Hi eds, hope i'm not bothering. Would just like to ask, as I've seen many rumours circulating today about Lacazette. From the Echo I believe. Any truth in it? I RTP'd but only found posts from quite a while ago. I find it strange as we seem pretty set with strikers. Thought priorities would be elsewhere. Also do you expect Zielinski to still go through? Thanks for your time eds. All the best.

{Ed002's Note - Lacazette, Liverpool? There has been no interest shown. Interest in Lyon's Lacazette from Newcastle and Inter (who would struggle to fund a move) has long gone. Additionally, whilst Guy Hillion has continued to extol his virtues but there is no support whatesoever from the folks in London for a bid at this time - so prior interest of Chelsea has gone. Barcelona, Juventus and Spurs had him watched late in the season - but Barcelona has another solution in mind and will not be following up, Juventus have taken it no further and have now moved to hold talks about another player and Spurs have also their sights set on someone else.

West Ham enquired after Lacazette's availability and are certainly interested as long as his wage demands are not too high - as they will have the money for transfers but are very much constrained over wages. West Ham have made it clear that they will what they see is a very good fee but will not over pay on the transfer - but Lyon will look for at least €10M more for a sale to an English side as they know what they can expect from elsewhere. Regardless of that, West Ham has submitted two offers for Lacazette that have been rejected.

He is not first or second choise for PSG but they could potentially turn to him. Lyon are very difficult to negotiate with and they may well see an Gallic shrug in response to any initial bids. Lacazette wants English money and Champions League or Juventus but two French players who have played in England are providing advice that it is not essential immediately. If a price can be agreed, then West Ham has the opportunity to complete the transfer unless another English side with Champions League on offer steps in. Lacazette certainly remains of interest to Juventus and Arsenal and possibly to Atletico Madrid - don't rule out any of them putting an offer on the table. Recent talks have taken place with two sides and both know where they stand.

Liverpool know what they need to do to sign Zielinski but having illegally turned the head of the player are acting like jerks and refusing to pay the money asked. They will learn that the arogance they have will not be accepted by decent clubs and will need to suffer any potential consequences that arise in the future.}

Lacazette is not as good as he thinks and even worse, over half his goals are penalties and never scores in big games so he`s just another overhyped player who can`t cut it in the big time.

Sevilla's Sporting Director has confirmed interested in Joe Allen and Luis Alberto.

Wouldn't have thought of Joe going abroad but you'd have to think that the extra time and space could see him flourish similar to the euros. Either way seems a great pro and I'm taking this chance to wish him the best wherever he may end up.

May have legs as Ever Banega has left Sevilla for Inter as a free agent.

They also said it would be impossible to meet our asking price for Allen.

I think he will thrive in la Liga where the game is slower and more technical passing style. After all, Busquets is a worldie down there.

Ed002 can you remember a few weeks back I said a family member of mine works in Leipzig and said how Liverpool scouts were looking at Sabitzer? Speaking to him last night just about football and the bundeliga. He was saying 4 premier league teams, one bein Spurs were looking at A lad called L. Oztunalli? Was on loan last season from Leverkusen? right sided player. Would one of them teams be Liverpool? Thanks ed.

{Ed002's Note - Werder Bremen were certainly interested in taking Oztunali on a permanent deal and Hamburg looked at taking him back - but I am not aware of any English sides looking at him although there were clubs scouting Grillitsch.}

We are now linked to Julian Draxler by the Daily Express. What a load of rubbish. Good player though.

Liverpool linked to another player in Germany? Who'd have thought it. According to other sites Arsenal are the ones going to buy him. Wonder how long it will take for everyone in a Euros SF side with an agent to be about to sign for another club.

Hi Ed 02, anything new on LFC coming in or going out? I know some of us have pissed you off but anything interesting to note?

Also Is Coric to lfc true? Anything changed since you had last update on him?

Cheers.
Best Site on internet. Appreciate the effort you guys put in.

{Ed002's Note - I have no knowledge of any bid from Liverpool but it has been made clear that the player would not join other interested sides just yet as he knew he would not be getting game time - so perhaps a move to a club where he is guaranteed to play regularly is an option. Liverpool certainly have atentative interest, as do West Ham, but were not one of the five clubs zagreb had said they had spoken to. This may well have changed overnight as everyone seems to think - but I am not aware of any detail.}

ed002 this was done and dusted months agon but just read an article! quote! Alex Teixeira set to leave China after just six months. Reports in Italy, via the Calciomercato website, suggest that the Brazilian forward, who plays for Jiangsu Suning, has been offered to Serie A side Inter Milan after just 14 appearances in China. if this were true would klipperty be intrested?

{Ed001's Note - we have Mane now.}

06 Jul 2016 05:06:44
Doesnt Sunning own one of the milan sides?

yes, Inter milan.

Couldn't hack it in a weak Chinese league. Plus as Ed rightly said, we've signed Mane.

Apparently he Scouts for Newcastle now and I heard he is scouting Ojo for a loan move . Would going on loan to Nufc be a good move for us an him with thecstyke of play .
Cheers

Probably wouldn't be the worst move with rafa there. But hopefully he will get a good pre season under his belt and push on with us.

With Ibe potentially leaving would he move up the pecking order. Surely getting some game time and training with the first team would be best option. If not then I would guess a "top" side even in the Championship would be good development. He seems to be beyond where league 2 or 1 is good for him.
