Heard a rumour and only passing it on, make of it what you will.

Sparkywonderdog has been approached by LFC board of directors at Klopps say so. He has gone all out for him to be chief scout. He was aware of the impending approach and has been giving an unlimited budget to identify players to come in ready for the new season. He is under the guidance of both Ed001 and Ed002, with their extensive footballing knowledge.
So far SWD has identified VVD as a potential replacement for Sahko and approached Southampton. They have agreed a deal of a straight swap as we have funded their last three premier league campaign single handedly. Also he is looked at a left the left back position and feels Guerreiro would be a good fit. Right back to be free in TAA.
In the midfield area SWD is happy overall but feels that a further winger/ attacking young player in Pulisic should be brought in. Having spoken with BVB directors he also put the feelers out on Aubameyang who made it clear the only team he would leave for was LFC. He managed to get a BOGOF on this deal and having used a bit of magic, entertainment and some old spice got Aubameyang as the freebie on an initial £12.5million for Pulisic.
Ed025 though has been present while SWD has his morning and even constitutional. while Ed001 and Ed002 engage with their real obsession of lawn bowls down near the boating lake, Ed025 has been having a word in his shell like. He has blagged SWDs head and now all the above deals have been scuppered and we are buying Gareth Barry who Ed025 has told SWD he is in the prime of his career. Also James McCarthy for his loyal stance on honouring the fighting men from the two world wars. Ross Barkley was also sniffing about stating deep down to being a die hard Red and would even bring with him a signed up Neville Southall top to clinch the deal.
Just rumours I heard from my grannies best friends parotts second cousin in law's cleaner.

Eds do you see Liverpool making an approach to Notts forest for 18 year old forward, Brereton?

Cheers Baz.

Baz

{Ed002's Note - Yes Baz.}

Matip is eligible for selection. News from the club that FIFA have dropped charges.

Baz

1.) 21 Jan 2017 14:29:59
And he should have played as the result shows. Klopp holds the responsibility for that decision. And for picking 3 central midfielders at home against the worse team in the league.

I would love an explanation.

{Ed025's Note - im sure he will call at your house shortly mate..

2.) 21 Jan 2017 18:28:13
You can't plan all week thinking he might not be allowed to play then just throw him in mate. As for the 3 in the middle I do agree lallana should play there every week he shouldn't be the one moved him hendo and gini for me first choice in there. Bad result but we move on an hopefully learn from the mistakes nothing a win midweek an trip to wembley won't cure.

Stated Pato has agreed to sign for €15 plus bonuses.

Baz

1.) 09 Jan 2016 00:04:10
Yeah seen that my self but thought he was a done deal for some other team guess if anyone will know am sure the edd will or will see it on sky sports the morrow hears hoping. We need him.

2.) 08 Jan 2016 23:56:02
I' m not saying i don't believe you, but surely not!

3.) 09 Jan 2016 00:45:13
I think he turned down another premier league team to join LFC.

4.) 09 Jan 2016 01:58:56
Can't see this happening, last thing we need is to be taking more gambles like this.

5.) 09 Jan 2016 02:15:07
If this is true the people running our club are the least intelligent of any professional team. There is a good reason he is in Brazil and it should be telling that they desperately want rid of him. He is lazy, injury prone, and has attitude problems. Did I forget to mention that he is also not very good.

6.) 09 Jan 2016 02:55:29
15euro. still a bit steep if ya ask me.

7.) 09 Jan 2016 03:39:20
Is that personal knowledge or just eds views regurgitated?

8.) 09 Jan 2016 04:30:59
So Klopp wants to setup a Brazilian WC team in LFC? We do really need a CB and FW but options are very limited in Jan.

9.) 09 Jan 2016 06:31:20
Its no gamble. Pato is among tops scorer of Brazilian league with 11 goals this season. He is on form.

{Ed001's Note - it is a gamble, he is on such good form they don't want to keep him at the club. It is not about money, they don't want him because his attitude stinks and he has injury issues.}

10.) 09 Jan 2016 07:01:06
Reports coming out of Brazil is its 15 million brazilian real which is roughly around 4-5 million he hasn't turned down anything from another premier league club he turned down a ridiculously large pay packet from a Chinese side, people saying he is injury prone he hasn't been injured for three years! And 2015 was probably his best goal scoring season.

{Ed001's Note - sorry but he has shown consistently that playing a competitive game in a decent league is beyond his body's ability to cope. Just because he is doing ok while semi-retired and not expected to work hard does not mean he is suddenly fine.}

11.) 09 Jan 2016 07:54:31
Could turn out to be a master stroke. who knows. If he brings back ballo then I would be very annoyed. I don't think either deal will happen.

