Reports from Spain saying we have agreed €22 million fee with Seville for Moreno. 5 year contract and personal terms agreed.
Not saying true just what I've read. If so new striker, centre mid and left back done before world cup isn't bad going. Three good signings too in my opinion.

Ive just heard from a very reliable source (an agent) that its a done deal and its true about lallana the price is" too rich "

{Ed002's Note - Moreno is clearly the target and a deal can be done as soon as Liverpool offer the pay the amount being asked - and I would think that they will. If for some reason they don't they will perhaps look elsewhere, but it may be too late for Bertrand.}

Moreno deal is done, he has signed a five year deal

Eds fellow reds, Ed002, what is the asking price for Moreno
Agree1

{Ed002's Note - We don't discuss money.}
Bertrand is not in the same league as Moreno.
Moreno will be a Liverpool Player very soon.
Agree3

Ed2 I know you don't like to discuss money but I take it that our first offer for Moreno was close to Sevilla valuation?
Agree2
Disagree0
{Ed002's Note - No, but the second offer was close to what Chelsea agreed for him.}
Taken from Spanish investigative site El Confidencial. No idea how reliable they are, but.
"El Confidencial report that Liverpool and Sevilla have come to an agreement for full-back Alberto Moreno, who himself has also given his approval.
The deal is reported to be a 5-year contract, for a fee of €22million.
El Confidencial say that Moreno, who made Spain’s provisional World Cup squad but was left out of the final cut, will travel to Liverpool next week for the formalities of medical, contract signing etc".

You say the close to the fee that Chelsea agreed. Has that offer been withdrawn, were the club and player not able to agree terms or what?

Hello Ed002, do you know of the LFC players who are interesting others?
The ones I know of are:
1. Agger and Reina are of interest to Napoli.
2. Suarez is of interest to Real Madrid and Barcelona.

{Ed002's Note - Coady - Wolves and Sheffield United. Assaidi - Twente, Genoa and Stoke (but money issues). Coates - Perhaps Nacional but there will be an issue over money.

Thanks Ed002. I have looked around myself and what I found is that,
Borini - Inter and Sunderland.
Wisdom - Derby (another loan).
Agree0

{Ed002's Note - There is interest from Sunderland but I understand Borini wants to stay with Liverpool. I was not aware that Inter had looked. Thanks.}
I am unsure about Inter myself. The places I have looked, lists Inter being interested in about 70 players.

{Ed002's Note - Clubs do look at a lot of players but most don't hold for interest.}
I think Borini will stay.

Would you assume Parejo interest is gone now? Asking price was too high?
Believable10
Unbelievable1
{Ed002's Note - It has gone because Liverpool are buying someone else. The impact on any remaining interest in Hughes might be impacted.}
The other being Emre Can?
Agree1

{Ed002's Note - Do I need to spell everything out?}
Apologies Ed. With all the talk of Lucas leaving, I thought we were going for some other midfielder as well.
Agree0
Disagree4
{Ed002's Note - No need to apologise. Everyone has been particularly anal today.}
Yep I asked about Parejo specifically because the Can deal has gone through. Personally don't rate Hughes that highly & think he's over hyped & priced so if interest dries up that'd be fine.

Sky sportington "reporting", ahem, that spurs aren't in for moreno.
Two sensible signings so far, moreno lallana and maybe tadic/Kono and I'd be wanting to make sweeeeeeet loving to the transfer committee
I said enough
Believable7
Unbelievable6
{Ed002's Note - The full release clause for Spanish clubs is being asked by Sevilla for Moreno and that has so far put off interest from a number of clubs including Real Madrid and Spurs who had tried a cash plus player offer. Manchester United, Manchester City, Atletico Madrid and Porto have had him looked at. Chelsea had a price agreed but circumstances were such that at the last stepped away from the deal. Liverpool offered cash plus Suso but the player is not wanted by Sevilla, a second cash offer fell short of the club's valuation.
Southampton are of the opinion that Liverpool are still interested in Lallana but are in no rush to discuss anything whilst no acceptable offer has been made.
Whilst the agent of Tadic says there was rekindled interest in Tadic there has been no approach to Twente by Liverpool but two other clubs are in discussions over a deal.
Konoplyanka remains of interest to others but Dnipro has not heard anything from Liverpool since January.}
Do you no if we may come back in for him at his clubs valuation Ed? Or do we perhaps still have interest in the likes of Bertrand as an alternative?
Agree0
Disagree0
{Ed002's Note - I have no idea if Liverpool are prepared to pay what is being asked.}
You can understand why Liverpool, s not to eager to try and sign him again, after the way they refused to sell at the last minute, despite an aggrement being made, shame he looks a really good player

Would you probably agree the imminent arrival of Can would spell the end of Coady's Liverpool career?
Believable8

{Ed002's Note - I don't think it is anything to do with it. Coady is on his way out.}
Is anyone interested in Coady ed?

