Hi Eds, what's your view on the FA debacle? It obviously needs reform but surely if the government gets involved then it will fall foul of FIFA regulations. Thanks.

{Ed025's Note - could you be a bit more specific barakdee, there are so many with that lot mate..

Hi Eds, any idea what might happen goalkeeper wise in the summer? Do you think Tom Heaton may be on the radar?

Thanks for the top work you do for the site.

Believable0 Unbelievable2

{Ed001's Note - far too soon for this mate, but I very much doubt Heaton will be joining as things stand.}

03 Feb 2017 20:44:58
Ed001, any chance you think the club will try move on Mignolet?

Agree0 Disagree1

{Ed001's Note - it is more a case of whether or not he asks to leave.}

03 Feb 2017 20:53:50
Then we are stuck with him.

Agree0 Disagree2

{Ed001's Note - it is far too early to be sure on that front. He certainly will not stay if he is not first choice.}

Strange though as Mignolet is still no 1. If we wanted it to go that far then surely Klopp should have kept faith with Karius and in return frustrated Mignolet.

Not like Karius was doing worse than Mignolet. Very confused.

I guess the hope is karius settles - it is still early for him, I hope he does but just wondered I f top of to do list as no team has won the league without a decent keeper!

To be honest id love to see Karius been given another chance, like you say max he doesn't do worse then migs so bang him on. I really have high hopes for the lad.

I agree, Karius needed to be taken out the firing line but he's no worse than Migs and has potential to be a lot better. Migs is a decent keeper but hasn't taken his many chances to prove he can keep goal for a consistent period of time without making regular mistakes.

The whole goalkeeping situation is very confused. And it has done damage to our season.

I'm a huge fan of Klopp, but every manager makes mistakes. He has blundered on this front.

I disagree here. Karius was the one Klopp wanted and rightly so as Migs had screwed up immensely since he's been here. When Karius was struggling, many fans were on his back and literally waiting for him to fail or make a mistake (as if no GK had ever made one before) and with the media on his back too, Klopp had to take a stand and drop him.

Migs (a known quantity for clangers) was brought back in cos many on here had forgotten for some strange reason, how inconsistent hed beenall cos, "Karius is losing us the PL" nonsense.

Now, the Migs we've all known and loved, is haunting us again and now, people want Karius back in. Strange, right? Karius is clearly talented as we wouldn't have had a chance in the EFL second leg had it not been his heroics in the first leg vs Saints. He made no mistakes and was MOTM in the first leg. Migs is who he is and that won't ever change so I'm not surprised that he's dropping clangers again. It's what he does.

Few weeks ago someone said 'Migs is finally becoming the keeper we've wanted'.

I responded saying "he always does this, a couple of good games then he basically throws one in the nets".

True to form, Migs is back.

We should keep faith with Karius or make an offer to see if Joe Hart is available in the summer. Confidence is low on all fronts I think also probably energy levels dude to the intensity we started the season at.

Joe Hart is definitely not the answer.

Believe we will see quite a few more players leave in the summer. Sturridge's future is uncertain, Sakho and Lucas most definitely will leave. Mignolet, Clyne and Ings possibly too.

Along with more academy players. If there are going to be many outs again in the summer then Klopp might just go very big and with CL football on the cards he might just go all out to bring in 2-3 top quality players to take our squad to the next level.

Ings? no chance, the poor bugger has simply been unlucky, I can't see him been let go. The rest I agree with.

I would throw Millie and Moreno into the may-leaves.

Why Clyne? He's one of the best right backs in the league, and if it's because you think Trent is ready to take over, I disagree- he's not ready for first team football every single game yet.

One of the best right backs in the league? Come one, he's not even in the top 5!

Ben if you think Clyne is one of the best RB's in the PL then, you need to re-evaluate your knowledge of the RB position cos that is patently false. If Clyne was that good, why was Klopp looking to replace him last summer.

Clyne is poor especially offensively as he has no end product. He's a ball watcher and doesn't track runners, things TAA is already better at than him. Don't be surprised if he's no longer here next season.

Plz add lallana and most important Can to that list.

Who will be replacing Ayre as Chief Exec? I know the new CEO role will have less influence as Mike Edwards will take over some of the duties but still curious nonetheless. Thanks.

Big Billy Hogan.

Nope, he's the new managing director! The new CEO will not be revealed until after the season according to the Echo!