12.) 09 Jan 2016 08:21:18
How can people say he's not very good? i have the full sky package and i don't recall any brazilian football being on. have faith in klopp and stop being so negative on current and future players.

{Ed001's Note - have you never heard of the internet? Some of us watch other countries football by other means than just Sly tv anyway.}

13.) 09 Jan 2016 08:47:55
Eds but there isn't any truth in us after him anyhow is there?

{Ed001's Note - not unless something has changed, as we turned him down, as did a number of other teams, once already.}

14.) 09 Jan 2016 09:42:03
Can you see anything changing mate? He doesn't seem a Klopp player and like you said he has injury issues. Does ed002 no if anything has changed?

{Ed001's Note - as far as I am aware, he is still be whored around Europe with little to no interest, more to do with his partyboy lifestyle than his injuries to be honest.}

15.) 09 Jan 2016 09:44:17
Maybe because there is a lack of decent players in the Jan market and due to our injuries and lack of goals the club are dammed if they do and dammed if they don't!

16.) 09 Jan 2016 10:09:07
I think it would be fair to say Ed, he wouldn't exactly be up for the physical nature of playing Premier League football either.

{Ed002's Note - I would think far from able to perform at the premier league level. Clubs will have noted his wages are very high, he has some ownership issues that would need to be resolved before a return to Europe, and (importantly) he has a total of six agents and representatives that would need to be paid as part of any transfer. I cannot see any English side taking him on, the answer for him is back in Brazil until the summer, with Chinese second division side Tianjin Songjiang (who have made an offer) or potentially somewhere in Italy (but I doubt with a leading club).}

17.) 09 Jan 2016 11:02:00
I think it's his agent trying to push a move for his player, anyway surely what money is available this window will be spent on the defensive situation.

{Ed001's Note - it is exactly that. His agent has been claiming interest from anyone and everyone, but there is very little truth.}

18.) 09 Jan 2016 11:42:18
In this moment we need to be looking for more loan plus option to buy.
We have so many injuries we don't necessarily need more permanent deals.

Perhaps Pato is being offered around to clubs who need bodies (like us) and we have said we'd only be interested in a loan to buy. Otherwise I can't see us being interested.

19.) 09 Jan 2016 12:09:05
Surely the deal won't be in euros between two countries that don't use euros?

20.) 09 Jan 2016 14:44:36
The report was on an Italian website I think Fencey that's where the € came in.

21.) 09 Jan 2016 16:43:32
I don't believe for one minute that we would look at a player that fell short in Europe. Before anyone says, when he went back to Brazil, no one in Europe tried to sign him. He is average at best and with a bad attitude.

Well done to the team, squad, manager, coaches and all the staff involved in working for LFC.

Pity the F$$King idiots fans who couldn't stay away from Anfield and those arrested next to the ground. Idiots, clowns, toss pots. words don't describe. It just takes the gloss of winning our first premier league because of stupidity.

Baz

1.) 23 Jul 2020 12:09:36
Baz, no point being pissed about such things, man. There will always be those who have to ruin things for everyone. Some of these even thrive on doing so as it gives them some type of fix that I still cannot understand.

2.) 23 Jul 2020 12:51:25
Banned for life would be my idea of a decent punishment.

3.) 23 Jul 2020 12:54:29
Baz mate this was always going to happen no matter who the team was. Fan's were always going to turn up at Anfield the home of the newly crowned EPL Champions.

4.) 23 Jul 2020 15:59:57
How does something you've absolutely no control over "take the gloss off winning the title"? Ridiculous statement to come out with.

5.) 23 Jul 2020 23:33:57
I agree they shouldn’t have been there but it doesn’t take any gloss off winning the title. Not one tiny bit.

09 Jul 2020 19:05:21
Should have kept Danny Ings!

Baz

{Ed001's Note - you do know he has never finished on the winning side against Everton after scoring right? So we could never play him against them!}

1.) 09 Jul 2020 19:19:24
Origi is the only striker allowed to start vs Everton. Facts.

2.) 09 Jul 2020 19:22:29
He really looks like a top quality operator these days, delighted for him but always tinged with a bit of sadness 😢.

3.) 09 Jul 2020 19:40:27
He is doing great. A more natural finisher than anyone in our squad, and by some distance!

4.) 09 Jul 2020 19:54:52
Really happy to see Danny doing well, hope he gets the golden boot. Would have been a great player to have on our bench but he deserves game time. Good luck to him.

5.) 09 Jul 2020 20:34:03
I was working in Liverpool when he was our player Coming back from injury. Seen him a few times running past our jobs getting himself fit, he never give up, good luck to him he’s turned out great for them.

6.) 09 Jul 2020 21:34:48
Really like ings, and liked unbearable's post. His anfield career is tinged with sadness.

