 17 Jul 2018 07:14:52
Oh now that is a new one! And I thought I had heard all the Tim Westwood jokes out there.
Nothing ironic about it bruv. I’ll big up my old man. For real.

{Ed001's Note - how many hours a day do you spend practicing the fake accent? You could have put all those hours into studying for your exams instead and flew through them.....}

9.) 17 Jul 2018 07:38:47
I have never failed an exam in my life, so whatever I’m doing, fake accent and all, must be working!

Westwood is actually my surname. I’m just unfortunate enough to share it with a tool.

{Ed001's Note - I guessed mate, nobody is going to choose it in homage to him after all! Hopefully your record will continue this time in your exams.}

10.) 17 Jul 2018 14:25:50
Must admit, I was slightly hurt for the poor fella when I heard Lee Westwood being referred to as a tool! Its not his fault he just can't do it in the majors!

Then the penny dropped :)

08 Jan 2018 13:46:21
Good Day ED's Not sure if you got my last post. When I wish you all a happy new year and thanks you all for doing such a great job. ED1 I sent you my condolences on your loss.
My question was any update on Daniel Sturridge.?

Thanks.

Bravesun

{Ed002's Note - Thanks for your nice words. There is noything n ew on Sturridge as far as I am aware. Money would be an issue for Real Betis if they had to pay his wages on loan. Besiktas are looking to add a striker but are concerned about fitness. Newcastle want Ings but Sturridge may work on a some sort of financially beneficial deal, but right now their futhure is still unresolved.}

1.) 08 Jan 2018 15:21:46
Not the types of clubs he would have been linked to a couple of years ago - such a shame for the guy and his injuries have massively impacted him (and Liverpool)

2.) 08 Jan 2018 15:38:20
SG in response though Sturridge is renowned for making the most of the slightest issue not to play. From a clubs perspective to have the £100k plus a week wages off the bill would be a benefit to replace with someone else of more time for Dom S.

Sturridge's time is done and he has to accept some of that is the consequence of his own decisions.

3.) 08 Jan 2018 16:08:29
I hear you and agree it’s time to move on JC, but would also note that if every time you played with a niggle you got an injury that put you out for a couple of months you’d be a bit paranoid too.

Not saying he’s right to take that view or not, and agree he’s made of glass, but I’m sure he would rather play than not.

4.) 08 Jan 2018 17:12:45
Yes that would be a case however the hypochondriac levels and pre-madonna stages have "apparently" been to an extreme in DS case.

Every player should want to play when possible and no doubt he had some injuries that meant he could not but far too many times when reports/ rumours suggest he could have easily played and yet would abstain from training etc and have to spend time abroad to recover.

I could be unjustly apportioning slander in his direction but when you read so much and correct me if I'm wrong but I'm sure the Eds have also alluded to this in the past its hard to avoid the "no smoke without fire" assumption.

Anyway let's hope we get some decent return and release the wages to re-invest where needed.

All the best.

5.) 08 Jan 2018 19:50:24
Sturridge isn’t a bad player, isn’t a bad person to have at the club and isn’t a bad guy either, however he does have a high wage considering he hardly ever plays and as much of that is due to him being made of glass, as it is him being injured.

As one of the others above has stated, he is known to not need much to go off sick, even Klopp pretty much said he needed to strap a pair on!

I wish the lad well but think his time at Liverpool is done now.

6.) 09 Jan 2018 00:15:36
Give him a pay as you play contract. That will be fair.

7.) 09 Jan 2018 17:20:03
Cheers JC and you too.

Agree let’s hope we can get something for him and he goes on to play somewhere regularly while we can move on too with someone that is more robust and can fit our system better.

Hi E01 thanks for all the great work you do. Just a quick question. Who's your best Liverpool Trio?

Thanks you.

Bravesun

{Ed001's Note - in what way? Sorry I don't know what you mean.}

1.) 03 Jul 2019 16:24:16
The Quarrymen?

2.) 03 Jul 2019 16:41:31
I have it on good authority that Ed001 is more of a 'Atomic Kitten' man haha.

3.) 03 Jul 2019 19:01:30
Earth, Wind and Fire perhaps?

4.) 03 Jul 2019 19:59:57
Larry curly and mo?

5.) 03 Jul 2019 20:26:45
The Thompson Twins.

6.) 03 Jul 2019 22:59:34
The chuckle brothers and. Worzel Gummidge?

