Rumour has it that Klopp and Buvac have kissed and made up and he could be back on the bench for Brighton. Any truth in this at all? Could be crucial for the final as we’ve not won a game since he ‘left’ I don’t think!

Really hope this is true.

I hope so. If only for the fact they’ve been mates for such a long time it would be a shame for them to throw that friendship away. Obviously from our point of view it’s getting the team back together and that can only aid us.

09 May 2018 23:45:14
I hope so, I know Buvac left the country last Friday! Hopefully it was to have a few days break rather than going to Germany about potential jobs 😳.

Agree12 Disagree0

10 May 2018 01:28:39
I have it on the highest authority that Buvac has finally agreed to Klopp's demand. He will now only be allowed on the bench if he has a neatly trimmed beard and matching Klopp glasses. Apparently the fitness guy just is pulling it off well enough :)

Buvac to return and ed02 to return :-)

Doubt him not being there had anything to do with us losing against Roma or Chelsea tho.

Is the any truth to us been interested in signing Diogo Leite please Eds?

{Ed001's Note - I don't know sorry.}

09 May 2018 18:04:22
No worries Ed, cheers mate.

{Ed001's Note - sorry I can't help mate.}

09 May 2018 20:10:12
No it's ok Ed mate, I don't expect you to know everything lol :) you are only human, I think!

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed001's Note - thanks mate.... I think.}

09 May 2018 21:00:04
With the knowledge you have Ed, it makes me wonder if you are human at times lol hope you had a good day mate!

Agree1 Disagree0

{Ed001's Note - there are plenty of days I barely feel human...

It is good so far, but still a few minutes for Chelsea and Spurs to ruin it. How about you?}

09 May 2018 21:05:35
I know mate, fingers crossed Huddersfield continue with this result and beat them. Yeah not a bad day cheers mate, like you though, will be better if Huddersfield and Newcastle get the results we hope for. - was just about to click the reply button and saw Chelsea score, damn!

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed001's Note - damn was slightly different from the word I used, especially as Spurs then went and scored too!}

09 May 2018 21:15:22
I know mate bloody typical, past 5 mins it goes down the shoot. I mean a positive is if it stops like this we can at least draw or win the next game to guarantee top 4 (We'll win, I'm going to rip them a new one) . I want that 3rd spot though, we deserve it, hope Newcastle can step it up, get Spurs dealt with and Huddersfield snatch a late goal, fingers crossed!

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed001's Note - at least it might make the final day interesting.}

09 May 2018 22:51:38
I'd rather a boring last day ed!

Agree1 Disagree1

10 May 2018 04:37:58
I always have reservations when linked to young centre backs who seemingly are destined for good careers. Obviously Coates and Wilson spring to mind who we have signed recently and turned out crap and that’s not being harsh.
I remember listening to talksport one transfer deadline day and I think it was Damien Camolli and a few others saying that scouting a young centre back is extremely hard. Saying that the main trait for a centre back is the reading of the game which he will pick up as he plays more first team football and you have no idea how well they will pick it up and no matter the physical and technical advantages they had in youth football it won’t make up for this if they don’t read the game well.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed001's Note - it is not that it is difficult to scout, it is that the likes of Comolli haven't a clue about the game and they do their scouting via numbers on a screen and you can't judge a defender on stats. That is why teams like Brentford, despite their owner being obsessed with stats, do not rely on stats when they sign defenders, though they will for the rest of the players.

Coates and Wilson were slower than a tortoise with cramp, they were never going to make it in the Premier League and any half decent scout should have spotted that.}

10 May 2018 07:57:00
That bicycle kick by Coates though Ed 😅.

Agree3 Disagree0

{Ed001's Note - well remembered.}

10 May 2018 08:34:20
Ed001, what is your problem with Tortoises? Have they all got cramp or temazepan addictions in your little world?

Are you another one of these bitter turtles who can't accept the fact that we have legs and you don't?

We Tortoises are a proud species!

Agree3 Disagree3

{Ed001's Note - it's the shell. Makes it so difficult to get the meat out.}

10 May 2018 08:57:31
You are a nasty man Ed001. Always baiting us posters 😉.

Agree2 Disagree2

{Ed001's Note - as if I would do something like that!}

10 May 2018 13:19:58
“It’s the shell, makes it so difficult to get them the meat out”

Is this why female tortoises are always so grumpy and frustrated?! 😂.

10 May 2018 13:57:46
Ed001 is a serial bater😁.

Agree1 Disagree0

{Ed001's Note - it is when it is your cereal that has been bated over that you have to worry. No mate that milk is not off, just a bit lumpy *innocent look*

10 May 2018 14:09:43
I would've put him in the "master" category myself, Barry ;-)

Agree1 Disagree0

{Ed001's Note - why thank you Zed. I do pride myself on being a master of the art of bating.}

10 May 2018 14:22:23
You ever worked on a ship, Ed001? As a "Seaman" or even a "Cabin Boy"?

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed001's Note - funnily enough no. Ed0333 did 'work' his passage to the States on a ship though.}

09 May 2018 16:53:13
Hello Eds,

I have been a reader everyday for about the past 5 or 6 years.

