Hello Ed002. I know Rodgers' position is under threat and Macca has said we have talked to CA, but while this is going on, wouldn't areas like scouting be going on as normal? Assuming it does, who are the players LFC are scouting that you are aware off? I understand the targets may change with the manager and that it is very far to the transfer window and that very likely we will not buy anyone in January. But, just curious who LFC scouts have been keeping tabs on. Thanks in advance.

{Ed002's Note - Scouting continues but right now I am not aware of Liverpool looking to do any specific business in January. Liverpool are one of the clubs that looked at Dani Ceballos late last season and Betis want to tie him down to a longer term deal before his contract expires in the summer - so there may still be interest there.}

Liverpool F.C. should move heaven and earth to get Klopp.

Mr Dennis, I could be wrong but I'm sure the Ed's have said consistently that LFC have shown no interest at all to make a move for Klopp. I'm certain this is the case.

Poor Borini and Coates. Both are going to play as wing-backs by november and out on loan by jan.

I thought after the Sion debacle that Rodgers would be the first managerial casualty but, after today, McClaren could do worse than surfing Fish4Jobs on his laptop going back to Newcastle tonight.
I can see De Boer at St.James' and Ancelotti at Anfield before the week is through.
Purely based on my guts and with no inside info whatsoever these are my odds on who'll be in charge of us after the international-break;

Ancelotti 10/11
Rodgers Evens
Un-mentioned 5/2
O'Driscoll 4/1 *
Klopp 13/2
De Boer 7/1
Carragher 33/1 *
*(as caretaker)

I'm not sure if these prices make mathematical sense but I'm not a bookie. Just wanted to put my tuppence-worth into the mix while waiting for the rugby to start.

Personally, would like Ancelotti or Klopp for different reasons.
The expensive and ambitious players we've got (Coutinho, Firminho, Sakho, Sturridge, Benteke etc.) not to mention our youngsters, need a successful manager to follow. Someone who doesn't just make it up as he goes along.

Ed001 if your about. Do you believe BR will be sacked next week? Who do you think the the replacement will be? There has been a lot of talk about de Boer, do you rate him as a manager?

Sorry for all the question but just one more will the live podcast be made available to watch on YouTube?

Thanks

{Ed001's Note - I expect it to happen, unless we by some miracle slaughter Everton, as it gives the best opportunity to the owners to sort it out. The only thing that could save him, bar that miracle, is if no one is willing to come in and replace.

As for the live vodcast, unfortunately we had so many technical issues that we were unable to record it as planned. Hopefully in future those will be ironed out.}

Thanks for the insight Ed001. For me, he should go whatever the result tomorrow and even if the club cannot bring in a direct replacement they should do what many other clubs do and put one of the back room, Sean will do, in as interim to steady the ship. I don't believe we could be any worse for this. He just needs to go, He doesn't even wear his red tie at the match anymore, its always black, kind of like funeral attire.

Yes. Burn him. He wears a black tie

I know all of fans out there wanted LFC to lose tonight but to wish us to lose to Everton is not easy. But with Jose sack looming, top managers will turn their heads to Chelsea and we may lose our main managerial targets. And NO, I don't think we want Walter Mazzari or Gary Monk as they are just like BR in disguise. I am afraid Roman may have contacted Ancelloti already as we speak.

Why would Chelsea sack Mourinho? They've got the best manager in the world and once he gets the players playing which he will they'll soon get some form