But. He wouldn't get in the team ahead of Firmino. But he probably would push Bobby more than origi does (sorry divok, I love you man! )

I've just seen John stones yapping about how city are the best team in England right now. What a ridiculous thing to say! I know he has to back his team but he could have side stepped that question easily enough. Liverpool are still winning games despite not being anywhere near top gear. Let's be honest, Liverpool haven't been the same since the break, a good performance against Palace who laid down and died once Zaha went off. But we are the best all round football team in England. That's why despite putting in below par performances, we are still walking away with 3 points and clean sheets here and there. Even a Liverpool not quite clicking, are still so hard to score against. And with the quality of players we have, they are going to score.

Stones, look at our points tally, then look at yours. Yez, you beat us at ethiad. But we beat you at anfield. We haven't just beat you, we have absolutely smashed you. We could have sat in the centre circle having a sing along at ethiad, and we still going to beat you by over 20 points! That's not much less than norwich's whole total! Fair play for backing your team, but have some humility kid. You've been steam rolled by jurgens machine.

Had to get that out up the pool!

7.) 09 Jul 2020 22:18:05
ED001,always got to be a first time.

{Ed001's Note - true but I would prefer not to take the chance.}

03 Jul 2020 20:59:04
Eds can I ask, I know to qualify for a champions medal you need to have 5 appearances. Is being in the squad as a sub classed within that or does the player have to get on the pitch?

Baz

{Ed002's Note - Playing.}

1.) 03 Jul 2020 21:14:13
Thanks Ed002. Be nice for the young lads, Jones, Williams and Elliott to get medals as a confidence boost and showing them that they are part of the future of LFC.

2.) 03 Jul 2020 22:14:06
Those lads should not get medals and should not want the medals. They should earn their medals not get a couple of charitable appearances to get be given a medal they should have to earn.

3.) 03 Jul 2020 22:17:37
Mental to think that these young lads could get a premier league winners medal and players like Stevie, God and Carra never did. Don’t get me wrong I’m not dissing the young lads. Just saying as these youngsters could end up playing 10 -20 games for us and leaving and the 3 mentioned are modern day club heroes.

4.) 03 Jul 2020 23:44:08
I agree, while tempting only those deserving of the medal should get one. If mane got injured divok comes in, if he's not available I guess mino comes in. You get a pl medal on merit, it is an incredible achievement, it isn't a charity. Saying that Jones and elliot can't be too far off are they? Did Adrian play 5? Did didn't he?

5.) 04 Jul 2020 00:28:22
5 appearances gets you a medal. The club are officially given 40 medals for the players and staff, sometimes this leaves some staff members short of a medal which is why the club can commission more to be made. After the players who've played at least the minimum amount of games have gotten their medals and the key members of staff have gotten their medals, it's up to the club to decide who gets the spares (if there is any, or decide to make more) usually this includes the reserve/ 3rd choice keeper etc physios, nutritionists, getting a medal because off the field contributions are just as important as those on the field.
Loads of articles been written about this topic recently.

6.) 04 Jul 2020 09:28:06
Should we not just trust one of the greatest man managers in the game to make the right call? Besides Brewster got a champions league medal last season. I think Klopp values the contribution of the younger lads in training in maintaining standards and the overall culture of the team, he views as them as a part of the group just as much as the seasoned pro’s, even if they aren’t playing. It makes sense really when they’re training 5 or 6 times as often as they are playing, and matches are won and lost on the training ground. If Klopp see’s fit, which he will, they’ll get their medals, which he feels they deserve.

7.) 04 Jul 2020 10:45:49
JK, I don't undestand your logic. What does Stevie G, Carra or Fowler (no human being is god, IMO) not having a PL medal have to do with whether the young lads get one this season? I don't get that at all.

Whether they have earned the medals or not (regardless of how many games they may have played), is Klopp's decision and he does NOT need to consult a club hero or defer to their opinion.

If Klopp decides that they get a medal (just like Brewster, Kellerher, Woodburn etc got a CL medal last season), I'm not sure these legends would care that much or do you want Klopp to give these legends PL medals as well to appease them for being club heroes or what?

8.) 04 Jul 2020 11:58:12
RM at no stage did I say Klopp had to consult or give former players medals. You have chosen to write that to suit your argument. I have no issue what so ever with who gets medals. My logic was clearly just my opinion. My English reading skills are also pretty good as I’ve been doing it for 35 years. I don’t need you to put WORDS in capitals for me. Plus just because things are in CAPITALS doesn’t mean they add more to a debate. They are still just your opinion of which you are welcome too.

