@LFCforever Gerrard has just joined another team so
1) It would cost a lot of money for us to bring him in which in itself is pointless when we let him leave for free a few months back too
2) He doesn't seem to want to retire so why waste time trying to make a player a coach when you can look for established coaches?

Why not? Sometimes the time comes to move on in life. When you identify with something that can be hard to do and it becomes easier if the decision is made for you. I think he might be reflecting with a bit of hindsight that it was probably the right time to go, satisfied the BR has gone and hopful that we'll acheive something under Klopp, but gutted? Never look back would be my motto.
