Firstly i would like to clear a few things up, there are absolutely no problems with ed02, his knowledge impresses me all of the time.

I don't post things on the site for any form of notoriety, i don't have a twitter account, i have no interest in that, i have known ed01 a long long time and like to pass on what i am told from time to time, things very much change in the football world, we all know that and the information is getting tougher to find out. For instance i hadnt heard a thing about Fabinho.

Liverpool have about 3 or 4 players in each postion that they are looking at.

Butland was very close to being completed, he was even house hunting, that was before the champions league final, maybe now they feel that they need to try for somebody else, Alisson .

I was also told that Klopp really wants Tarowski and will even wait till Jan to sign him, again things change, i know he is very highly rated by the players.

I also belive Fekir will happen, not so sure about Dembele now, they where looking at a loan with an option to buy, but that may change if Griezman doesn't move to Barca, there are so many moving parts.

One thing i know is that i very much trust in Klopp.

Hope this clears things up a little.

Keep up the good work eds.

Cheers
Macca.

Please please keep up the fantastic work and don't let the trolls bring us down.

Thanks Macca. Gutted you felt you even had to comment on the Ed002 thing, I don’t think anybody other then the knuckle draggers suggested there was an issue.

As with the Ed’s, thanks as always for your wonderful input.

Think I must be the only person who likes Tarkowski on this website. Anyway, thanks Macca!

Agree14 Disagree3

07 Jun 2018 00:54:22
Tarkowski is slow, cumbersome, has poor decision making, his passing is terrible and he supports Manchester United. Plenty of reasons to dodge him. Remember Michael Keane. It’s not the players at Burnley, it’s the system. Take those players and play them in a more open system and their flaws are exposed. Tarkowski looked well out of his depth playing for England.

Thank you very much for posting Macca. Any information is very much appreciated regardless of how any of the deals turn out. You and ed2 posting are just two of the many reasons why this site is without doubt, the most informed site on the web and to any genuine football fan- a port of call in this day and age where truth is so hard to find.

Mr shankly, most players look out of there depth playing for England. Lol.
Maybe as you say the system he plays in makes him look slow and cumbersom? Give the scathing put downs and opinions a rest. It's not needed. Not just you, but its getting boring and eye rollingly frustrating to read all the time.

Thanks Macca - what is clear is that you have very good intel and together with Ed02’s encyclopedic knowledge we are very lucky to have you both providing information for free.

In a fast changing transfer market where information is often imperfect and out of date in a matter of days or weeks, we understand you won’t won’t always be getting the same info and those individuals that use one to try discredit the other should be removed from the site.

Appreciate what you, and all the Ed’s do.

I’m a huge fan of the page and have the maximum respect for the time and effort put in by all. As the owner and admin of a couple of large betting pages that are active in bringing people real time information I can tell you that it takes real dedication, patience and effort to do what these guys do and the best admins do it out of love for the subject and nothing else.

I’ve always found that the more information from differing sources the better and that’s what we have here.

Cheers Macca, its always lifts the viewers when you post and we know you're just passing on what you know, but its nice that you cleared a few things up. Thanks.

After seeing what Klopp has been building and the areas we have been struggling in relating to squad depth and first team quality in the middle of the park, A summer where we see Fabinho, Keita and Fekir come in is the stuff of dreams to be honest.

Add to that a real top drawer, undisputed number one in our team goal keeper and then you have a squad able to compete with anyone.

Four tip top players, no fillers, no weaker substitutes. That rarely happens at Liverpool in one window so please Fekir and Alisson, Sign on the line!

I wouldn’t mind Shaqiri at all for 12 million was stokes best player by a mile last year and he’s good cover. God forbid though we stay well clear of Butland.

Agree4 Disagree11

06 Jun 2018 22:47:11
Shaqiri has an attitude probelm. doesn't even take the itk to see that. Just watch motd. he's not a player that we require. he's good for 10 games a season tops.

Agree8 Disagree2

06 Jun 2018 22:46:08
Good enough player for back up, the sort of player Chelsea have had on their bench for years. I don’t know about the rest of what he might bring as to whether it would be a good idea or not though.

Agree7 Disagree4

07 Jun 2018 01:14:06
shaqiris a klopp player. too lazy but klopp can figure that out. scores freekicks and outside of box like couts used to do when teams sat back. I thought he should have signed last year along with mertiens. Good squad not first team but squad.

Agree4 Disagree1

07 Jun 2018 01:16:00
From all accounts about his personality, he would moan and whinge constantly if he was a bench player. Also, could you imagine him working for the team, pressing, I can’t. Avoid at all costs!

