Hi eds, any news on the future of some older Academy graduates that don't play, e.g. Darby, Eccleston, Amoo, Pacheco? Are they still seen as having a chance at making the grade or will they be moved on in the summer? Thanks. {Ed001's Note - all 4 you have listed are surplus, for varying reasons.}

Hey eds do you know if there are any academy graduates trainin with the first team not including kelly flannigan wilson and gerrard {Ed001's Note - they regularly bring up a youngster or two to train with the first team, just to give them experience.}

Why is this eds? These lads cost us millions of transfer fees (amoo) and wages. Yet at the end of us developing them and paying them tjousands every week, they will probably just be released, . . Doesnt make sense to me.
Jayo {Ed001's Note - well Amoo has not shown any improvement, in fact quite the opposite he has gone backwards. Pacheco has a serious attitude problem and doesn't try in training, when he can be bothered to get there on time. The others are simply just not Premier League level players right now.}

That bit about Pacheco is very interesting, very interesting indeed.

And I always liked Eccleston, it's a shame he isn't considered good enough. Always thought he was a clever, solid if not spectacular player. Someone who wouldn't score many gals but with pace and movement would cause other people to score more.

Obviously, as Rafa, Hodgson and now Kenny have seen him everyday they know better.

What about coady is he surplus too ? - RED INDIAN

Coady is a good prospect in my opinion.
What we have to understand is that most young players will hit their limit sooner or later. A kid might look a world beater at 14 and a year later look very average due to physical and /or mental development.
It is not down to coaching methods etc, just a fact of life.

When Eccleston came on V Napoli last season he looked pretty good, alright he missed a pen V Notts county or something but it's worth giving him a chance , if we gave Ngog chances then why not try out Eccelston?

Hi Eds, I remembered you saying back in the summer that because of his injury problems the club would be willing to sell Agger if the right offer came along. I'm just wondering if you know whether the club would still entertain offers now? I'd slap a great big 'unsellable' tag on him if I were KK!

DP {Ed001's Note - I haven't heard anything since, but I doubt we would be interested in selling him as of now.}

There isn't a player at any club on earth that isn't for sale if the right offer casme along. Every single one has their price.

Messi? Barca would never, ever sell him.

TSP

That goes without saying. I mean unsellable within reason (assuming 'unsellable' is even a word...)

DP

The sports science team are really earning their money keeping him and Kelly consistently fit. Their brilliant if they can do it with Aurelio too.

Through the Storm

Kk would be a fool to sell. He's totally stepped up to plate and shown he's a fantastic defender and all round player. Defence should be built around him. Future capt for me

Hi eds and all, I genuinely want to know do you think dalglish has a list of players he wants to sign for the summer, and will work on those various players once the summer gets closer? Who do you think from the jan window they will retry and get come the summer?
I really think we should go for Llorente, or soldado, or cavani.
Ed, do you think if Arsenal were not to finish in a top four place and we did, and we went in for Van persie would he come ?
thanks as always for your efforts and prompt responses.
hibsylfc {Ed002's Note - The management team will have players in mind and much will depend on European qualification. I really do not see Cavani or RvP at Liverpool regardless.}

Well eds for answering a ridiculous question. Course theyll have a list of players they want. How can u even think they wouldnt.

Iv heard that Stevie.G won't make the Spuds game on Monday, and he's 50-50 for the Manx game...
Please tell me I'm wrong...

The Grand wizard...

He's carrying a minor injury.

LFC tv site said he will be fit for Spurs game. Kenny said only injury is Lucas.

Ok, your wrong.

Liverpool should try to swap Johnsons with City. Give them Glen and get Adam. What do you think Ed002? {Ed002's Note - Player exchanges are pretty rare. Johnson gives MC width but they do not naturally play a game needing wisth.}

Wisth??

{Ed019's Note - I would just like to let you know that a 'Liverpool Videos' Page has been created. We have put on some videos there already that have been posted in by YoungRed, and from now on, videos that are posted in will appear on that page}

How can someone say its unbelievable

Because it's too good to be true

Maybe Chris Kamara has been on the page.

Geoff

Great idea eds. Will be great for scouting! Thanks guys

Thanks, KickingBro

Do you just post the URL of the video toput it up? {Ed001's Note - yes.}

Liverpool are considering moves for Atletico Madrid defenders Diego Godin and Alvaro Dominguez, according to reports on a Spanish radio station.

Inside football are reprting this as well its probably just speculation we have coates agger and skrtel but maybe carragher will be retiring cant see us going for both but u never know godin is a fantastic defender personally dont understand why we let mikel san jose go he's been playing fantastic for bilbao this year

do you think we will go for Godin in the summer since carragher is not playing as much and is now a cover player?
Hope we do

If we were to sign Godin, it'd be as a replacement for Agger or Skyrtl, can't see the 3of them fighting for 2 places. I would have thought there's more pressing matters than central defence.
