The Real Estate rumors continue with word Amorim's agent has rented a property in Liverpool šŸ˜œšŸ˜œšŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚, maybe it's the agents holiday home.

Another real estate rumour is fabio carvalhos house is up for sale also.
So he must be on the move.

Even more good news is that Nagelsmann has extended his contract to be Germany manager. This has been confirmed by Kirsty Allsopp who said heā€™s pulled out of getting a semi, nothing to do with houses, just that heā€™s always thinking with his trouser Mauser. I.

19 Apr 2024 14:29:06
Klopp for Germany when Nagelsman leaves I imagine.

Agree3 Disagree0

19 Apr 2024 15:05:04
Leaves = sacked in Nagelsmannā€™s case. But the good news is heā€™s not coming here.

Agree1 Disagree0

19 Apr 2024 19:14:49
Sure someone mentioned Klopp could take the Real Madrid job when ancellottis contract ends.

Agree1 Disagree0

19 Apr 2024 23:15:20
Zero chance.

Agree1 Disagree0

19 Apr 2024 23:47:58
So Nagelsmanā€™s contract runs out in 2026, Ancelottiā€™s contract runs out in 29026, I think Alonsoā€™s contract runs out in 2026 and Jurgen might be coming back from his sabbatical with the German national team and Real Madrid potentially wanting managers.

Seems pretty straightforward to me. Jurgen has said heā€™d like to manage Germany and Real Madrid seem sweet on their ex player.

Ed002, it appears from noise that Liverpool are pushing hard for Amorim and you have mentioned he is first choice.

You also mentioned he has interest from elsewhere.

I was hoping you would tell me what your gut is telling you. I know you prefer to stick to facts for obvious reasons but if you had to guess (at gunpoint), where do you think he will end up next season? Do you suspect he will make the move to us?

Agree1 Disagree9

{Ed002's Note - I think there is a very good chance he will move to Liverpool but the club need to talk with Sporting, pay up and then perhaps sign a no poaching agreement.}

18 Apr 2024 19:28:31
Thanks a mill Ed. Player poaching agreement is all good with me. Plenty of good players out there for Liverpool to get their hands on.

Agree4 Disagree0

18 Apr 2024 23:07:53
I read his son has asked him to win the league and stay at sporting.

Agree0 Disagree0

18 Apr 2024 23:47:35
No poaching agreement as in if Amorim become new manager, Liv will not go after Sporting players? That's a shame because I thought Inacio would be a good addition to Liv team and perhaps Van Dijk long term replacement.

Agree2 Disagree3

{Ed002's Note - It is not uncommon and Liverpool have previously upset Sporting.

Goncalo Inacio (CB) Watched by scouts from a number of PL sides, including Liverpool, Arsenal and Manchester United, with each declaring an interest. Sporting will not be keen to do business with Liverpool although the club could potentially arrange to pay his full Release Clause in a single payment and force the situation if the player is interested - and that seems a strong possibility. The other sides to declare an interest are Newcastle and PSG, but PSG have a plan over another player but it is looking unlikely he will join - so Inacio might become the focus. Real Madrid offer a wildcard option. Sporting would rather not sell and are looking to a further new contract and an increased release clause. Newcastle have held talks with Sporting in order to be able to speak directly to the player and to understand if there is flexibility in the payment schedule ā€“ but there isn't. Arsenal interest would have departed with the signing of Timber although it has returned with the injury to Timber and impending departures. They are actively seeking talks with Sporting. The player has also been offered to Chelsea by his agent when discussing another player, but they have preferred options for a long-term Silva replacement although do have an interest in Inacio's CB partner Diomande. Arsenal have made a tentative offer that has been rejected. The player's agent has also said that Inacio is open to a move to Manchester United and they may push depending on departures.}

19 Apr 2024 06:41:52
So is it Klopp who taps up players or other Liverpool staff I get so confused as to who is our real culprit of tapping everyone up.

Agree2 Disagree4

{Ed002's Note - We have been through this repeatedly.}

19 Apr 2024 13:24:20
Itā€™s staggering isnā€™t it? Canā€™t for the life of me think what the common thread is in bringing the subject up over and over again.

