Afternoon all,
I'm a strong believer that Emre Can has already made his mind up to depart the club but he has made some noises to suggest he hasn't. This is probably using the media to ease any fan reaction but would love to know if the Eds are aware of any developments on the contract front. I know the original issue was playing time be his is pretty much an ever present and has defiantly developed this season. Would hate to lose him for free in the summer.

Yeah I do believe he already has an agreement with Juve and will announce it in Jan unfortunatly. No one is bigger than the club and perhaps someone else can take the opportunity.

Just out of curiosity is a pre contract agreement completely binding or can either party pull out?
Not saying for can but in general can you have turn arounds where either the team pulls out or the player decides to sign a new contract at home or elsewhere?

Maybe if no contract in place and we manage to win UCL beating Barcelona 4-3 in final, he may do a La Stevie and stay back.
