Doesn't matter so much when it's already been decided that he's leaving. I'd say the club and the fans understand his desire. It's not like he even lives in Donetsk or plays in front of big home crowds, except for European games. Will be interesting if Liverpool and Shakhtar meet in the EL though.

Maybe Tex moved for quick pay day with view of moving to Liverpool in the Summer maybe? Perhaps a way of getting round the fact SD clearly didn't want to do business with us. Unlikely but worth a thought.

Wow. I was wrong about Teixeira.

Guy grew up in the slums of Rio. Going to make 185 a week now.

I doubt begrudge him that security.

Obviously wanted to get the hell out of Ukraine.

I had taken Teixeira at his word, he wanted a move to a bigger club to increase his chances to be capped for Brazil.

Less likely to happen now, but certainly, he has financial security for the rest of his life. Well in.

A friend just told me the Matip deal is done. Signed a pre-contract agreement. Not sure where he got that so though I'd check here. Is it true Eds?

Sad day today after the match yesterday,

I was wondering about Xhaka at bundesliga. Do you know if liverpool shows interst in him for a summer trasfer!

I tried the search and found a lot about january but not if we actually are looking at him at al?

{Ed002's Note - Granit Xhaka signed a new long-term contract but there was interest from Napoli, Atletico Madrid and Inter in January.Borussia Monchengladbach Previous interest from Stoke and Everton is gone. Newcastle, Valencia, Manchester City, Spurs, Napoli and Arsenal have scouted the player this season and any would likely continue that interest with a bid if he were available. I can completely discount Inter at this time and although interested Atletico are needing to plan very carefully knowing that they have a significant issue on the horizon. Borussia Monchengladbach made it very clear that he would not move in January and that is what was told to Napoli when they made an approach to the club. I am not aware of Liverpool either directly tapping up the player nor approaching his father as the Liverpool fans have been suggesting. In the coming months we will likely see Arsenal and Napoli posturing regarding Xhaka.}