Agree3 Disagree0

19 Apr 2024 16:36:07
I'd take diomande over inacio.

Agree2 Disagree0

19 Apr 2024 19:23:32
Top defender the Sporting fans love Diomande
Iā€™d take him too.

Ed2. One for the rumours page.

I saw you did a list the other day on potential outgoings within the Liverpool squad. Are you aware of our plans for Nunez. Is he on the not for sale list or is he available if the right bid comes in?

Agree0 Disagree2

{Ed002's Note - I am not aware of any plans to replace him.}

18 Apr 2024 17:53:46
Okay, cheers Ed2.

Although he has frustrated the life out of many of us of late, including myself. I would like to see how he fairs in a different system and approach.

Agree0 Disagree8

{Ed002's Note - Sure but he is not looking like a ā‚¬100M player.}

18 Apr 2024 18:41:19
Ed2. Sadly I agree. He certainly is not looking like a ā‚¬100 million player.

Agree3 Disagree0

18 Apr 2024 22:23:42
Heā€™s not looking like a Ā£30m player to be honest.

Agree14 Disagree0

19 Apr 2024 02:04:15
Don't lie Ron, we all know you love Nunez ;) .

Agree3 Disagree0

19 Apr 2024 06:39:34
To be fair to Darwin, he was beginning to look like he could be the real deal - then we inexplicably decided to revert to the late years Wenger / Guardiola lite style of play that was such a disaster last season (presumably to boost Ljinders stock for job interviews or push sales of his book) .

It doesnā€™t suit him - or most of the squad tbh - and just exposes the weaknesses in his game.

Hopefully Amorim and his coaching staff play to his strengths and we can see the real Captain Chaos again.

19 Apr 2024 07:45:20
I thought he was doing alright causing problems out in the wing for a bit. But that only seemed to last a few games before he was moved central again. But then, what do I knowā€¦?

Agree2 Disagree0

19 Apr 2024 08:02:03
If you need an example of what the right or wrong tactics can do for / to a player, look at Amorimā€™s current star striker - Viktor Gyokores.

In Brightonā€™s system he looked like a player whoā€™d struggle to get a game on Stanley Park.

But stick him with 2 managers who play to his strengths (Robins at Cov and Amorim at Sporting) and heā€™s flying.

Agree2 Disagree0

19 Apr 2024 08:03:43
He needs to play LW, can't be relied on as the main threat.

Agree1 Disagree0

19 Apr 2024 12:50:20
We are overloaded with right footed left wingers.

Drawin is not the best of them.

Agree0 Disagree0

19 Apr 2024 18:46:26
Nunez is in the top 5 goals/ assist chart in the top 5 leagues of Europe, which is not a walk in the park, however his easy misses have cost us points, and his erratic nature does not seem to be improving.

Hi Eds

Just thinking . any interest in Ivan Toney from us?
With our below par finishing we prob need something of a goal getter .

I think i would sell both salah and lucho in the summer . replace with a proven goal getter in Toney . and perhaps leave a bot of space for some game time forna couple of the younger lads?

Would also like Neto . but his injuries suggest another Jota . brilliant when avai . just not avai as much as needed .

Cheers.

Too lazy. Too costly for what he is. Not happening.

17 Apr 2024 17:40:37
Hardly worth punt, the odds are against him.

18 Apr 2024 22:41:31
Mo is already on the plane to Saudi imo and has been poor for a long time now and a shadow of his former self so cash in now and Iā€™d love to see Isak at Anfield! Darwin is proving not to be the goal scoring answer sadly as much as the fans love him. Different manager and different system might give him a reprieve šŸ¤·šŸ¼.

Agree2 Disagree0

16 Apr 2024 18:41:50
Heard that Alysson has put his Cheshire mansion on market for Ā£4.75 mill - is he heading for the exit door with VVD TAA and Mo this summer?

Agree3 Disagree0

16 Apr 2024 20:03:17
And donā€™t forget klopp. Might sound more plausible if you spelt his name correctly.

16 Apr 2024 20:34:08
I did mention a few months ago that Alison might be off. I was in the cafe when a few lads were discussing it.
No one seemed to believe he might be going. I think we're in for a shock come end of the season in regards to transfer requests.