Finally I have a bit of something I can post lol. My brother in law works security for both Liverpool and Everton players/ staff. (can prove it to Eds with pics of him with mo salah and fat sam when he's been working) .
Some of the people he looks after are:
Leighton Baines
Fat Sam
Ross Barkleys gaff and moms place
Mo Salah
Lallana
Moreno

So he's given me a little nugget of info from one of the players apparently Clyne is looking to go to Bournemouth and his place is going to be rented out so my bro in law will have another job looking after his empty house until its sold.

The other piece of info is that we are after some chap Andrea Pinmoti? sorry about the spelling

Hopefully you have heard of this chap and my bro in law isn't being lied to loads haha.

Thanks bear for the information.

09 May 2018 17:46:11
The lad i think you're referring to is the young inter milan striker Pinamonti who is only 18 19. He apparently had a good record at scoring at youth level. And is being tracked by a few clubs. Am sure eds will have more info than me.

Agree10 Disagree0

09 May 2018 17:46:32
Thanks for the info!

For anyone else, to save a bit of Google-detective work, his name is Andrea Pinamonti and apparently Wolves are also after him - 19 yo forward from Inter Milan.

Know nothing about him - Adam/ anyone got any info? - but the last 'youngster' signed from Milan did OK in a red shirt ;-)

Agree5 Disagree0

10 May 2018 08:43:41
Got to be honest Zeddicus, i have never seen him play. Italian youth football is obscure even for addicts like myself 😂

I've not had wi-fi for nearly 2 years now so I have to go to my parents or my mother in laws to stream games. So I tend to make the most of it and only stream Liverpool, RB Leipzig, or Roma games regularly.

I do know an Inter Milan fan from Brazil though, so I can ask him for his opinion if you'd like?

Hi Ed01, hope you are having a good day!

Have you heard of any update on Ox's injury? I thought i saw somewhere that he was expected back for pre season. But i have heard some people mentioning now that it seems to be a lot worse, like 9months+? very disapointing if true, as he was in fine form and would have been good to have him back for the start of the season!

Any info is appreciated!

Believable0 Unbelievable1

{Ed001's Note - I have not heard of any time frame being mentioned sorry.}

09 May 2018 13:52:21
Hey Ed001, do you know what the injury has been classified as. All we've I've read is that it "ligament damage". I've ruptured my ACL recently and wouldn't wish that on my worse enemy but its made me more curious about injuries, specifically the knee ones.

Agree1 Disagree0

{Ed001's Note - they have just said ligament damage. Unusual for LFC as they are usually fairly forthcoming regarding injuries.}

09 May 2018 14:07:31
The fact they are normally forthcoming makes me worried its a serious injury, is that why they are going for Fekir/ Atatcking midfielder? If it is his ACL he will be out the entirety of next season meaning we will need to fill his position, with Lallana seeming on the out and Milner not being able to play every game (Seems to slow down fitness wise later on in games) we need someone. These two would needed to have been replaced now/ soon anyway.

Agree0 Disagree0

09 May 2018 18:31:04
ACL are potential career Enders depending on the severity. I know because that’s what happened to me and I had to leave the military. I have had surgery and physio therapy etc for years and still I cannot run more than 4-5 miles without the pain becoming unbearable, cold weather and going up or down too many step in a short period o time is also difficult. And all this was after a long period of diagnosis which can be difficult. I suspect Ox will have a lot better care than I did but it really can have a massive effect, especially for players that rely on a bit of pace. Again I used to be be pretty rapid, but those days are long long gone.

Agree2 Disagree0

09 May 2018 19:40:37
That’s a rough one mate.

Agree2 Disagree0

09 May 2018 19:41:51
Hard to say how long Ox will be out with that general information. If it had been an ACL injury I would expect him to have surgery by now. Looking at the situation it could have been an ACL injury, that would rule him out for 9-12 months, and research shows that just 55. % returns to the level of sport after surgery. But my first guess would be MCL (medial collateral ligament, on the inside of the knee), that would be about 3 months away from football training, but he could train strength and running a lot sooner. So I hope for a MCL injury, but we'll se in pre-season, unless there is more info from the club ahead of pre-season.

Agree2 Disagree0

10 May 2018 01:22:28
5-6 miles Westwood? I don't think the pain would be an issue for me, fairly sure I'd be dead after 2.