Football has changed. I think it was chelsea who first went from 442 to 433 in the premier league. Not that long ago really.

It was always, who were the best forward duo? Rush and toshak, im having a brain freeze and can't remember all the brilliant partnerships we've had up front. Fowler and owen.

7.) 04 Jul 2019 12:32:32
Bravesun, The Big Three great group in the 60's for those who can remember.

8.) 04 Jul 2019 12:33:43
John, Paul and George ;-)

13 Jun 2019 10:00:58
Good morning ED01 and ED02 hope all is well and thank for all the great work you both do well I would like to thanks all the ED's. But I have two questions and Im sure you might have addressed these. But question 1 Does MoMo really want to leave the club and him and Klopp have had words with each other. Or do you just think that he's agent just trying to shop hime around to make more money for himself . Question 2 I was told that we made a bid for Nabil Fekir does Klopp so want him or have he moved on to someone else?
Again thank you for all the hard work you all put in I know we aren't the easiest people to get along with loll Have a wonderful day.

Bravesun

{Ed002's Note - (a) He wants to play for Real Madrid - and discussions over his future have also been held with three other sides. But I don't expect him to go this summer. (2) I am not aware of a bid but I have explained don't be shocked if there is one.}

1.) 13 Jun 2019 10:44:02
Going to be one of them summers again Ed2 I'm afraid where everyone is asking if Fekir will sign or telling us it's a done deal like last time around, god help you Eds.

2.) 13 Jun 2019 11:09:08
Thank you ED002 Wow I never knew he wanted to leave us and play for Real Madrid. It seems that Liverpool can never just have great players that doesn't want to leave after a season or two . I mean its safe to say MANE and BoBBy with VVD wants to stay at the club and loves our club? that's just a shame well ED02 thank you again have a wonderful day.

3.) 13 Jun 2019 11:22:11
If he wants to he wants to. don't think it will happen this season as they have already spent on Hazard and 3 other big money signing.

You never know with Madrid though. But seems unlikely that'd they would have 150+ to spend on one player considering what they have spent already.

4.) 13 Jun 2019 11:41:55
The issue is all players dream of pulling on a Barcelona or Madrid top it has been like that and will be that in the future.

5.) 13 Jun 2019 11:47:02
it will be interesting to see how many players Madrid sell, and what sort of prices they get for those players, and with it being Madrid this time next year, they could be looking to offload this years signings, depending on what sort of season they have of course.

6.) 13 Jun 2019 12:50:46
QUick one for the Ed's. How many times do you have to get asked whether Mo wants to go/ is going/ should go/ could go to Real Madrid before the answer changes.

I find your responses very bland, always saying the same thing and never telling us what we want to hear. You should consider changing your approach. This is a Rumours site not a Truth site!

7.) 13 Jun 2019 15:45:05
If Salah still wants to go after we won the cl and we have a better side than Madrid we should take the £170m.

8.) 13 Jun 2019 22:37:44
Woah! I thought it was 180 million last week. That is some rate of decline in value, he’ll be on a free come September so best get rid while the going is good, right?

9.) 15 Jun 2019 10:24:00
I'd avoid signing anyone from Madrid, always got the impression their career slows down big time when a player is not wanted by Madrid anymore. Any players recently sold by Madrid go on to bigger things? I think the likes of jese, callejon, morata, James, granero, Pedro Leon, albiol, drenthe, coentrao, canales, huntelaar, sahin, gago, garay. Never improved after they failed at Madrid. I could see the likes of bale, isco, Vasquez, cebellos, asensio going the same route.

Happy Birthday ED01 .

Thanks for all the hard work you do.

{Ed001's Note - cheers Brave, I appreciate that.}

19 Jul 2018 17:29:11
ED's . Let me start off by saying thank you all for the hard work you all do . Providing us with information is great. I was told that Fekir didn't sign because it was to do with UEFA Financial Fair play. So they said he was injured so nobody would com in for him. Is there any truth in this Ed's?

Thank you.

Bravesun

{Ed001's Note - no.}

30 Jun 2018 15:58:28
Hi ED's just a quick question .

Does both clubs has to come to a financial agreement before a player has a medical?

Thank you ED's for all the hard work you all do .

Bravesun

{Ed002's Note - No. He would need the permission of the selling club though.}

1.) 30 Jun 2018 20:30:23