Agree4 Disagree0

07 Jun 2018 03:56:21
I’d rather we got Fekir (who can also cover wide), Alisson and then get someone like Moses Simon who’s young and may improve, and let him and Wilson be the backup options out wide.

We don’t need a Prima Donna like Shaqiri in the dressing room when he’s not good enough to start.

Agree5 Disagree0

07 Jun 2018 05:51:25
All these Stoke players are smokescreens for the real target, the return of Peter Crouch.

Agree12 Disagree0

07 Jun 2018 06:22:27
The best thing to come out of all this is that Liverpool are starting to tighten up and do their business behind closed doors and are keeping it under wraps for as long as possible.

That’s a good thing and can only result in lower fees and less competition.

06 Jun 2018 21:48:47
May I ask myleftpeg, what do you think he could offer the team? what could he bring? because I can't think of a single thing he'd bring and it's not just about how bad of a player he is, it's more about the person he is, the man's attitude isn't welcome in a squad like ours.

I've seen people say he's a good option on the bench, he wouldn't be happy with that because he thinks he's gods gift and if he thinks he'd get above the lads we have, then he's delusional. BUT be all and end all I don't see this one happening. It's transfer window, these kind of stories are bound to come out.

Salah offered himself to many suitors- particularly Real Madrid but it came to nothing (Thankfully) . I could be wrong but I believe ed2 suggested said parties balked at the wages suggested or something along those lines. Regardless, for this window it’s unlikely he’ll leave.

06 Jun 2018 19:39:52
Just been reading some reports from Italy suggests that LFC had a 44 mil bid turned down for Allison, Roma want 61 mil according to the story.

I hadnt seen anything in the UK about a bid or from the Eds so make of that what u will just sharing.

Believable2 Unbelievable2

06 Jun 2018 20:49:15
After the talk that Alisson would cost £80 million, Michael Edwards will have once again done very well to get that fee down. Don't believe this rumour personally although if Alisson costs £60 million then we should go for him especially seeing as we robbed them of Salah who cost half of what he should have done at the time.

Agree9 Disagree0

06 Jun 2018 20:30:08
Alisson has also asked Bobby about Liverpool. So let's hope he put in a good word like he did with Fabinho!

I believe the bid was made in Jan and instantly dismissed.

Agree2 Disagree0

06 Jun 2018 22:06:04
Where did Allison ask about Liverpool mk?

Agree1 Disagree0

06 Jun 2018 22:25:32
In reply to MK's answer. In Bobby's interview which was related to the Brazilian national side he spoke about Ramos, and how he and Alisson had discussed (and joked) about him joining Liverpool 'to help the team'. He also said other clubs are interested and that his agents will decide on where he goes. Certainly not jaw dropping revelations to be fair.

Hi eds, any further forward with sorting a keeper? I know the names mentioned and I would like oblak personally. Would you be happy with him? I'm not a huge fan of butland personally, make quite a few bad mistakes last season. Cheers.

Believable7 Unbelievable0

{Ed002's Note - As far as I understand Liverpool still want Alisson. I understand Macca has said it is Butland they are after. Bother are away with their respective World Cup squads.}

Do you think it's too late for clubs to get business done for players going to the world cup before it starts ed? You'd think most of the players will be fully focused on that right now. The new transfer window seems like a such a bad idea.

Agree0 Disagree1

{Ed002's Note - I cannot sensibly comment on the timings of transfers.}

06 Jun 2018 19:10:31
Thank you very much for the information ed2. It is very much appreciated. As is all information from posters offered on the site. Whether or not it is information I wish to hear, I’m not going to drag my knuckles and act disrespectively just because it might not be something I want to hear. Instead I will simply read what has been presented to me at this time and possibly offer a thought or two. My preference is that we support Karius and not buy a new number one, but instead of sending abuse ed2’s way I’ll attempt a little decorum. This site is an incredible place to post, let’s show a little respect where possible. (I speak to the absolute minorities here)

Well said aoe mate.

Agree2 Disagree0

06 Jun 2018 21:15:31
Thanks for the update Ed. I see Allison as a massive upgrade on our current keepers. Just the same as Keita is a massive upgrade for the midfield.

Agree1 Disagree0

{Ed002's Note - There is interest from elsewhere in Alisson as well.}

06 Jun 2018 11:14:41
Eds. Do you know if have we looked at, and still hold interest in buying a centre forward to play along side or cover firmino? ie the likes of Son or Werner? or are Ings and Solanke going to be our choices again next season? Or are we Just looking at a winger type player to cover Mané and Salah?