Agree2 Disagree0

10 May 2018 10:47:26
A lot of rumours from the normally reliable Paul Tomkins site he's already had surgery but has done both ACL and PCL ligaments, which is a nightmare scenario and one from which the surgeons cannot predict how well (or even, if at all) he will recover. Hence the lack of news so far. Really hoping this is not true but, if it is true, his career is massively under threat and in the very best case he will need a major rehab period (1 year plus I expect. )

Agree0 Disagree0

10 May 2018 20:16:26
He has just posted a photo on Instagram post surgery. Hope it’s not a lengthy lay off.

Buvac likely to return soon, he is back in the city and has had several discussions with Klopp.

Believable15 Unbelievable1

09 May 2018 13:47:00
Sorry if it's been covered and I missed it, but; Klopp clearly wants him back from what Ed's saying, so did he resign to pursue his own ambitions, or because of a fall out Klopp hopes to resolve?

Agree1 Disagree0

{Ed001's Note - it is not that simple.}

09 May 2018 09:45:44
I’ve seen rumours that Klopp has asked Buvac to return for our final 2 matches. Is there any truth to this Ed’s?

Believable8 Unbelievable0

{Ed001's Note - Klopp never wanted him to go in the first place, hence why he is on leave not gone. The door is open to him to come back.}

09 May 2018 10:20:06
Yet ed002 said he resigned last Sunday?

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed002's Note - It doesn't mean the club will not look to resolve the issues. But he did resign the Sunday before last and there is interest in his services from another side.}

09 May 2018 10:41:08
I hope the issues can be resolved and he is back soon. By the sounds of them they’re like an old married couple, bickering all the time. Fingers crossed they can sort it out.

{Ed002's Note - It is nothing to do with Arsenal.}

Ed 2 stirring the pot again.

Agree5 Disagree18

{Ed001's Note - no, you are being a dick. Like I said, Klopp never wanted him gone, he chose to resign, what is the issue here that seems to be escaping you? The club are keeping the door open trying to resolve the issues. Ball is in Buvac's court and he has other offers.}

09 May 2018 12:58:02
Let's hope that they can sort it out.
Shankly even tendered his resignation at Liverpool on at least one occasion prior to his retirement.
Such is life.

It just gets boring. It’s gone on for years. We all know the situation. It’s new to me that he has ‘resigned’. I thought they had a bust up and he walked out. I wasn’t aware that he ‘resigned’. I’m just sick of the constant baiting ed 1. It’s as if we are beneath ed 2 - as Liverpool fans, I see things for what they are and ed 2 never stops digging at us. I just took this as another one.

Agree11 Disagree23

09 May 2018 13:29:59
Plums, shut up and stop being a sensitive Sally. Folks like you are the reason the Eds are hesistant to answer questions any more. i've been visiting this site for over ten years (before there was even a Liverpool page) and Liverpool fans were never talked down to unless they earned it. And they have earned it time and time again by acting like entitled little t**ts. If you don’t appreciate the information, then move along to another site.

Agree14 Disagree10

09 May 2018 13:31:21
Why would you know he had resigned Mr Plums? That’s why we all come on here isn’t it, to find out info that we have no other way of finding out? Ed said it when it happened, this isn’t the 1st mention of it. And sure, ed2 loves a bit of banter but he doesn’t come on here with lies, that’s one thing for sure. Please don’t go chasing him off again, he’s a great source of info.

Agree11 Disagree1

09 May 2018 13:35:22
MrPlums, sounds to me like you Don't see things for what they are at all, but rather for whatever fits your victim complex.

It was insightful information. How on earth you've spun it against Ed002 is beyond me. Looks to me like you are the only one baiting.

Agree13 Disagree9

09 May 2018 13:38:57
Get outta here, Plums, how the hell is ed002 stirring the pot? He's literally stating facts. If you don't like it, you're under no obligation to visit this site and comment because the rest of us appreciate the info, knowledge and insight he provides.

Agree10 Disagree5

09 May 2018 14:35:01
Mrplums - It's guys like you who drove out Macca as well. Now I can't play my PS4 at night and go on Macca rumours before bed to read we're signing Stewart Downing because trolls like you weren't happy with him freely giving us information and he got fed up and left. Now I have to find other things to do at night before bed.

Agree7 Disagree4

09 May 2018 14:49:07
Plums- ed2 can stir the pot all he wants. As can any of the Ed’s. There’s nothing wrong with a little banter, however what ed2 was doing, was simply pointing out something and you take this moment to be a little precious. I suggest, if you want more information, you might perhaps use the search engine to read the posts instead of inciting drama. As for Buvac- I would love to get ed1’s opinion on the effect of Buvac’s absence in the way Benitez struggled without pako. I can’t imagine our poor form is mainly down to his absence. I think Roma was first gear football, we did enough to go through and Chelsea was just sheer exhaustion.

