Ed I would like to know is your stance because we cannot offer Champions League or because our owners cannot provide such financial backing ? {Ed002's Note - There is no interest in the player from Liverpool. There would not be the funds to buy the player without sales. There have been offers for the player from other clubs who will now wait for next summer to bid again - 30M euros and up.}

Hey eds, just wondering do you know if we have any interest in Alan Dzagoev. As he is in the last 6 months of his contract can't he now be offered a pre contract by clubs. He is a good player and one that would suit FSG as he is young and will get better.

Ed0002 - why £20M? When do you understand his contract to expire. Most places are saying Dec 2012.
