Zielinski is looking less likely. If higuian comes I'll run through battersea dogs home with peanut butter on my nads, and that's probably more likely than aubameyang arriving!

You really only think the last one is unrealistic?

You first suggestion involves us selling our captain, and Monchengladbach selling their only midfielder left from last seasons midfield trio.

You second suggestion involves Lucas leaving which is unlikely in it's own right, but then puts forward an attacking midfielder as a viable replacement.

Your third suggestion relies on not only Gotze performing a U-turn and leaving Bayern, but also Klopp and Lallana both having lied in their interview where both suggested Lallana was going nowhere.

You're fourth suggestion is a striker valued at £72m.

And you seriously only think the last bit of this post is far fetched?

Aubameyang is probably going to Real. I think with Sturridge, Ings, Firmino and Origi we have enough up front.
I would rather keep Benteke than spend a stupid amount on Higuain. I don't think he's worth the outlay.
Hendo won't be sold unless someone offers us a crazy amount.
In central midfield, even if we lose Lucas and Allen, we have Can, Hendo, Grujic, Stewart, Brannagan and Markovic when/ if he returns. I don't think we need Zielinski.
I'd rather develop Ojo than throw money at the likes of Götze.

The last one is the only unbelievable one haha? I wish that list was correct but there's no way we r getting Higuain. I think going forward we are going to be ok. it's the back 5 that need bolstering and maybe another cmf.

I just don't get people's obsession with Hendo leaving. He is one of our top players. Just because he doesn't do the spectacular every game fan's seem to think he's a poor player. He is one of our best, most consistent and we ALWAYS miss him when he's not playing. I for one hope he is one that the manager ensures we retain.

I actually hope you are right but can't see it. I also believe that the rest of you will look a bit daft too though if you are claiming Lallana and Hendo are here for the long haul.
It's foolhardy to think we cannot upgrade on both, especially the latter. We have proved a point with him since Fergie slated him, but he was massively damaged by Rodgers making him captain after Gerrard leaving (and standing over free-kicks in Ronaldo pose too) . The former has worked well under Klopp, but he simply doesn't chip in enough with goals.

I haven't got a clue on who we'd end up with but like the looks of Volland, Zielinski has lot tohis game too. And I like many others for about two/ three years I have been longing for a goalie (check) and still a CM/ CDM with legs, who can dictate play. Not had anyone on the metronome since Alonso. In short supply those players though.

On a side, could we nab anyone from Newcastle if worthy too? I really fancied Sissoko until the season he just had, seems like an obligatory sulker as he suddenly played his socks off against Spurs as the last game.

Thanks.

Hi Eds.

Can you give any insight to what wide players we're tracking/ pursuing? I've seen few mentioned, Rafa Silva being the only player I can remember. Volland mainly in passing as Ed001 said was just an 'example'. Dembele who was never really realistic and both have now moved on anyway.

I've followed the posts and have seen wide areas mentioned as a priority but can't find names to players we're interested in.

Believable1 Unbelievable8

{Ed002's Note - It shouldn't be difficult to find a previous summary, but Praet is of interest to Klopp but I still expect him to move to Sevilla, Georges-Kevin N'Koudou of Marseille has been looked at as has Gokhan Tore (but he is heading elsewhere) and Lucas Moura (bit of a flake, expensive and unlikely). Everything seems quiet with Rafik Zekhnini, Andrija Zivkovic and Davor Lovren who have been of interest. Liverpool is one of many sides with a declared interest in Anwar El Ghazi and he is a player I expect we will hear more of during the transfer window. Sofiane Feghouli was apparently speculatively considered - I could never confirm that but I expect him to head elsewhere and confirmation of that to be made very soon. Deportivo's Lucas Perez was scouted but is in talks with another EPL side - but is awaiting an approach from a Champions League side I understand - a career to will drift off in to the shadows. Karim Bellarabi has been watched by Liverpool - and many others.}

30 May 2016 18:43:49
Like j said the other day, I would really like us to consolidate out interest in Karim Bellarabi with a bid.

He's experienced, effective and proven. I don't know how much Bayer would want for him and we can't offer European football but if a deal can be done then we should do it.

Agree3 Disagree8

{Ed002's Note - Bayer Leverkusen are keen for him to stay and I expect he will.

30 May 2016 18:49:43

Hasnt zivkovic joined Benfica as Gaitans replacement.

Agree1 Disagree5

{Ed002's Note - It has yet to be ratified but the expectation is that it will go through during July. There are some complex ownership issues involving Pini Zahivi needing to be resolved first - but excpectation is that they can be.}

31 May 2016 02:12:31
Fosberg the swedish winger is good prospect too.

Hi eds!
The mirror and the echo have both stated the Higuain is interested in joing liverpool, though it does go on to say that he made a statement that he would "like to work under Klopp" (obviously doesn't say that he want to come to liverpool, so god knows when he may have said this) .

Obviously with a £72 million buyout clause and Klopp more keen to develop young players, what are the chances that Klopp would consider bringing in Higuain, personally I would love to see him come in.

Believable3 Unbelievable20

{Ed001's Note - the Mirror owns the Echo. So saying two sister papers have said the same thing is meaningless. The Mirror is less reliable than anything bar Metro. Higuain is very happy where he is, and has publicly and privately said as much, but I am also sure he would consider offers to move. Napoli would also be hard pressed to refuse a big money offer. There is little chance of us moving for him though.}

It could happen if we sell studger coutinho and benteke this summer.
you would think we would go for a superstar player if we sell all three. So its not totally out of the question neither is selling all 3. It has been said plenty of times this will be the maddest transfer window.
and as Macca has suggested if FSG are to sell the club eds suggest offers from middle east and china can be on the table. so maybe we will have a sizeable transfer budget
there is too much that could happen in the next 3 months.

Hi Eds!
Could you provide an update what is the situation with Ante Coric. Are we getting closer to get him?
Thanks for your time!

Believable1 Unbelievable11

{Ed001's Note - there is no point people asking this 20 times a day. He has a lot of clubs to speak to and it is likely it will take time before he makes a decision. There is no way of knowing as it is just a decision from the lad himself, it could be 20 seconds away or months.}