05 Jun 2014 15:48:05
Eds .firstky thanks for all the hard work and effort you put into this for everyone
Do you know what the clubs plans are for Danny Agger?
I know he loves the club with a passion and probably won't want a move, but is BR looking to move him on? Has there been any interest registered from other clubs?
.same question for Pepe too?
Thanks in advance
Believable8
Unbelievable0
{Ed002's Note - Napoli has an interest in Agger and I would think a deal can be done as he is surplus to Liverpool's requirements and wants out.
Napoli would like to strike a deal with Liverpool for Pepe Reina but remain concerned, after talking with his representatives, that Liverpool will price him out of a move that suits all parties. It will need some work to happen.}
05 Jun 2014 16:29:06
Ed, do you think that Liverpool pricing pepe out of a move to Napoli that he still an option for Liverpool and has a chance of competing with mignolet?
Agree1

{Ed002's Note - Liverpool want rid of him but if they make him too expensive they are stuck with him and his wages.}
Ah you mean we won't sell Reina on the cheap Ed.
Agree1

In case of reina I hope we are fair about it and don't push for too much. If we don't want him it makes sense to rid ourselves of (like you said ed) the wages and player!

hi eds, do you know of any interest is aspas? also do you know of any interest in joe allen? I really don't rate him and unlike hendo he hasn't improved
Believable9
Unbelievable14
{Ed002's Note - Celta Vigo would like to take Aspas back to Spain. There is no interest in Allen that I know of - I would not expect him to leave.}
It doesn't matter whether you rate Allen or not because Brendo surely does.
Agree2
Disagree2
Joe Allen might be a little weak on the ball but he his passing is excellent and his off the ball work rate and tackling is just as good. He's only 23 so will definitely improve
Agree3
Disagree0
Permanently? Can they afford him?
Agree0
Disagree1
{Ed002's Note - Why the obsession with money?}
Joe Allen is a fantastic footballer; he could do with scoring more goals but so could the majority of our midfield. His passing his outstanding, he's always available to recieve the ball and therefore he's fantastic at relieving pressure.
Agree2
Disagree0
Anon05 stop trashing our players. Joe Allen is a very talented player and will only get better. We need to keep players like him as I believe he will be a very good player in the champions league with his style.
Agree5
Disagree0
Just curious if that'd be loan or buy?
Agree1
Disagree0
{Ed002's Note - Liverpool need to sell him.}
Is it only me that thinks Allen has potential at number 10. He gets himself in some amazing positions an I think it was against city where he controlled the ball in the air an shot but it was saved, woulda been one of the goals of the season. The lad has got it an he will get plenty more chances next year. I like him
Agree0
Disagree1
I agree, the money is needed now. If a sale proves impossible I suppose the only advantage of a loan is if he has a good season and revives his reputation/value.
Agree0

Allen hasn't had a fraction of the opportunities henderson has had.

Ed other than Lallana and Shaqiri are there any other attacking players we're interested in or could be? Thanks.
Believable6
Unbelievable5
{Ed002's Note - As you will know that Liverpool has been "linked" to about 2,000 players already in advance of the Summer window and have indeed already "signed" more than sixty of those players. There has been some level of interest or other shown in the following at some point or other in recent months - Shaqiri, Tadic, Cristian Tello, Viktor Fischer, Konoplyanka (not since January), Juan Guilermo Cuadrado, Alexandre Lacazette, Heung-Min Son. If you use the search engine no doubt you will find out more but I have no intention of opening these all up for discussion again.}
Thanks Ed

Good morning eds and reds. What is the latest on Kono and Rakitic. These players are the kind of class players needed to take us to the next level. Also I don't see the point in letting Agger go and searching for another c/b.
Keep up the good work fellas.
Believable2
Unbelievable7
{Ed002's Note - Right now it is Manchester United, Bayer Leverkusen and Spurs who are showing interest and looking to negotiate a transfer. Liverpool seem to have dropped the interest they had and have not spoken to Dnipro since January. Manchester United has made an offer for him but the player desires Champions League football.
There is a chance that Rakitic will agree a new deal with Sevilla who want to keep him but offers from Atletico Madrid, Barcelona and Real Madrid are being considered. Chelsea have rekindled interest with some recent discussions and the chance of a player moving in exchange - and have recruited some assistance to try and get a deal done, but they are not confident it can be.}

Good morning Eds
Any truth that we are abandoning our Lallana interest to pursue Markovic from Benfica?
Believable18
Unbelievable6
{Ed002's Note - I am not aware of Liverpool telling Southampton that they are no longer interested in Lallana.}
The Mirror are reporting that "Liverpool are ready to scrap their move for Lallana and turn their attention to Benfica starlet Lazar Markovic"

{Ed002's Note - Maybe Liverpool told the Daily Mirror and they are carrying the message to the world on behalf of the club?}
