It looks like another CB target of ours is going aswell where with AC Milan in talks with Kabak.

Kabak is hardly someone to lose sleep over. Seems a very hot headed lad and has obvious discipline issues. He would fail the character test miserably.

He gobbed at someone during the C.V.. Not the sort of person I’d want at the club. Vile.

They won't get him. Im amazed at the dough they get for people. 23.5 million for a guy that's played, what 2 prem games. Remember solanke and Ibe. Amazing. I don't know how they do it. Pretty much got their money bk for lovren. Apparently getting 19 million for Wilson. The guy is a good championship player. Fair play like.

Hey edd02, do liverpool have an interest in patson daka? Hearing a few rumours about it today, can't see it myself cheers.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed002's Note - Patson Daka (S) the player signed a new contract mid-season when he was assured of the chance to replace Haaland - a chance he has taken well under Jesse Marsch. RBL could be interested in taking the pair of them but timing is not right. An enquiry from Crystal Palace was rejected and Spurs approach to take him as a back up to Harry Kane fell flat as the player wants to take his chance as a starter. A player who would depart for AFCON which puts many clubs off. He will spend the season in Austria.}

03 Oct 2020 23:11:26
Ed, do you think there will be an AFCON in january with the C.V. still around? Or could it be postponed like the euros? Or even cancelled?

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed002's Note - It has been moved to 2022.}

Ed2 what's the latest on Dembele from Barca, Do Liverpool still hold an interest?

Believable1 Unbelievable0

{Ed002's Note - Ousmane Dembele (LW/RW/F) Barcelona could be stuck with the player as it is unlikely other clubs will match their valuation - unless he can be used as part of another transfer, loaned or the price drops considerably. Liverpool had enquired after his price earlier in the year but likely only want a loan with an option to buy - if that were to become an obligation to buy then it could be possible if Mane or Salah were to leave next summer. PSG would resist his involvement as part of a deal for Neymar and Barcelona have moved on from Neymar in any case. Juventus could be open to a loan but will not want to buy the player. This could be very disruptive to other transfer plans. Manchester United has him on their list of Jadon Sancho alternatives. The player is not keen on leaving Barcelona and has been working hard to prove himself to the new coach - but Barcelona do have him on their lengthy list of players they want to sell or exchange - but he cannot be forced to move.

I heard he’s already annoyed Koeman by turning up late to training. Hopefully United will buy him and he can see out a few years on their treatment table.

Good morning eds,

Are any clubs interested in taking Rhys Williams on loan or is he staying put?

Thanks.

{Ed002's Note - Chesterfield say they have spoken with Liverpool.}

ed002 am surprised that nobody of a higher standard would not want him he I thought he looked good in the 2 games he played in the carabao cup games for us. I would of thought as least league 2.
cheers ed.

{Ed002's Note - Maybe he is not available?}

03 Oct 2020 11:46:16
Is that a good move for him? I feel like he probably should be at a higher level.

Agree0 Disagree0

03 Oct 2020 12:14:48
No, not a good move. He is better than that. League 1 should be the aim.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed002's Note - It simply does not work like that.}

03 Oct 2020 13:42:43
Ed002 said they enquired, that's all. If Van den Berg goes on loan then Williams will probably stay. Rhys and Billy could be moulded into a partnership in the U23s to become a fine backup to the senior CBs. Yet again, in-house solutions.

Well if the National League is the only option he'd be better off staying and training against top class players.

03 Oct 2020 16:04:56
Yeah because playing actual competitive football wouldn't do him any good at all.

03 Oct 2020 16:27:01
He's already had a full season at that level, and proved himself at that level. He now needs to keep going up a level or would you want him loaned to non league teams for the next 2 or 3 years. The lad is an U20 international, don't think too many in that squad would be near the fifth tier of football in the country.