Agree1 Disagree12

{Ed002's Note - As far as I know.}

16 Apr 2024 22:33:06
Iā€™ll put in a bid when the market comes down a bit.

Agree8 Disagree0

16 Apr 2024 23:36:26
Real coincidence it is put up for sale the same day it was announced Bobby has put his house up for sale for around the same price.

Agree4 Disagree0

16 Apr 2024 23:37:10
Itā€™s definitely on Rightmove. Whether that means anything is anyoneā€™s guess but there arenā€™t many teams who can afford him or need a top keeper.

16 Apr 2024 23:55:32
What? For Ali or for his house @Ron?

Agree2 Disagree0

17 Apr 2024 06:40:09
His house (just kidding )

Agree2 Disagree0

17 Apr 2024 08:38:30
Articles say he bought another a while back any work/ improvements
No doubt finished so ready to live in he's now selling the old one tho he should have rented it to mbappe.

Agree8 Disagree0

18 Apr 2024 12:37:51
He is moving into a new house, going nowhere.

Agree3 Disagree0

16 Apr 2024 12:09:30
Probably not an option because he has no reason to leave Villa, especially with Champions League most likely next season but has Unai Emery been on Liverpool's radar at all eds?

Agree3 Disagree7

{Ed002's Note - No.}

16 Apr 2024 13:06:24
I massively respect Emery as a manager/ coach. I think he is brilliant. But he is just a bad fit for us in terms of style and approach. I think he would not work out.

I'm really hoping it's going to be Amorim. Slightly worried by names such as Kovac right now. Hopefully that is bogus.

Agree11 Disagree0

15 Apr 2024 13:14:09
I've seen Nico Kovac mentioned ed as manager. surely no truth?

Agree2 Disagree14

{Ed002's Note - Niko Kovac (C) Another coach who is currently available after being sacked by Wolfburg - but has a so-so record and he sould be a surprising choice for Liverpool.}

15 Apr 2024 19:34:45
Surprising would be the understatement of the year. we all know whoā€™s replacing Klopp.

Agree12 Disagree0

15 Apr 2024 19:55:34
I donā€™t @Acered - who is it?

Agree2 Disagree0

15 Apr 2024 20:48:27
Itā€™s obviously Sam Allardyce wdw šŸ™„šŸ˜‚.

Agree6 Disagree0

16 Apr 2024 01:01:24
Go away niko.

Agree1 Disagree0

16 Apr 2024 06:52:52
Iā€™d hope weā€™re not stupid enough to give him the job after heā€™s been sacked from his last three managerial positions. If thereā€™s any truth in us even having considered him then we must be near the bottom of the barrel.

Agree4 Disagree0

16 Apr 2024 16:55:43
WDW Amorim.

Agree3 Disagree0

16 Apr 2024 19:15:12
The most likely candidates are Bozo Texino, Snoogy Doogie, Bob McKnob, Dick Buttkiss and Dick Riccabono.

Agree3 Disagree0

16 Apr 2024 23:57:05
Ah, thanks @Acered, to be honest Iā€™m surprised I missed the clubā€™s announcement.

Agree0 Disagree0

17 Apr 2024 19:53:25
WDW hereā€™s a deal for you if Amorim is Liverpool manager next season you donate Ā£100 to a childrenā€™s charity of my choice and if Amorim isnā€™t Liverpools manager next season I will donate Ā£200 to a childrenā€™s charity of your choice.

Agree1 Disagree0

17 Apr 2024 23:26:31
Ah, the old ā€˜put your money where your mouthā€™ is thing eh? Havenā€™t heard that since I was about 10.

Of course Iā€™m not going to put a bet on it @Acered, Amorim might very well be our next manager.

The point is you said everybody knows when what you meant is ā€˜what I suspectā€™. Iā€™ll be happy to hear it if and when the club announce it but 10 year old ITKs donā€™t do it for me.

Agree0 Disagree0

18 Apr 2024 00:33:05
Bozo Texino would be a radical choice.
Iā€™m not into Dick Buttkiss or Snoogey Doogie and I donā€™t think Dick Riccabono speaks good enough English.

Bozo Tex would get my vote.