9.) 04 Jul 2020 13:19:32
JK, calm down with all the snarky stuff. I did not say you said the legends need to be consulted. I used that to support my point and btw, You were the one who brought them up to support your opinion and in my opinion, that is irrelevant and I stand by that.

As for using capital letters, I do that to support my point. It is a way of writing and others use it and I have no problem with it cos that petty/ petulant stuff is of no interest to me. You may find it weird but that is your business.

I am more interested in the substance being written. Neither have I said one bit that it adds something to the debate. You came up with that all on your own, just like you brought up the whole "how will the legends feel" stuff on this topic. That, is what adds nothing to the debate about whether youngsters get medals or not, IMO. Peace.

10.) 04 Jul 2020 13:55:42
Rm you are comical. Enjoy your day on that high horse of yours.

11.) 04 Jul 2020 22:00:48
JK23, that is your opinion and you are welcome to it.

28 Jun 2020 20:01:07
I am totally ashamed of the behaviour of some of our so called fans. All ignoring government, police, the club and council advice and meeting at Anfield and within the city.

Also snorting white powder believed to be cocaine from a found/ stolen police officers hat.

No wonder we look stupid and are only highlighting what everyone said what would happen.

Disappointed, ashamed, angry, annoyed and just plainly making our good club and real honest supporters looking stupid.

Baz

1.) 28 Jun 2020 20:20:28
Well said couldn't agree more. I actually feel ashamed.

2.) 28 Jun 2020 21:59:54
Some people are just knobs.

3.) 28 Jun 2020 22:19:22
What a feeling what a night.

27 Jun 2020 15:06:39
We won the league and we all want to celebrate, but why are all these numpties going out on the streets, firing off pyrotechnics, drinking, being within 2 metres of each other. what do they not get.

STAY AT HOME YOU CLOWNS.

Baz

1.) 27 Jun 2020 15:29:24
I am in no way condoning what the our fans are doing because there are breaking clear rules BUT so are the half a million people on bournemouth beach pooing everywhere and leaving 22 tonnes of rubbish behind also the people rightly so fighting for black lives matter protests.
It’s a hard balance and I’ve no idea if it even right me pointing out other thing happening. Am just pointing out that these times we are living in are new to us all.

{Ed0666's Note - people are taking a dump on Bournemouth beach? How do you do that in front of half a million other people?

2.) 27 Jun 2020 16:03:31
People stopped caring when Cummings went out for his wife’s birthday to barnard castle and again for his eye test. Well I say people, plenty of people are still being good, it’s just morons that aren’t and there are plenty about sadly.

3.) 27 Jun 2020 16:43:18
So it's nothing to do with Cummings then? He is just another moron in a long line or more morons who don't know right from wrong. Cummings isn't the pied piper you know! If Cummings had done nothing wrong you would still have half a million tossers at Bournemouth beach and thousands of Liverpool supporters being tossers last night. If you are looking at someone like Cummings as your role model then clearly there is something not quite right with you.

4.) 27 Jun 2020 19:40:13
With you on that Irish, two wrongs have never made a right.

5.) 28 Jun 2020 03:19:52
Half a million people on a beach? Dang . .

Said this before, all the precautions and concerns prior to the restart were warranted as evidenced by what we are watching.

6.) 28 Jun 2020 08:42:35
Meanwhile this C.V. seems to have disappeared just like magic.

Simply well done Leeds Utd. Played liked a seasoned premier league team. They wanted a result, played us at our own game and out possessed us at home.

Lucky 3 points today, let's just hope it was an off day for us. Salah today was outstanding, movement, dribbling and of course the hat trick hero.

Simples, Brewster needs game time with us to develop. I had high hopes when Origi joined us being a good young upstart but its never quite worked out with us.

He now needs game time at a mid table club to show what he can do. Maybe send him on a season long loan if he is happy to do that?

Ings should have stayed, look at thr form he had at Southampton!

I'd rather be were we are now with FSG than back at the Hicks and Gillett days. Yes we have limited funds for player purchases but we can't always just keep buying. We have a few decent young players to come in and learn their trade, rather than buy to stop their chances. A few of our players are reaching the 30 mark, a time where we need to integrate the kids to learn and take over these positions.

We have a great manager, squad, behind the scene team, ground, training area to name a few. We have a great academy now and looking at the future.

FSG are business people and have invested into our club. This includes players, staff, facilities and of course Anfield.

We have to stick within our finances and are not cash rich like our counterparts in Manchester and Chelsea.

We have a great manager, a now good transfer team as well as a squad who in the last few years have played outstanding, exciting football and won an array of trophies along the way.

I think its disrespectful to call other teams signings rubbish. If we sign a mediocre player we all say klopp will make him better. surely the same can be said for pep, those people saying Torres and Ake are rubbish could very easily be made to eat their words!