Agree1 Disagree3

{Ed001's Note - it will take a while before we see any effect to be honest. At this stage of the season no one is going to forget what they have been trained in all season long. Next season is when we will see how things would go without him. I would personally like a more decisive assistant alongside Klopp, to get him to make changes earlier and with more effect.}

09 May 2018 15:00:47
Plums, just shut your grid mate. There is nothing else like this site anywhere else on the net. It is absolutely invaluable for fans who are routinely fed complete lies and bullsh#t.
We don't know just how much crap lands in the Eds inboxes every day, and what abuse they have to put up with, and if handling that makes them a bit tetchy at times that is a price we are all more than willing to pay for the quality and honesty of the info given here.
If you don't like it here please just go away- go and read the absolute sh*t that fills up the other 99 percent of sites.
Just don't spoil this one.

Is it a German side eds. ?

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed002's Note - It was Eintract Frankfurt but it is nothing to do with why he resigned.}

09 May 2018 15:48:16
I’ve heard that Buvac has been in discussion with Eintract Frankfurt about there managerial vacancy, after Kovac agreed to take on the Bayern job! Guessing could be some truth in this as Kovac agreed his move within the last couple of weeks, making the domino effect and German clubs seemingly efficient in making plans well in advance of the new season.

Hi guys
Got some info on Brewster.
Looks like we might be losing him to a German club this transfer window.
Good source told me. Think it's a shame as I see him as a future star for the club.
Club has tried to talk him out of it but have had no luck. Just wants first team football😭😭.

Believable2 Unbelievable11

09 May 2018 05:13:25
Don't really blame him tbh if he goes. Firmino ain't going anywhere anytime soon and will be our 1st choice No.9 for at least another 5 seasons. Then we have Ings who will probably play 2nd fiddle to Firmino till Solanke is ready to step up. Brewster is never going to get the desired minuted to progress as a player.
Would like a buy back clause if he goes though coz I think he will be quality in a few years.

Agree4 Disagree6

09 May 2018 06:02:05
I personally can’t see either of Ings or Solanke being here beyond next season, neither are anywhere near good enough as recent games have shown. A shame to lose a promising youngster, but if he believes he’s first team ready and we don’t then it can only end this way.

Agree8 Disagree9

09 May 2018 06:26:14
I thought he was likely to get more game time next season. Good chance of Ings leaving, Sturridge finished, Origi in indifferent form and could leave, Solanke has not scored a goal for us this season. I think he'd had a decent shout of being back-up next season but, if he wants the move, let it be. He is a kid and there is nothing we can do to stop him moving on.

Agree4 Disagree1

09 May 2018 06:47:25
Hope he doesn't leave klopp could turn him into an animal over the next few years. Seems like a good kid he should stay and fight in pre season. I wouldn't mind solanke and brewster as back up strikers next season mainly because I think if firmino did ever get injured salah would be the first back up now before those two but they should still get minutes in cup games etc.

Agree3 Disagree4

09 May 2018 07:13:52
If he leaves we should try and get some kind of “first refusal” on the deal because the lad is going to be a top class striker 🤝.

Agree11 Disagree0

09 May 2018 07:49:24
It’s a shame but let’s be honest, he’s a long way off first team ready and wouldn’t have been Firminos backup next season. Can you imagine City or Utd using someone of his age/ experience as backup?

I also think he’ll be a great player in 2-3 years so it’s a shame, but no more than that.

Agree3 Disagree2

09 May 2018 11:15:58
Seems a very strange one. There ain't too many places he is going to go in top tier football where he is going to be nailed on sure starter. If he is looking first team football why not stay and request to go out on loan.
But then he hasn't exactly came up through liverpool's ranks from a kid so there probably isn't much desire to specifically make it at liverpool so to speak.
Hope he stays though. Liverpool have history when it comes to a young striker breaking through the ranks and turning into a good one.
GOD i hope he isn't GOWEN anywhere.

Agree2 Disagree0

09 May 2018 11:53:34
Mistake for the lad. Klopp loves an exciting talent and Brewster is 18. Should give it at least a year to see what Klopp's plans are for him and whether he has much chance of getting games before leaving. He won't go to another top level club and play regularly.

09 May 2018 11:58:19
sign a new deal loan to rangers would be a great move.

Agree4 Disagree1

09 May 2018 15:12:03
Our current fwd options.

Bobby, ings solanke origi and struds.

I think only Bobby is assured for being with us next season.
Of the above I would keep origi as backup
1 he has pace.
2 he is relatively young but has good playing experience
3 he still has upside to full fill and grow.
4 klopp likes him

If not then we should buy another centre fwd with above attributes.

Liverpool 1980- I posted the same a few weeks ago, again a good source within the club.
I really hope we can persuade him to stay but seeing how Sancho has done at Dortmund probably only makes him more keen to move.