Believable2 Unbelievable0

{Ed002's Note - I am not aware of Liverpool looking to add a CF but if Ings or Solanke were to leave then perhaps additional cover would be looked for.}

06 Jun 2018 11:28:51
ok thank you :)

Agree0 Disagree0

06 Jun 2018 12:48:19
My understanding is Fekir and Salah would provide attional support up top, providing we sign Fekir that is.

Agree8 Disagree1

06 Jun 2018 13:01:24
If one of the above goes like Ed said then I believe we would need more cover for the front 3. Werner would be a fantastic signing. Not sure on his mentality but he has a lot of potential if managed correctly.

Agree2 Disagree0

06 Jun 2018 13:45:21
Don't need another striker. We have Origi, Ings, Solanke, Brewster. Now i know all will not stay but i really cannot see Klopp discarding all of the above plus Sturridge in one window. Solanke might get a loan but I still think he will be Firmino's back up next season.

Agree5 Disagree5

06 Jun 2018 13:57:08
Agree with IB. We have Mane, Firmino, Salah and Solanke who will most likely stay. IF we signed Fekir and this Moses Simon guy, then I'd assume that will be it in the forward department.

Agree5 Disagree2

06 Jun 2018 15:10:45
Ed are we intrested in bringing in Shaqiri from Stoke? Available at 12m apprently, i think he would be a good player for us.

Agree0 Disagree11

{Ed002's Note - I don't know of any declared interest but maybe Klopp sees him as better cover for Salah than Dembele?}

06 Jun 2018 15:16:49
We won't sign a recognized top quality CF. Who would want to come and bench warm, similar problem to spurs. Kane is there man and nobody else would get a look in. Bobby is ours. Origi might stay if solanke/ ings depart.

Agree2 Disagree2

06 Jun 2018 17:43:18
Not sure where shaqiri would fit in with our front 7 of firmino mane Salah Dembele Moses fekir and Malcolm?
In all seriousness if I was Stoke I would have told shaqiri to do one when they suggested an if we get relagated clause.

06 Jun 2018 18:47:54
Haha I love Eds sarcastic little digs. Cracks me up!

06 Jun 2018 09:10:50
Hi Eds, apparently we had scouts at the Turkey v Russia game watching the Turkish defender Çağlar Söyüncü (recently 22 years old) central defender playing for SC Freiberg.
He is statistically a good playmaker and is strong in the air with numerous of his coaches stating he has great timing and leadership qualities. Is he a genuine target for this summer?

Believable2 Unbelievable0

{Ed002's Note - Caglar Soyuncu has been of a great deal of interest to Arsenal who have spoken with Freiberg about him. Whether they would spring for him having already effectively agreed to add Sokratis Papastathopoulos or not is a different matter. I am not aware of Liverpool interest in Soyuncu and he does play on the left side of defence in the same preferred position as van Dijk and I would have thought if Liverpool had decided to also look for a CB then one who prefers the right would be a better option. REgardless, he is one of a few CBs that are coming through that are envisaged to have a very good future.}

06 Jun 2018 10:34:16
Hello Ed02, Do you think the club would look to add a CB now that we have signed Fabinho who could also cover at RB, If yes then who do you think would be out of the door from defenders? Matip or Klavan?
Cheers.

Agree0 Disagree3

{Ed002's Note - You need to ask all of your questions of Macca from now on - not me.}

06 Jun 2018 10:56:45
Oh no Ed 😔😔. I did not mean anything such in the previous post mate! My only curiosity was about the players for that perticular position and nothing more.

Agree1 Disagree7

06 Jun 2018 12:37:41
Thanks Ed002 mate. I thought he might be thought of as a replacement for Klavan. He most certainly does look like one for the future. That said, I'd like another one of your past suggestions in his place, Dayotchanculle Oswald Upamecano.

Agree1 Disagree0

06 Jun 2018 13:51:42
If Liverpool sign a CB it would definitely be on the left. Klavan is a stop gap while Matip and Lovren are liked by Klopp for the right. Almost all of Lovren's errors in his Liverpool career are when he plays on the left. The right is sorted, the left isn't.

Agree0 Disagree7

{Ed002's Note - You seem to have forgotten van Dijk.}

07 Jun 2018 08:18:04
hahaha, thanks christos, that made me smile, kalimera! Did you write that in 2017? Don't worry, it just needs a little editing. "If Liverpool sign a CB it would definitely be a surprise. Klavan and Gomez are backup while Van Dijk and Lovren are liked by Klopp as starters. Almost all of Matip's errors in his Liverpool career are when he plays. Centre back is sorted, the goalkeeper isn't. "

Agree0 Disagree0

07 Jun 2018 16:30:33
Sorry, I didn't realise vvd will be expected to play 60 games and never be injured next season. The team needs more than 1 left sided CB. I thought that much was obvious.
